It was a fun year! It's not the NCAA, but these kids took the snub to the big dance and ran. They improved greatly for next season, so the NIT was a blessing in disguise. We're not just a football school any longer :P

Now I just have to hope my Beavers can win Game 3 in the CBI championship (currently tied 1-1 with UTEP). Not bad regardless for a team picked to finish in the Pac-10 Cellar.

Go PITT! ;-)

Truth is Treason in the Empire of Lies

"Don't Tread on Me", originally a war cry of Benjamin Franklin during America's fight for independence, has come to symbolize the American spirit. It first appeared on the Gadsen flag (named for and by General Christopher Gadsen) which featured the slogan below a coiled rattlesnake that was ready to attack. The snake (along with the slogan) came to symbolize America as an animal that would never strike first, but when provoked, would never give in. Today, it also symbolizes and celebrates personal independence and perseverance.

Pitt is a Bball school with a football team :P

Seriously, you guys do have excellent hoops, but Wanny isn't the answer for your football team. It's not going to get any easier this year with McCoy (and that tackling machine line backer) gone. Good luck anyway.

PS: I live in town, so if your ever free for a bite to eat, or a cup of coffee, it's on me.

Thanks. Still 3-0 sounds more like a Baseball score than a Bowl Game. The lowest score in a Bowl Game since 1959. Congrats on your Lions.

Good newz, I have friends that are nittany lions.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”—Samuel Adams
