New York Atheists Claim Religious Exemption From Vaccine After Governor Claims That It’s From God
Post Date: 2021-09-30 09:13:08 by Ada

ALBANY, NY—New York atheists have come out in force against the COVID-19 vaccine after learning that their state’s Governor Kathy Hochul claimed that God made the scientists, doctors, and researchers invent the vaccine. The state’s atheists were further incensed when Hochul displayed a religious emblem hanging from her neck that symbolized her acceptance of the holy vaccine. Crowds of atheists pressed into the State Health Department’s headquarters to submit forms seeking religious exemptions from the vaccine requirement. "We're sick of these religious nutjobs in government forcing their religious convictions on the rest of us!" said Brett Winstone, ...

Evangelicals said for decades that a satanic system would take over the West and shut down churches and arrest Christians. Now that’s literally happening, and most of these evangelicals are saying “yeah but it’s because of a virus tho.” It’s similar to the “yeah but you don’t have a Constitution because of a virus” arguments. I’m not an expert on escatology, but I’m pretty sure that not even the evangelicals said “but except if there’s a virus.” Obviously, there would need to be a reason that the government would start shutting down churches and arresting Christians. I don’t know what these people were picturing in ...

Another Military Appreciation Day
Post Date: 2021-09-13 12:34:59 by Ada

I have written many times about American military appreciation days (also known as holidays): Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day. Conservative Christians celebrate these days with a vengeance on the Sunday before these holidays. Sometimes unsuspecting Christians experience a double whammy when their church celebrates one of these holidays on both the Sunday before and the Sunday after. When Independence Day or Veterans Day falls on a Sunday, it is a high holy day. The newest military appreciation day is the Sunday closest to 9/11. Since yesterday was the 20th anniversary of 9/11, many conservative churches turned up the the military blasphemy and idolatry in church today. ...

Salvatore J. Cordileone gives a blessing sing during a ceremony to install him as the new archbishop of San Francisco at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in San Francisco on Oct. 4, 2012. (Marcio Jose Sanchez - Pool / AP) 'Great Moral Evil': Fed-Up Archbishop Unleashes on Pelosi and Biden By Isa Cox September 7, 2021 at 2:55pm President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are famous for professing adherence to the Roman Catholic faith — and notorious for championing policies that irrefutably violate the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The Speaker, for her part, has earned herself indirect rebuke from her own archbishop on more than one occasion. ...

Sleepwalking Into a Non-White Future

“About six-in-ten White adults of all ages say the declining share of White people in the population is neither good nor bad for society.” Pew Research Center, August 23 2021 I was fascinated and frustrated by a recent series of polls conducted by the Pew Research Center on attitudes toward America’s declining White population. While there are several interesting layers to Pew’s findings, the key message is that a significant majority of White respondents indicated that they feel the declining share of White people in the population is neither good nor bad for society. In other words, they feel that nothing will fundamentally change for them or their children despite ...

Voting for Evil

According to most conservative, evangelical, and fundamentalist Christians, Democrats are evil, and voting for Democrats means voting for evil. I certainly can’t disagree with this. After all, the Democratic Party is the party of socialism, collectivism, paternalism, statism, abortion on demand (at taxpayer expense if they can get away with it), LGBTQ “rights,” social justice, economic egalitarianism, feminism, environmentalism, climate change, green energy, universal healthcare, affirmative action, government regulations, higher taxes, welfare, organized labor, public education, anti-discrimination laws, defunding the police, and alternative lifestyles. What these ...

France brought Jihad on itself, now has some tough decisions to make – former anti-terrorism cop to RT 29 Oct, 2020 20:48 / Updated 9 months ago A spate of stabbing attacks are the result of France’s failed experiment with multiculturalism, former UK counterterrorism chief Chris Philipps told RT. When the liberal West and Islamic East clash, he said, violence follows. “I do believe that France and the West brought a lot of this on themselves,” Philipps told RT on Thursday. “They’ve invited people to come to their country and allowed people to come to their country who’ve no thought process of eventually assimilating.” “French culture, you ...

Forged gospels: No historical figure has been as manipulated, distorted, and used for nefarious ends as egregiously as Jesus

‘Veritas: A Harvard Professor, a Con Man and the Gospel of Jesus’s Wife’ by Ariel Sabar © Anchor Chris Hedges is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and host of RT’s On Contact, a weekly interview series on US foreign policy, economic realities and civil liberties in American society. He’s the author of 14 books, including several New York Times best-sellers. Ariel Sabar masterfully dissects the dishonesty and narcissism inherent in nearly all Christian theological work in his book ‘Veritas: A Harvard Professor, a Con Man and the Gospel of Jesus’s Wife’. Jesus Christ has been trotted out over the past two millennia to justify a litany of ...

I think this has been the toughest ride I've ever been on. I didn't think there was any hope of winning given the prevailing conditions, being white, and all. The squirt can come home and maybe we'll all get back to where we were 5 years ago. I love the both of you dearly. This ride has hurt me more than losing my family, but you're gonna have to be my new one. We're not going to be able to save the country, that's gone, but you'll have a hand-up opposed to most folks. I don't envy you Jon, but take care of the squirt. I love you both. I'm glad she's home again. I'll get her junior lock pick set on the way. You both might need some edumacating ...

Sparked by Pandemic Fallout, Homeschooling Surges Across US
Post Date: 2021-07-25 10:51:08 by Ada

Although the pandemic disrupted family life across the U.S. since taking hold in spring 2020, some parents are grateful for one consequence: They're now opting to homeschool their children, even as schools plan to resume in-person classes. The specific reasons vary widely. Some families who spoke with The Associated Press have children with special educational needs; others seek a faith-based curriculum or say their local schools are flawed. The common denominator: They tried homeschooling on what they thought was a temporary basis and found it beneficial to their children. “That’s one of the silver linings of the pandemic – I don’t think we would have chosen to ...

The Missing Preface to the 1611 King James Version

The following thesis by a modern manuscript scholar, now deceased, protests the omission of the Translators’ Preface to the 1611 King James Version (the text is included below) from King James Bibles for the past 100 years. We are left to wonder why it has been left to a “modern” scholar to issue this compelling and legitimate objection to the removal of the Translators’ Preface. What other book would be published without its preface, the preliminary essay in which the author or authors explain their intentions and methods of research, define the scope of their work and present invaluable background information to the reader? Why is it that a modern scholar endeavoured ...

Bishop Denies Communion for Democratic Lawmaker Who Voted for Pro- Abortion Bill by Jack Davis July 20, 2021 at 10:14am A New Mexico Democratic legislator who is also a Catholic has been denied Communion over his support of abortion. State Sen. Joseph Cervantes on Saturday issued a tweet portraying himself as a victim of persecution “I was denied communion last night by the Catholic bishop here in Las Cruces and based on my political office,” he tweeted. “My new parish priest has indicated he will do the same after the last was run off. “Please pray for church authorities as Catholicism transitions under Pope Francis.” Cervantes followed that up with a ...

As at least 20 Canadian Churches Burn, Politicians and Others ENDORSE the Arson

“I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison, and his successor will die a martyr in the public square,” said Cardinal Francis George in 2010. The only thing the prelate might have gotten wrong, it appears, is the time frame — if the shocking reaction to Canada’s recent church burnings is any indication. For as houses of worship, some of which serve immigrant and American Indian communities, are set alight by arsonists, a civil libertarian tweeted “Burn it all down.” What’s more, some politicians have, incredibly, tacitly or explicitly endorsed this sentiment. So “all of a sudden, Canada looks a lot like the Soviet Union,” remarked ...

Jewish FBI Agent Infiltrates Bible Study Group; Then Tries To Entrap Its Members

The family of 27-year-old Fi Duong thought they escaped government oppression when they left Vietnam. They were wrong. According to an FBI criminal complaint, Duong has been closely surveilled by the FBI for the past six months, including while he engaged in religious activity. In conversations with undercover FBI agents, Duong held that he entered the Capitol on January 6th to film the events in a journalistic capacity. The man was a member of a Virginia-based Bible study group that Jewish Joint Terrorism Task Force special agent Jason Jankovitz decided to open up a domestic terror probe into. Agents repeatedly tried and failed to snare Duong into a Molotov cocktail plot because he ...

Conspiracy: Theory and Practice

Toward a Taxonomy of Conspiracies I. The greatest conspiracies are open and notorious — not theories, but practices expressed through law and policy, technology, and finance. Counterintuitively, these conspiracies are more often than not announced in public and with a modicum of pride. They’re dutifully reported in our newspapers; they’re bannered onto the covers of our magazines; updates on their progress are scrolled across our screens — all with such regularity as to render us unable to relate the banality of their methods to the rapacity of their ambitions. The party in power wants to redraw district lines. The prime interest rate has changed. A free service ...

I don’t know him personally, but a young man who is professes to be a Christian has accepted a job with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The question before us is a simple one: Should a Christian work for the DEA? What, exactly, is the DEA? According to the agency’s website: The DEA was established in 1973 as the federal organization in charge of enforcing the controlled substances laws of the United States. Today thousands of DEA employees located in hundreds of offices across the country and around the world are dedicated to fulfilling DEA’s mission and to continuing our Tradition of Excellence. We are experts in drug enforcement: Special Agents, Diversion ...

Why Patriots Shouldn't Pledge Allegiance

This "slavish ritual of devotion to the state" has no place in a free society Flag Day is upon us, with the Fourth of July not far behind. No better time for a frontal assault on a cherished American ritual—the Pledge of Allegiance. Though conservatives will be most aghast at this undertaking, the open-minded ones will soon discover they should be among the pledge’s greatest critics. Before I open fire, a brief explanation for international readers: The Pledge of Allegiance is recited by children across America at the start of start of each school day. It’s also incorporated into many meetings held by federal, state and local governments and private groups as ...

Was mask-wearing pointless, after all? Fauci must be forced to answer

Did we ever need masks? It’s a touchy, complex question. People may not want to learn that millions of us covered our faces for 15 months for no good reason after all. But asking the questions is exactly what we must do. Last week, a trove of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s emails were released to the public. In a Feb. 5, 2020, email to a Team Obama health official, the virus guru wrote that masks were for infected people, and that “the typical mask you buy in a drug store is not really effective in keeping out the virus, which is small enough to pass through the material.” Fauci now claims that new information emerged in the time since that email proving the efficacy of ...

Biden’s FBI Caught For The Umpteenth Time Trying To Cause A Mass Shooting By US Politics And News Last updated May 25, 2021 Wouldn’t you love to see a Member of Congress get FBI Director Christopher Wray under oath and ask him this question: “Exactly how many mass shootings has the FBI directly caused on American soil since January 20th, 2009?” We had a nice respite from FBI-induced mass shootings for a while during the Trump administration. But now that Joe Biden is sitting in the White House, the FBI is back to the same old tricks it first adopted under the Obama administration: Locate an emotionally unstable incel (involuntarily celibate) young man on social media ...

As is always the case, history the trickster is taking us to a place we didn’t expect to go. Personally, I don’t lose a lot of sleep over Klaus Schwab, the James Bond villain who runs the World Economic Forum (WEF) and is behind the widely touted Great Reset campaign. The Great Reset proposes to reorganize all human endeavor going forward from the top town, directed by an elite cohort of technocrat commissars, to produce a “green” utopia — mainly for their own benefit. It’s an elaborate joke, really. The human project is surely going somewhere. The direction is determined not by technocrat megalomaniacs but by the process called emergence, which means a ...

Federal judge says Christian college must open female showers up to biological men By Staff Writers May 21, 2021 A federal judge ruled on Wednesday that male and female students must be allowed to share shower spaces and dorms at a Christian college in Missouri — a devastating blow to those advocating for the safety of women on campus. Judge Roseann Ketchmark ruled against the College of the Ozarks, a Christian college that sued the Biden administration over its transgender discrimination policies. The college argued President Joe Biden’s executive order that prevented schools from denying children access to restrooms of their choosing opposed their convictions. “Women ...
