Early Civilizations Had It All Figured Out
Post Date: 2021-11-02 22:22:46 by Ada
A contrarian account of our prehistory argues that cities once flourished without rulers and rules—and still could. “The Dawn of Everything” aims to expand our political imagination by exploring how human beings once lived together.Illustration by Rob Sato Moments of sociopolitical tumult have a way of generating all-encompassing explanatory histories. These chronicles either indulge a sense of decline or applaud our advances. The appetite for such stories seems indiscriminate—tales of deterioration and tales of improvement are frequently consumed by the same people. Two of Bill Gates’s favorite soup-to-nuts books of the past decade, for example, are Steven ...

Origin Mystery of Perplexing Tarim Basin Mummies Solved with DNA Study
Post Date: 2021-10-31 22:13:57 by Ada
Located in northwestern China’s Xinjiang region, the Tarim Basin is a rich confluence of geology, history, and culture. In fact, it is speculated that this region may be one of the last to be inhabited in Asia. The region acquired international renown in the 1990s when hundreds of naturally mummified remains were discovered. Dating back to between 2,000 BC and 200 AD, these Tarim Basin mummies had a seemingly “Western” appearance. In order to solve this mystery and understand the origins of these first settlers in the basin, experts used genome sequencing. Their results have now been published in the journal Nature. One of the Tarim Basin mummies, a naturally mummified ...

What the CIA Is Hiding in the JFK Assassination
Post Date: 2021-10-29 10:40:45 by Ada
With President Biden succumbing to the CIA’s demand to continue keeping the CIA’s records relating to the Kennedy assassination secret, the question naturally arises: What is the CIA still hiding? (See my blog post of yesterday entitled “Surprise! Biden Continues the CIA’s JFK Assassination Cover-Up.”) To understand what they are still hiding and why they are still hiding it, it’s necessary to go back to the 1990s during the era of the Assassination Records Review Board — and even further back than that to November 22, 1963 — the day that Kennedy was assassinated. People often say that if the CIA and the Pentagon had orchestrated the assassination ...

Why The Battle Of The Bulge Proved Pivotal To WW2 | Greatest Tank Battles | War Stories
Post Date: 2021-10-24 15:14:02 by BTP Holdings
The Battle Of The Bulge. In December 1944, German forces launch a surprise attack through the Ardennes Forest in Belgium. This is the story of the American tankers who helped defend the American line against Hitler's final gamble on the western front. Poster Comment:I knew an old guy who was a cannoneer for Patton. He told me he never missed a fire mission. He also said he got frost bite on his toes during the Battle of the Bulge but could not prove it happened in the service so he could not collect. He also told me he captured a German Major and the Company commander took credit for it.

American Pravda: Remembering the Liberty
Post Date: 2021-10-18 08:29:19 by Ada
Table of Contents Concealing the Deliberate Israeli Attack I’m not exactly sure when I first heard of the Liberty incident of 1967. The story was certainly a dramatic one, the attack upon an almost defenseless American intelligence ship by Israel’s air and naval forces late in the Six Day War fought against several Arab states. Over 200 American servicemen were killed or wounded by Israeli machine-guns, rockets, napalm, and torpedos, representing our greatest naval loss of life since World War II. Only tremendous luck and the heroic actions of the sailors prevented the Liberty from being sunk with all hands lost. The Israeli government quickly claimed that the attack had been ...

Jasenovac: the Latest Holocaust Embarrassment
Post Date: 2021-10-17 09:02:18 by Ada
Funny how it goes with the Holocaust story: time and again, an ugly bit of truth slips out. When that happens, yet one more piece of the charade comes to light, for all to see. For a brief moment, one more embarrassing truth catches the public eye, only to quickly be cast into the depths of the memory hole. Only through diligence, hard work, and a bit of luck do such things come to assume a greater significance. This time, sharp eyes caught the slip-up. The issue in question is an obscure World War II concentration camp in present-day Croatia, by the name of Jasenovac. The camp—which operated for around three and a half years, from mid-1941 until war’s end—is, by any ...

Pre-Columbian America Wasn’t Exactly a Paradise of Freedom
Post Date: 2021-10-16 08:59:02 by Ada
To tell the story of the Americas as the violent “pacifying” and corralling of free indigenous peoples by white outsiders is to erase the long history of statism in many places. The story of European colonization of the Americas is popularly understood as the conquest of American Indians—the end of natives’ control of the land and the beginning of their subjugation. The contingencies of indigenous agency and geopolitics mean that the reality is much messier, as historians have been steadily revealing for decades, but this interpretation still circulates. One possible reason for its longevity is the still common impression that Indians all roamed freely over the land, ...

7.2 million-Year-Old Pre-Human Fossil Suggests Mankind Arose in Europe NOT Africa
Post Date: 2021-09-29 14:26:53 by Ada
A new analysis of two 7.2 million-year-old fossils belonging to a hominin species nicknamed “El Graeco” from Mediterranean Europe, suggests that mankind emerged in Europe and not in Africa. The new study could reshape history, since it openly challenges the “out of Africa theory.” Click for Full Text!

Insider Col. L. Fletcher Prouty discusses the JFK Assassination and America's Clandestine History
Post Date: 2021-09-25 22:36:32 by BTP Holdings
Pulled this out of my archives -- I produced it for John Judge in 1992, and it's as gripping to listen to now as it was then. Col. Prouty was a high level, military insider who saw what was going on behind the curtain. Definitely worth watching (or listening to) if you want to hear some REAL history. He talks about JFK, 'Murder, Inc.', the Vietnam War, the Korean War, how they smuggled Nazi intelligence officers into our military to help us start the cold war, and lots more. Plenty of eye openers here. Oh, the 'high cabal' is talked about, too. Sorry about the quality. I pulled it off an old VHS tape. But don't let that stop you. You definitely want to hear Col. ...

Wittmann participated in many of the greatest tank battles of all time. He was a notorious figure, until he was finally defeated by Canadian tankers. Poster Comment:When we worked for Illinois State Highways, we had as a Foreman this Sudeten German-American foreman. He said once, "In the old country we didn't have pot holes. They used cobblestones." One time he was calling on the radio for more asphalt (to fill pot holes). I said over the radio, "Ya, in ze old country ve had ze cobblestones." This guy who was in the crew cab with him told me, "When that came over the air he said, "Dammit!" LOL

Inside The Final Days Before Marie Antoinette’s Death Sated France’s Bloodlust
Post Date: 2021-09-17 18:44:52 by BTP Holdings
Inside The Final Days Before Marie Antoinette’s Death Sated France’s Bloodlust By Andrew Milne | Checked By Joanna Nix Published October 14, 2019 The days preceding Marie Antoinette's execution were excruciating. She was imprisoned, endured allegations of incest, and her hair went white overnight from shock. Marie Antoinette: the very name of the doomed queen of France, the last of the Ancien Régime, evokes power and fascination. Against the poverty of late 18th-century France, the five syllables evoke a cloud of pastel-colored indulgence, absurd fashions, and cruel frivolity, like a rococo painting sprung to life. The real life, and death, of Marie Antoinette is ...

History Undercover 1998. Directed By John Biffar, Produced and edited by Dave C Beaty, 3D Graphics by Mario Merino and Dave C Beaty. This film documents historian David Myhra's research into the Nazi work to develop advanced aircraft, rockets and a long-range secret project near the end of WWII. Myhra spent decades in Germany and around the globe searching for evidence of advanced Nazi aerospace tech and he presents his findings here. Did the German aerospace designers really develop advanced aerospace weapons to reach the United States? Or was the third-reich's industrial capability fully destroyed in late 1945? Were Hitler's V-Weapons or "vergeltungswaffen" weapons ...

New Evidence Implicates CIA, LAPD, FBI and Mafia as Plotters in Elaborate “Hit” Plan to Prevent RFK From Ever Reaching White House

Yet even after over 50 years, high government officials like Vice President Kamala Harris are still trying to cover up the truth about his murder. [California parole commissioners recommended on August 27th that Sirhan Sirhan should be freed after spending more than 50 years in prison for assassinating Robert Kennedy. Strong evidence suggests that Sirhan was not the real killer and would be exonerated in any new and objective trial.
