A Lloyd's insurance syndicate has begun a landmark legal case against Saudi Arabia, accusing the kingdom of indirectly funding al-Qa'ida and demanding the repayment of £136m it paid out to victims of the 9/11 attacks. What happened ten years ago today was unthinkable. Literally. At the time it happened, most people were unable to think about it, to really accept that it was happening. Many still are. Maybe I'm hopelessly sentimental. Please set aside your opinions on 9-11 and politics for 4 minutes. Regardless of what you think about 9-11, our political class, and wars, a lot of innocent people died that day and afterward. A lot of familys were ripped apart, or otherwise affected, because of what happened that day. It's effects rippled through our society and the world. For the next 3:46, listen to this song.
