“Everything that can be engineered is being engineered dishonestly.” —Truman Verdun If you think the reasons behind the First World War were incomprehensible, imagine what historians of the future — pan-frying peccary loins over their camp fires — will think about World War Three. Some people started something in Ukraine… and then the USA blew up the main energy supply line of its NATO ally, Germany… say, what…?!? Weird, a little bit. A sane person in a sane world would call sabotaging the Nord Stream pipelines an act-of-war against a friendly nation, since the result was to virtually destroy the basis of Germany’s industry, not to mention ...

Visualizing Earth's Moving Plates

On February 6 and 7, the Southeast of Turkey and the Northwest of Syria have been hit by devastating earthquakes. In addition to the main tremor that reached a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale, more than 20 aftershocks with magnitudes between 5.0 and 7.5 were registered in the earthquake-ravaged region around Gaziantep. Since Monday, the death toll of the disaster has climbed to 17,000 in Turkey and neighboring Syria, according to CNN. The cause of the Turkey-Syria earthquake - and all other earthquakes - lies in the phenomenon of plate tectonics, i.e. the continental drift of the plates which make up the Earth's mantle. As Statista's Katharina Buchholz shows in the chart ...

And Prices Are Headed Much Higher" People look at oil futures out the curve and think they contain information. But they don’t... There are too few fundamental traders left... Poster Comment:This article is behind their pay wall. What is a call to action? A call to action (CTA) is a prompt on a website that tells the user to take some specified action. A call to action is typically written as a command or action phrase, such as 'Sign Up' or 'Buy Now' and generally takes the form of a button or hyperlink.

The War of Terror of a Rogue Superpower: Cui Bono?

Everyone with a brain already knew the Empire did it. Now Seymour Hersh’s bombshell report not only details how Nord Stream 1 and 2 were attacked, but also names names: from the toxic Straussian neoliberal-con trio Sullivan, Blinken and Nuland all the way to the Teleprompter Reader-in-Chief. Arguably the most incandescent nugget in Hersh’s narrative is to point ultimate responsibility directly at the White House. The CIA, for its part, gets away with it. The whole report may be read as the framing of a scapegoat. A very fragile, shoddy scapegoat – what with those classified documents in the garage, the endless stares into the void, the cornucopia of incomprehensible ...

What Hersh Got Wrong

There’s something not-quite-right about Sy Hersh’s report on the destruction of Nord Stream 2. There are a number of inconsistencies in the piece that lead me to believe that Hersh was less interested in presenting ‘the unvarnished truth’ than relaying a version of events that advance a particular agenda. That is not to say that I don’t appreciate what the author has done. I do. In fact, I think it would be impossible to overstate the significance of a report that positively identifies the perpetrators of what-appears-to-be the biggest act of industrial terrorism in history. Hersh’s article has the potential to greatly undermine the credibility of the people ...

CDC Data confirms COVID Vaccination knocks up to 24 years off a Mans life

The long-term consequences of Covid-19 vaccination are now being realised… A year ago, doubly vaccinated Australians were 10.72x more likely to catch Omicron than the unvaxxed. Now they are 20x more likely and the triply or more vaxxed are 35x more likely, as the latest NSW Health stats show (see below). Meanwhile, the latest Cleveland Clinic Data and the latest US data analysed by Josh Stirling, founder of Insurance Collaboration to Save Livess and former #1 ranked Insurance Analyst, shows a really really disturbing trend. The damage to health caused by each vaccine dose does not lessen over time. It continues indefinitely. In fact, CDC All-Cause Mortality data show that each ...

A high-altitude object tracked over northern Canada has been shot down over the Yukon, officials said. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he ordered the takedown of "an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace." "Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object," he tweeted. Canadian Forces will now recover and analyze the wreckage, Trudeau said. Poster Comment:This whole balloon thing has become satire unto itself. As have progressives.

An Anglo-French row has erupted over a breakdown of a key £3 billion British aircraft carrier. Whats up with the 50 US nuclear bombs stored at the Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, right on the same fault line that killed more than 25,000 people?

Hey Biden! Everything under control, right? So Biden, do you still think the East Anatolian Fault is a safe place to store 50 nuclear weapons? Are you about to move them to another, safer place? Or do you think this is another ‘small’ risk to take for the radioactive peace on Earth… Because, as you know, this is not the last ‘Big One’ this region of Turkey will experience…

The US Department of State has been funding a "disinformation" tracking group through its Global Engagement Center (GEC), which reportedly works at demonetizing sites it accuses of disseminating "disinformation," - which are overwhelmingly conservative news outlets, the Washington Examiner reports. The Global Disinformation Index, a British organization with two affiliated U.S. nonprofit groups, is feeding blacklists to ad companies with the intent of defunding and shutting down websites peddling alleged "disinformation," the Washington Examiner reported. This same "disinformation" group has received $330,000 from two State Department-backed entities ...

Pepe Escobar: The Big Stiff - Russia-Iran Dump The Dollar And Bust US Sanctions

Authored by Pepe Escobar via The Cradle, News of Russian banks connecting to Iran’s financial messaging system strengthens the resistance against US-imposed sanctions on both countries and accelerates global de-dollarization. The agreement between the Central Banks of Russia and Iran formally signed on 29 January connecting their interbank transfer systems is a game-changer in more ways than one. Technically, from now on 52 Iranian banks already using SEPAM, Iran’s interbank telecom system, are connecting with 106 banks using SPFS, Russia’s equivalent to the western banking messaging system SWIFT. Less than a week before the deal, State Duma Chairman Vyachslav Volodin ...

Higher Infant Mortality Rates Linked to Higher Number of Vaccine Doses, New Study Confirms

A new peer-reviewed study found a positive statistical correlation between infant mortality rates (IMRs) and the number of vaccine doses received by babies — confirming findings made by the same researchers a decade ago. In “Reaffirming a Positive Correlation Between Number of Vaccine Doses and Infant Mortality Rates: A Response to Critics,” published Feb. 2 in Cureus, authors Gary S. Goldman, Ph.D., an independent computer scientist, and Neil Z. Miller, a medical researcher, examined this potential correlation. Their findings indicate a “positive correlation between the number of vaccine doses and IMRs is detectable in the most highly developed nations” — ...

Russia finds alternative to Siemens turbines

Iranian-designed parts will replace German equipment in hydropower plants after sanctions halted operations last year Russia has begun producing Iranian-designed parts to replace Siemens turbines in its hydropower plants after sanctions impeded the servicing of German-made equipment last year. MGT-70 gas turbine units are copies of Siemens hardware, developed by the Islamic Republic. The country attained a license for their assembly and localized production before a recent wave of anti-Iran sanctions took effect. Currently, Russia can domestically produce small and medium turbines, but devices with a large capacity of between 100MW and 120MW were produced at a Siemens assembly plant in ...

Sea Level Is Stable Around the World The Good News the Media Doesn't Want Us to Hear

We have been studying climate change and potentially associated sea level changes resulting from melting ice and warming oceans for a half century. In the 1970s our primary concern was global cooling and an advancing new ice age. Many believe that increasing quantities of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere could result in rising levels of the sea in general. The record does not show this to be true. There is no evidence whatever to support impending sea-level-rise catastrophe or the unnecessary expenditure of state or federal tax monies to solve a problem that does not exist. The National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has updated its coastal sea level tide gauge data ...

FLASHBACK - Obama lying about Osama bin Laden's death: Seymour Hersh
Post Date: 2023-02-10 14:58:03 by Horse

US investigative journalist Seymour Hersh says President Barack Obama’s narrative of the killing of former al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was false. In an article published on the London Review of Books website on Sunday, Hersh wrote that high-level lying “remains the modus operandi of US policy, along with secret prisons, drone attacks, Special Forces night raids, bypassing the chain of command, and cutting out those who might say no.” Citing a retired senior US intelligence official, the journalist explained that how the killing of bin Laden was the “high point of Obama’s first term, and a major factor in his re-election.” “The White House still ...

Wagner PMC announced today that they will stop recruiting men from prisons. They served 6 months in exchange for a pardon. They must have a reserve of experienced volunteers willing to serve. Maybe some men with expired contracts have offered to go back into service. Wagner forces are still leading attacks near Bakhmut. They have a force of 50,000 soldiers. The ex-prisoners only served in the infantry. Skilled positions were held by professional soldiers. An Australian officer in the Ukraine said Wagners have more modern equipment than most NATO armies. The Russians are nearly in a position to cut off supplies to several frontlines so tens of thousands of Ukraine and NATO soldiers will ...

Global markets dropped, US futures extended their slump into a third day and the Nasdaq 100 was on course for its first weekly loss of 2023, while Treasuries extended a selloff as wagers for more hawkish monetary policy mounted. Oil rose after Russia said it will cut output. Nasdaq futures were down 1.1% by 730 a.m. ET after the tech-heavy index lost 0.9% during the previous session, bringing this week’s declines to 1.5%. Nasdaq futs have broken below the support level of the rising channel since the start of the year. The tech benchmark is still up over 13% year-to-date, but expectations of interest rates staying higher for longer - at least for a few more days - after a blowout US ...
