German Reporter Conned Do-Gooders Into Giving Him Money for Non-Existent Syrian Orphans
Post Date: 2018-12-23 15:08:54 by Ada

Diversity Macht Frei German reporter Claas Relotius (of the “prestigious” Der Spiegel magazine) conned the world by telling the Establishment what it wanted to hear. He won all the journalistic accolades by inventing stories and details intended to instil guilt into white people about their wish to defend their own existence. For example, he wrote a caricature portrait of an American town filled with bigoted, Trump-supporting hicks. But the full extent of Relotius’s deception hasn’t yet been grasped. Der Spiegel is now systematically trying to re-check details of his stories across the years. This verification process has now brought to light actual criminality from ...

Rusty museum antiques or the Star War's Death Star? Remember what happened when the Admiral Kuznetsov carrier sailed around Europe to reach the eastern Mediterranean? NATO leaders were making fun of the black smoke coming out of the ship’s engine while at the same time shadowing the Kuznetsov as if it was the Death Star from the Star Wars series and as if its final goal was to obliterate the British Isles. Frankly, this is nothing new. Even during the Cold War, western propagandists liked to dismiss all Soviet weapons systems as junk while at the same time declaring that they were the terrifying weapons of a Mordor-like Evil Empire set to destroy the entire Free World. This time ...

US Mideast Policy Debate Assured With Trump's Syria Move Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, disagrees with President Donald Trump's sudden decision to pull all 2,000 U.S. troops out of Syria. He spoke during a news conference at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. on Thurs. Dec. 20, 2018. (J. Scott Applewhite/AP) By Patrick Buchanan Friday, 21 December 2018 11:53 AM "We have defeated ISIS in Syria, my only reason for being there," wrote President Donald Trump, as he ordered the withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Syria, stunning the U.S. foreign policy establishment. PressTV... The US State Department's senior envoy to the so-called anti-Daesh coalition, Brett McGurk, has resigned over President Donald Trump's decision to pull troops out of Syria. McGurk submitted his resignation on Friday, a US State Department official said on Saturday, adding that the resignation will be effective on Dec. 31. A person familiar with the matter said McGurk has quit because he is strongly opposed to Trump's troops withdrawal from Syria. PressTV-Trump signals US troop withdrawal from Syria Trump has declared victory against Daesh terrorists in Syria as reports suggest that he is planning to pull out American troops from the country. Trump announced his ...

US spy chief accuses Russia, Iran, China of attempted midterm poll meddling

The top US intelligence official has accused Russia, China and Iran of running election meddling campaign during American mid-term polls last November in an official report to the White House but insisted that no election systems were compromised. “Russia and other foreign countries, including China and Iran, conducted influence activities and messaging campaigns targeted at the United States to promote their strategic interests” during the 2018 midterm elections, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Dan Coats wrote in a report to the White House unveiled late Friday. US President Donald Trump had ordered Coats’s office – under executive order 13848 -- to conduct a ...

Trump Pulls Fast One Pulling Out of Syria

I’ve been hard on President Trump recently. He’s deserved it. But, his decision to announce without any prearranged warning a complete pullout of all U.S. forces in Syria is something I can unreservedly applaud. Whether he actually goes through with it or not is another story. But even just his tweaking the D.C. establishment on this issue is enough for at least a golf clap. Nothing unites D.C. like the start of a new war or the threat of ending an old one. And apparently Trump blind-sided nearly everyone on this. From the our NATO allies like France and the U.K. to his outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, all of them found out when Trump took the bully pulpit and ...

Outgoing Defense Secretary Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis was famous for quipping, “It’s fun to shoot some people.” It remains a supreme irony that Mattis was widely considered the only “adult in the room” in the Trump administration. Compared to whom? John Bolton, the rabid neocon serving as national security adviser? That would be the epitome of “condemning with faint praise.” With his ramrod-straight image, not to mention his warrior/scholar reputation extolled in the media, Mattis was able to disguise the reality that he was, as Col. Andrew Bacevich put it on Democracy Now! this morning, “totally unimaginative.” Meaning that Mattis ...

Kurds to Free Thousands of ISIL Terrorists after US Withdrawal from Syria

A number of military experts believe that this decision was made in reaction to the US betrayal of the SDF and withdrawal of American forces from Syria following an agreement with Turkey. US President Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday that he will withdraw the American forces from Syria after what he called victory against the ISIL and inflicting heavy defeat on the terrorist group. Despite the US claims, the ISIL still occupies some regions in Eastern Euphrates, including the towns of al-Souseh, al-Sha'afeh and al-Baqouz as well as the villages of al-Shajleh, al-Safafiyeh, al-Budran, Albu Khater, Abu Hassan and al-Morashedeh in Eastern Deir Ezzur.

‘Organ traders, terrorists & looters’: Evidence against Syrian White Helmets presented at UN

The ‘White Helmets’ are not a rescue group but an extension of jihadist militants, and should be designated a terrorist organization, Russia’s envoy to the UN argued at the presentation of evidence into the group’s wrongdoing. Praised in the West as humanitarian rescue volunteers, in reality the ‘White Helmets’ work with Islamist militants in Syria, harvest organs from the victims they pretend to be “rescuing,” stage false chemical weapons and other attacks for cameras, and loot the bodies and homes of Syrians killed and injured in the war, according to Maxim Grigoriev, director of the Russia-based Foundation for the Study of Democracy.

Mattis’s Exit Takes Leash Off Trump’s ‘America First’ Doctrine

For two years, the world counted on leaders like Jim Mattis to hold firm against President Donald Trump’s “America First” doctrine. Now that last line of defense is gone. Mattis’s abrupt resignation as defense secretary and Trump’s rapid-fire moves to reshape the U.S. military footprint abroad are provoking fears that there’s no one left to restrain the president’s most combative and isolationist impulses.

A Catholic priest who had more than 2,000 photos and videos of child pornography on his computer and phone has been sentenced to 25 years in prison. Thomas Faucher, a well-known priest in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Boise, will not be eligible for parole and must register as a sex offender. Faucher, 73, pleaded guilty to five felony crimes after investigators discovered thousands of disturbing images and chats about raping and murdering young boys. He pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution of sexually exploitative material, two counts of possession of sexually exploitative materials, and one count of drug possession.

The fact that George W Bush has given Michelle Obama two pieces of candy is once again making headlines in mainstream outlets like Time, The Hill, and Newsweek. He has not given her any new pieces of candy since the last time he did so at his father’s funeral. He also has not ceased to be the man who facilitated the murder of a million Iraqis and inflicted a whole new level of military expansionism and Orwellian surveillance upon our world. As near as I can tell, the only reason this story is once again making headlines is because Michelle Obama and the mainstream media have decided to bring it up again. “He has the presence of mind and the sense of humor to bring me a mint, ...

A scrappy libertarian-conservative group forged a path and opposed H.W. Bush's signature conflict. The recent veneration of George H.W. Bush has been wonderfully uplifting, especially as it recalled his cautious use of persuasion and honest argument. Peggy Noonan, Ronald Reagan’s former speechwriter, beautifully described Bush’s funeral in the Wall Street Journal as reminding us of our dignity and “re-summoning our mystique.” The event, Noonan said, harkened back to when America was respected and admired, generous and “expected to do good.” President Bush, she noted, had presided over the collapse of the Soviet Union diplomatically and without ...

Parliamentary Official: US Forced to Withdraw from Syria after Failure in Plots

TEHRAN (FNA)- Secretary of the Syrian Parliament Khaled al-Abboud underlined that Washington has lost all its instruments to pressure Damascus, adding that failure of the US plots forced the country to leave Syria. Abboud was quoted as saying by the Arabic-language service of Sputnik news agency on Thursday that the US decision to retreat from Syria was the result of its major defeat in the region, specially in plots against Damascus. He added that Syria is the key to regional stability, noting that the US has lost all instruments used against Damascus. Abboud said that Washington had no other option but to declare withdrawal from Syria after loosing all its keys and tools to attain ...

Glenn Greenwald on Sucker Journalists—and Why There’s No Silver Bullet Coming for Trump

Glenn Greenwald brought The Guardian the biggest scoop of the Obama years when he reported on U.S. agencies collecting metadata on its citizens—turning whistleblower Edward Snowden into a household name, while defining the national conversation surrounding government surveillance. But in the Trump era, the national security wonk’s relationship with The Guardian is… tenuous, at best. “The Guardian’s happy to be used,” Greenwald told Observer during an interview at The Intercept’s New York offices. Timeline of the name "Palestine"

This article presents a list of notable historical references to the name Palestine as a place name in the Middle East throughout the history of the region, including its cognates such as "Filastin" and "Palaestina". The term "Peleset" (transliterated from hieroglyphs as P-r-s-t) is found in five inscriptions referring to a neighboring people or land starting from circa 1150 BC during the Twentieth Dynasty of Egypt. The first known mention is at the temple at Medinet Habu which refers to the Peleset among those who fought with Egypt in Ramesses III's reign,[2][3] and the last known is 300 years later on Padiiset's Statue. The Assyrians called the ...
