PMF... From Japan to Sweden, and Oman to Texas, a global heat wave is setting records, igniting wildfires, and killing dozens all across the world this week. The south-central region is home to the highest temperatures in the U.S. this week, with nearly 35 million people living under excessive heat warnings issued by the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to be in the triple digits across Texas this weekend, marking the most severe heat wave in the state since 2011. The Texas heat has already led to record-breaking days for the Texas power grid twice this week. Things arent any better elsewhere in the region, with heat indexes in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana reaching ...

An Introduction to Protracted Desperation A question that never ceases to fascinate is that of how life originated, and how and why it has progressed as it seems to have. The official story and de rigueur explanation is that that life came about through spontaneous generation from seawater. Believing this is the mark of an Advanced Person, whether one has the slightest knowledge of the matter. In academia researchers have been fired and careers ruined for questioning it. If you doubt that scientists can be ideological herd animals, as petty, intolerant, vindictive, and backstabbing as professors, read Heretic, by the PhD biotechnologist and biochemist Matti Leisola, who fell on the wrong ...

TEHRAN (FNA)- Researchers have conducted one of the largest surveys of people's first memories, finding that nearly 40 per cent of people had a first memory which is fictional. Current research indicates that people's earliest memories date from around three to three-and-a-half years of age. However, the study from researchers at City, University of London, the University of Bradford and Nottingham Trent University found that 38.6 per cent of a survey of 6,641 people claimed to have memories from two or younger, with 893 people claiming memories from one or younger. This was particularly prevalent among middle-aged and older adults. To investigate people's first memories the ...

Russia Military Tech Turns Troops, Tanks 'Invisible' Tom O'Connor 2 hrs ago © Provided by IBT Media One of Russia's major weapons producers has revealed a new military-grade coating capable of copying the colors of the surrounding environment. Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Russian state corporation Rostec, said Tuesday that his company has successfully developed a combat helmet covered in the advanced material, making it invisible to the human eye. The project, he claimed, could also be used to mask troops and tanks entirely. "We are constantly improving the equipment of servicemen. The main goal is to make the soldier more protected, to strengthen his technical ...

TEHRAN (FNA)- Star-shaped gold nanoparticles, coated with a semiconductor, can produce hydrogen from water over four times more efficiently than other methods - opening the door to improved storage of solar energy and other advances that could boost renewable energy use and combat climate change, according to researchers. "Instead of using ultraviolet light, which is the standard practice, we leveraged the energy of visible and infrared light to excite electrons in gold nanoparticles," said Laura Fabris, associate professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the School of Engineering who led the work with Fuat Celik, assistant professor in the Department ...

Solar Minimum has Arrived 03.06.06 Where have all the sunspots gone? Solar minimum has arrived. Every year in February, the students of Mrs. Phillips's 5th grade class in Bishop, California, celebrate Galileo's birthday (Feb. 15th) by repeating one of his discoveries. They prove that the sun spins. It's simple. Step 1: Look at the sun. Galileo did this using a primitive telescope; Mrs. Phillips's students use the internet. Step 2: Sketch the sunspots. Step 3: Repeat daily. After only a few days, it's obvious that the sunspots are moving and sun is spinning, performing one complete turn every 27 days. This procedure worked fine in 1610. But in 2006, "we had a ...

This is a must-watch video for all who seek the mysterious lost knowledge which allowed humans to raise unbelievably massive stone monuments with such baffling precision and ease. Ed Nightingale began his research by using a reverse engineering technique, re-drawing and measuring what is actually constructed while comparing the Template model with multiple accurate satellite images and official survey data of the Giza plateau. What is presented is not theoretical; it is reproducible using the scientific method. This will explain why Giza’s pyramids and Sphinx were created. These ancient giant structures that have stood in brooding silence for a score of millennia may at long last ...

First we go once again back to the creation story of Mesopotamia The SUMERIANS always described their Gods as planets starting with Pluto, then Neptune, Uranus, etc., as if they were seeing the planets from a heavenly body (or spacecraft ?) that was entering our solar system from the outside. The Sumerian seal (below), with the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, Unknown ( about size of Uranus/Neptune), Jupiter, Saturn, Indeterminate (about size of Mercury), Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. The SUMERIANS also mentioned a "twelfth" planet called "NIBIRU", one whose elliptical orbit brought it close to Earth for a brief period about every 3,600 years. The Sumerians and ...

Magnetic Skyrmions: Not Only Ones of Their Class
Post Date: 2018-07-03 03:54:16 by Tatarewicz

TEHRAN (FNA)- Tiny magnetic vortex structures, so-called skyrmions, have been researched intensively for some time for future energy-efficient space-saving data storage devices. Scientists have now discovered another class of particle-like magnetic object that could take the development of data storage devices a significant step forward. If skyrmions are used to encode the number ''1'', then the new objects could be used to encode the number ''0''. These objects, which are referred to as "chiral magnetic bobbers," are three-dimensional magnetic structures that appear near the surfaces of certain alloys. "For a long time, the unique object ...

Gravitational waves and the slow pace of scientific revolutions

ARS T... For years, people weren't sure if gravitational wave were a necessary product of relativity. LIGO's detection of gravitational waves came almost exactly a century after Einstein had formulated his general theory of relativity and an ensuing paper mathematically describing the possibility of gravitational waves. Or at least that's the story as it was presented to the public (including by yours truly). And in some ways, it's even true. But the reality of how relativity progressed to the point where people accepted that gravitational waves are likely to exist and could possibly be detected is considerably more complicated than the simple narrative described above. In ...

200,000 Year Old Ancient Levitation Technology That Defies the Laws of Physics

Unfortunately, science has still not been able to figure out how to levitate larger heavier objects. Yet, history suggests the Ancient Civilizations might have already cracked this secret in their building of the pyramids and other megalithic monuments. Did they have some advanced form of sound levitation to move thousand ton stones—a task that present day builders admit would be difficult even with the use of modern cranes? In many parts of the world there are enormous monoliths that even in this brilliant era of technology no advanced crane could possible raise. Our modern society is proud of its technological and scientific achievements, but we are forced to admit that our ...

We may have answered the Fermi Paradox: We are alone in the universe

ET's not here. Alien life should be everywhere. The sheer abundance of stars in the universe (the number far outstrips the total number of grains of sand on every beach on Earth) suggests that, somewhere, an intelligent lifeform should be warming itself on a distant planet. Even if life evolves rarely, ET should be phoning. Yet, by all appearances, humanity seems to be flying solo in our galaxy, and perhaps the universe. Many solutions have been proposed to solve this riddle, known as the Fermi Paradox. The aliens are hiding. They’ve entered suspended animation until more propitious conditions arise. A Great Filter makes the leap from “life “to “intelligent ...
