The Vaccine Karens
Post Date: 2021-08-07 11:29:31 by Ada

If I weren’t already staunchly pro-vaccination, the vaccine zealots would turn me against the COVID shot. The proof that they’re practicing religion and not science is their refusal to acknowledge the great heaping hunks of immunity a person gets from natural infection. Obviously, you don’t want to contract COVID just to get all that boffo immunity, but lots of people have already been infected, so why can’t we count them the same as vaccinated? The current research — and that’s all we have for the vaccines, too — indicates that natural immunity is not as good as vaccine immunity — it’s better! Study after study keeps finding that the ...

Criticizing Fauci and Government Scientists Should be a Federal Hate Crime, Scientific Paper Says
Post Date: 2021-08-05 09:07:13 by Ada

Anthony Fauci is not simply the ruler of the universe and the ultimate decider of all things in the realm of men – he is also the true embodiment of Science itself. This means that he is capable of shaping the form of reality with his words. Criticizing any sentence that Fauci speaks – or even a part of it – is beyond any religious heresy and entering into the realm of pure evil, just like cannibalism and Holocaust denial. The College Fix: Dr. Peter Hotez, a professor of pediatrics and molecular virology at Baylor College of Medicine, is arguing that federal hate-crime protections may need to be extended to Dr. Anthony Fauci and other scientists “targeted by ...

Already tethered to the digital by devices that used to be novelties, we face the prospect of a vaccine-enabled "Paper's please!" future. In a striking passage near the beginning of his contribution to the Penguin History of the Church, R.W. Southern writes: The identification of the church with the whole of organized society is the fundamental feature which distinguishes the Middle Ages from earlier and later periods of history. At its widest limits it is a feature of European history from the fourth to the eighteenth century—from Constantine to Voltaire. In theory, during the whole of this period only orthodox and obedient believers could enjoy the full rights of ...

Poster Comment:It'd be easier to rake the lock. I learned how to rake locks on Master padlocks with homemade tools. I got lucky today at Menards. I need to re-lock my house. I found two sets of KwikSet locks and dead bolts (4 sets total) by sorting through all they had and finding several pairs of keyed alike sets. God love KwikSet, they always send out pairs of a key code (listed on the package). One of the two pairs I found had some really wicked bidding on the keys (a lot of high cut and low cuts on the keys). They almost look like a challenge lock. They'll be impossible to rake, and a really difficult single pin pick. The bidding is very severe to the point that they might be ...

Solar Cells: Layer Of Three Crystals Produces A Thousand Times More Power
Post Date: 2021-08-02 08:02:34 by Horse

The photovoltaic effect of ferroelectric crystals can be increased by a factor of 1,000 if three different materials are arranged periodically in a lattice. This has been revealed in a study by researchers at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU). They achieved this by creating crystalline layers of barium titanate, strontium titanate and calcium titanate which they alternately placed on top of one another. Their findings, which could significantly increase the efficiency of solar cells, were published in the journal Science Advances. Most solar cells are currently silicon based; however, their efficiency is limited. This has prompted researchers to examine new materials, such ...

Scientists Warn That Within 6 Months Humanity Will Run Out Of Things To Call Racist
Post Date: 2021-07-31 10:02:07 by Ada

ATLANTA, GA—Calling brand new things racist—that no one would ever have thought could be racist—is fun, and everyone loves it. But as each new day people breathlessly inform us of the racist history of things like crossword puzzles and punctuality, scientists are warning of an impending catastrophe. “At this current rate of coming up with new things that are racist,” warned racism scientist Frank Greene, “we’ll run out of new things to call racist by the end of this year.” Anti-racism activists met this news with both fear and denial. “Running out of new things to call racist would be devastating,” said activist Brooke Snyder. “I ...

Total kook freakout is back on the menu, boys! Looks like the vaxx didn’t do anything! We’ve got a new important report from Sage – called “The Longterm Evolution of SARS-CoV-2” – giving us the details on the next phase of this hoax. RT: A British government science panel has claimed that a coronavirus variant with a 35% fatality rate – akin to that seen in the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) – could emerge, and that vaccine booster doses may be needed. A report issued on Friday by the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) looked at a series of hypothetical scenarios related to Covid-19 variants, finding it a “realistic ...

The F-35 Continues to Amaze and Astound in Its Ability to Be Everything Except a Functioning Airplane

Close to 15 percent of the planes are reportedly without engines, which are considered by most experts to be vital to powered flight. It’s been a while since we checked in on our old friend, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, a.k.a. The Flying Swiss Army knife, a.k.a. The Money Pit in the Sky. This undying tribute to what Barney Frank used to call “military Keynesianism” continues to amaze and astound in its ability to do everything except be a proper airplane. From Air Force Magazine: Speaking before the House Armed Services subcommittee on tactical air and land forces, acting Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Darlene Costello ...

Su-75 "Checkmate" The past week has been quite intense in Russia – lots of interesting developments took place, and today I will mention three: Putin wrote a very interesting essay on the history of Russia and the Ukraine, which he followed up with a very interesting interview. Russia just concluded final tests for truly formidable weapons systems like the S-500 and the Mach 8 hypersonic missile Zircon. In its yearly aviation salon MAKS, Russia has just presented a 5th generation, single engine light multi-functional fighter the Su-75 “Checkmate” These are all truly huge developments for Russia which we need to look into separately. Putin’s history of ...

Natural gas companies were paid to turn off power during Texas winter storm: report
Post Date: 2021-07-15 21:47:14 by Dakmar

The February winter storm that nearly brought the Texas electricity grid to its knees likely stressed the state’s natural gas infrastructure “more than any time in history,” according to the authors of a new UT Austin report analyzing the power outages and their financial implications. The report includes previously undisclosed data about how the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, the grid’s manager, responded to the unfolding crisis, which led to widespread outages and hundreds of deaths statewide. The report was released just before ERCOT announced its own “roadmap” of 60 proposals to improve the grid.“This isn’t the only time natural gas has ...

and turned them into sentences on a computer screen in medical first. Researchers have tapped the brain waves of a paralyzed man unable to speak and turned what he intended to say into sentences in a medical first. The device, created by a team at the University of California, San Francisco, analyzes brain waves to decode what a patient is trying to say and then displays the text on a computer screen. It will take years of additional research but the study results, reported Wednesday, mark an important step toward one day restoring more natural communication for people who can't speak because of injury or illness.

Soul-Searching Science

I love scientists but they will kill us all, said Jon Stewart on The Late Show with Steven Colbert . Science eased our suffering due to a pandemic that was most likely caused by science, he told the audience. (Here you can find an acerbic response to the show on the Unz Review) Is it true? Do science and the scientists save us or kill us? How far can we trust them? It has become a relevant question for now they are not satisfied to stay in their labs but rather aspire to govern us as Anthony Fauci and his ilk do. This aspiration emerges from an Open Letter by Nobel Prize laureates and other dignitaries who demand that we cede to them the planetary stewardship the Church had, or claimed ...

Dodge, an American brand of automobiles and a division of Stellantis, used its time during Stellantis' EV Day to announce the world's first electric muscle car will hit the streets in 2024. Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis was featured in a 5 min video, talking about the company's multi-decade muscle-car heritage. He said the company must adapt to the changing times as millennials become a more significant part of the overall US population with more spending power, adding this generation embraces electric cars the most. With that being said, Kuniskis revealed that Dodge has plans to sell the world's first electric muscle car in 2024. He said, "Tear Up the Streets … Not the ...

It's not very plausible that neo-Nazis are going to take over the world, but then again, I didn't even see the communist invasion of this country coming. Anyway some neat tech stuff in there. Not too likely that cell phones would be working very well in a nuclear blast area. It's interesting to ponder how President Pampers would react to a similar situation.
