I continue to suspect that the Ebola outbreak in western Africa may have been the result of U.S. military biowarfare research gone awry. As I previously reported: The epicentre of the current Ebola epidemic is the Kenema Government Hospital in Sierra Leone. BeforeItIsNews claims the hospital houses a US a biosecurity level 2 bioweapons research lab. That claim is unconfirmed, however, this we do know. Analysis of clinical samples from suspected Lassa fever cases in Sierra Leone showed that about two-thirds of the patients had been exposed to other emerging diseases, and nearly nine percent tested positive for Ebola virus. The findings, published in this months edition of Emerging ...

Test Yourself: What Adult Needs What Vaccine? Medscape... LONDON (Reuters) - Expectations are building for a new heart failure drug from Novartis viewed as a likely multibillion-dollar seller, with two surveys of cardiologists published on Tuesday highlighting its potential. A large clinical trial with LCZ696 was stopped early in March because the benefit to patients was overwhelmingly positive. Just how good the drug was will be disclosed at a medical meeting in Spain at the end of this month. The size of the benefit is critical in determining how widely LCZ696 might be used to treat millions of patients with chronic heart failure. LCZ696, a twice a day pill for heart failure, is a ...

Twenty-one questions about Ebola: government propaganda, medical corruption and bioweapons experiments Tuesday, August 05, 2014 by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger (NaturalNews) Something's fishy about the official stories we're being told on Ebola. Things don't add up, which is why I'm posing these twenty-one important questions we should all be considering: #1) How can U.S. health authorities claim there is zero risk from Ebola patients being treated in U.S. hospitals when those same hospitals can't control superbug infections? "Many hospitals are poorly prepared to contain any pathogen. Thats why at least 75,000 people a year die from hospital infections. ...

A frozen vial of a deadly virus is missing from a bioterror lab in Texas. The Houston Chronicle reports officials at the Galveston National Laboratory say the vial may have been accidentally destroyed during routine cleaning, but they're not sure. The virus, called Guanarito, is from Venezuela and it's a serious one. It causes Ebola-like symptoms, and there's no treatment. The lab says it's highly unlikely it was stolen. Artery plaque from bad air Post Date: 2014-08-05 21:34:17 by Tatarewicz

The air you breathe every day may be threatening the health of your heart, leading to the formation of plaque that blocks arteries. Researchers have found that when you inhale polluted air, your immune system responds by setting off an inflammatory process that leads to artery blockages threatening the heart. By simply breathing cleaner air, you may be able to lower your risk of this dangerous development. Scientists at Ohio State University have found that when you are continually exposed to very fine particulate matter in polluted air, your body responds by allowing white blood cells to travel out of bone marrow and enter the bloodstream. Consequently, these white blood cells collect in ...

The coming single-payer health insurance system Posted by: Jon Dougherty August 4, 2014 Submit to reddit Share By Keven Card A federal appeals court handed down a ruling recently that many news outlets are calling a blow to Obamacare. Despite an IRS rule to the contrary, the Affordable Care Act, the court said, specifically says that subsidies can only be provided to enrollees who purchase health insurance coverage through exchanges established by the states, not the federal government. The Blaze/AP reports the D.C. Circuit Courts 2-1 decision could mean health insurance premium increases for more than half the 8 million Americans who have purchased ...

Natural brain boosting compounds Tuesday, August 05, 2014 by: Dr. David Jockers (NaturalNews) Low energy, poor memory and brain fog are common day epidemics. Lowered cognitive function results in lowered working efficiency, relationship disputes and significantly reduced quality of life. Certain compounds, such as CoQ10, borage oil and phosphatydlcholine have the potential to boost brain function naturally. The brain is extremely sensitive to free radical damage, poor circulation and poor blood sugar balance. Individuals with chronic inflammatory stress, arterial restriction and blood sugar imbalances will have trouble with memory, cognitive function and brain fog. The brain depends ...

Ebola 'dirty bomb' the next big fear: are large cities vulnerable to biological attack? Tuesday, August 05, 2014 by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger (NaturalNews) The possibility of Ebola being harvested by would-be terrorists and used as a bioweapon in a large city is now at the front of the minds of many. Dr. Peter D. Walsh of the University of Cambridge (6) is publicly raising the alarm over the same warning I issued last week here on Natural News when I wrote, "Ebola is a perfect bioweapon. Because of its ability to survive storage and still function many days, weeks or years later, it could be very easily harvested from infected victims and then preserved using nothing ...

US News When Anna McCollister-Slipp was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 1985, she was in a constant battle with the unknown. Her blood glucose levels could fluctuate dramatically -- and unpredictably -- due to stress, lack of sleep, even being stuck in traffic. These days, McCollister-Slipp feels more in control. She wears an insulin pump that can be adjusted quickly to compensate for eating or exercise, a continuous glucose monitor with a sensor embedded in her abdomen so she can see immediately what stressors cause her readings to jump, a standard glucose meter that she uses to take readings seven times a day, and a Bluetooth-enabled blood pressure monitor. Animal study has indicated that the active ingredient in chili peppers known as capsaicin plays significant role in reducing the risk of developing intestinal tumors. Researchers at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine found that capsaicin produces chronic activation of a receptor on cells lining the intestines. The occurred phenomenon ultimately triggers a reaction at the tissue that averts the risk of colorectal tumors, reported at the Journal of Clinical Investigation. The receptor, called TRPV1, was originally discovered in sensory neurons, where it acts as a sentinel for heat, acidity and spicy chemicals in the environment. The cancer risk impact ...

ScienceDaily... Many of the genes regulating the inflammation and immune response of the body are also associated with low HDL-cholesterol levels in the circulation, tells the recent study conducted at the University of Helsinki, Finland. The research also discovered that the quality of HDL particle can vary considerably. Cholesterol is a major risk factor for heart disease. Elevated LDL-cholesterol, commonly known as the 'bad cholesterol,' is associated with the increased risk of heart disease while HDL-cholesterol, the 'good cholesterol', is associated with decreased risk. During the past few years, approximately 40 regions in the genome have been associated with plasma ...

What do we do with inconvenient evidence? Imagine studying a seemingly absurd practice that is used to an alarming extent by those who believe in it despite the lack of evidence and finding that the intervention improves outcomes. And imagine that the people conducting that trial are famous scientists with impeccable credentials who have extensive experience with this type of investigation. Imagine that the practice is so out of the mainstream that the investigators cannot even posit how the treatment could reduce patient risk? We live in a world of evidence-based medicine, where we are urged to base our medical recommendations and decisions on clinical studies. We base our ...

With two infected health care workers heading to to United States and the CDC recently announcing the establishment of 20 Ebola Quarantine stations, it is time for America to start looking at the facts. President Obama took the time to sign an executive order before leaving for vacation and it seems that the government is preparing for the possibility that there could be an Ebola outbreak in America. In light of that, I think it is time to look at some facts that are not generally reported. Though it is true that Ebola is not traditionally considered a classic airborne disease, there are reasons to doubt that narrative. Today I want to share some scientific research that is not likely to ...

ScienceDaily... While developing a new cancer drug, researchers at The Wistar Institute discovered that mice lacking a specific protein live longer lives with fewer age-related illnesses. The mice, which lack the TRAP-1 protein, demonstrated less age-related tissue degeneration, obesity, and spontaneous tumor formation when compared to normal mice. Their findings could change how scientists view the metabolic networks within cells. In healthy cells, TRAP-1 is an important regulator of metabolism and has been shown to regulate energy production in mitochondria, organelles that generate chemically useful energy for the cell. In the mitochondria of cancer cells, TRAP-1 is universally ...
