WASHINGTON Mississippi's still king of cellulite, but an ominous tide is rolling toward the Medicare doctors in neighboring Alabama: obese baby boomers. It's time for the nation's annual obesity rankings and, outside of fairly lean Colorado, there's little good news. In 31 states, more than one in four adults are obese, says a new report from the Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. And obesity rates among adults rose in 23 states over the past year, and no state experienced a significant decline. "The obesity epidemic clearly goes beyond being an individual problem," said Jeff Levi, executive director of the Trust, a ...

It would make sense that with all the harmful chemicals put into traditional cigarettes that the government would be absoluetly against tabacco companies adding anything more to your cancer causing cigarettes. How surprised would you be to find out that the governments at the state level in every single state in the US have filed or passedlegislation that would make it mandatory for cigarettes to have an additional chemical added to cigarettes. Many have actually had the legislation for this chemical already in effect. This also includes all of Canada who use the New York standard requiring this chemical in all cigarettes sold in the country. Gun Control: What Is the Agenda? Post Date: 2009-06-26 06:10:06 by Ada

Some years or decades ago I researched and reported on the Sullivan Act, one of Americas first gun control laws. New York state senator Timothy Sullivan, a corrupt Tammany Hall politician, represented New Yorks Red Hook district. Commercial travelers passing through the district would be relieved of their valuables by armed robbers. In order to protect themselves and their property, travelers armed themselves. This raised the risk of, and reduced the profit from, robbery. Sullivans outlaw constituents demanded that Sullivan introduce a law that would prohibit concealed carry of pistols, blackjacks, and daggers, thus reducing the risk to robbers from armed victims. The ...

I found the following at another board. This is not my work. At first, I believed the video did depict a real death. Now, I realize its fake. Notice that the girl helped lower herself to the ground with her left hand. Shes helping to support herself AFTER being shot in the heart? NO WAY! A person shot in the heart badly enough to cause death withing two minutes (people have survived a gunshot wound to the heart) CANNOT help lower themselves to the ground. Also, you can clearly see the girls left hand move up to her face then back down again AFTER shes supposed to be unconscious. Where are the blood streaks caused from dragged ...

Nate Oldham, Kiplyn Davis, Murder and Narcotics in Utah County! Simply stated. I ran afoul of the cult in Utah County Utah as a result of a business disagreement with one of their members. I found out that this individual was "connected" with a high position in the illuminatti. The organization has been warring with me ever since (Since 2002). For some reason, God will not allow them to take my life, or those of my family and thus the war continues. Utah is the heart of Mormonism and I am one. I learned of the conspiracy and traced it to some of Utah's more dominant political leaders who were doing business with drug lords etc. I don't know how far I can take this ...

Andrew Wakefield (born 1957 in the United Kingdom) is a Canadian trained surgeon and the lead author of a controversial 1998 research study, published in The Lancet, which reported bowel symptoms in a prospective case series of twelve consecutive vaccinated children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities, and alleged a possible connection with the MMR vaccination.[1] Citing safety concerns, in a press conference held in conjunction with the release of the report, Wakefield recommended separating the components of the injections by at least a year. Given the widespread media coverage of Wakefield's claims, his recommendation was deemed responsible for a decrease ...

POLSON: Therapy dogs can be a comfort for seniors and those recovering from illnesses and injuries. So how about therapy chickens? Jana Clairmont of Polson, Montana, calls her therapy birds - a white rooster and Cornish game hen Fowl Play. She took them to visit residents at Polson Health and Rehabilitation Center in northeast Montana, the Missoulian newspaper reported. Many seniors were raised on farms, Clairmont says, and holding a chicken can bring back memories. As one man stroked the rooster, Alex, the bird stretched out his neck and rested it across the man's forearm, like a puppy. The board of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America on Friday approved the 10-year agreement which would affect those Medicare patients who have a gap in their prescription drug coverage, the newspaper reported. Studies: What does UN have to show for 2 decades, $22 billion invested in health? Not much In the last two decades, the world has spent more than $20 billion trying to save people from death and disease in poor countries. Millions of people are now protected against diseases like yellow fever, sleeping under anti-malaria bed nets and taking AIDS drugs. But there isn't much proof that pricey programs led by the United Nations and its partners are responsible, according to two studies published Friday in the medical journal, Lancet. Trying to show health campaigns actually saved lives is "a very difficult scientific dilemma," said Tim Evans, a senior World Health ...

The results come two days after President Obama delivered a major speech to the American Medical Association, pitching his reform agenda. The AMA, an ...

Two years ago, Chuck Jones of Yardley had high cholesterol, but his medicine caused severe leg cramps that routinely ruined his sleep. Since participating in a clinical trial of red yeast rice, a supplement taken in China for centuries, Jones has gotten his cholesterol under control. And within a week of starting the rice, "the pain was gone," the 59-year-old chemist said. For Jones and most other "statin-intolerant" patients, red yeast rice combined with a heart-healthy diet and exercise helped lower bad "LDL" cholesterol, concludes a small study published today in the Annals of Internal Medicine. Cholesterol is a fatlike substance that the body needs and ...
