Did Jesus Pay For Our Sins In Hell?
Post Date: 2005-12-10 21:21:55 by A K A Stone

There is a false teaching among Word Faith teachers that Jesus did not pay for our sins on the cross. Some actually teach that when the blood of Jesus poured out on the cross that it did not atone for our sins. They claim that Jesus had to suffer in our place in hell in order to finish the redemption. Here are some of their quotes: "Do you think that the punishment for our sin was to die on a cross? If that were the case, the two thieves could have paid your price. No, the punishment was to go into hell itself and to serve time in hell separated from God Satan and all the demons of hell thought that they had Him bound and they threw a net over Jesus and they dragged Him down to the ...

Voice of the White House December 9, 2005 TBR News – December 9, 2005 Our source is on a short vacation. We are replacing his column with an interesting story that relates directly to his usual subjects: Voice Of God Revealed To Be Cheney On Intercom December 7, 2005 WASHINGTON, DC—Telephone logs recorded by the National Security Agency and obtained by Congress as part of an ongoing investigation suggest that the vice president may have used the Oval Office intercom system to address President Bush at crucial moments, giving categorical directives in a voice the president believed to be that of God. While journalists and presidential historians had long noted Bush's deep ...

The Rapture?

The Rapture? We have not written on the rapture before, although we have often spoken on the subject. But recently we have met many people who do not understand how to teach others concerning this great subject. Controversy surrounds the doctrine. Fellowship is broken based on the doctrine. There are fractures within those who do believe in the rapture based on whether the rapture is pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation or post-tribulation. That particular concept is based on the thought that there is a tribulation; however, there are some who do not believe in such. Ah, the rapture is a theology that stirs the heart of many. Someone is right, and most are wrong.Of the Protestant churches in the ...

Gibson To Make Shoah Series By Zeddy Lawrence - Wednesday 7th of December 2005 Mel Gibson found himself courting controversy once again this week as it emerged the Oscar winner was working on a television series about the Shoah. The star's 2004 movie, The Passion of the Christ, was slated as anti-Semitic. Based on the memoirs of Flory Van Beek – a Dutch Jew hidden by her neighbours from the Nazis – the project has been commissioned by American television network ABC. The series will be made by the Braveheart director’s production company, but he is not expected to appear in it, and it has not yet been confirmed how much involvement he will actually have in producing it. ...

Fears Over Mel Gibson's Holocaust Film

Fears over Mel Gibson's Holocaust film By Hugh Davies Mel Gibson, whose film The Passion of the Christ was attacked by Jewish leaders as anti-Semitic, is to make a film about the Holocaust. The project, being developed as a television mini-series, is likely to attract even more flak, as his father, Hutton, has repeatedly denied that the Holocaust happened. The actor spent £14 million producing the film on the last days of Christ, making a worldwide gross profit of £351 million, mainly because of the controversy it attracted. It made more than £2 million within three days of opening in Britain, despite being in Aramaic, Hebrew and Latin. Many screenings were sold ...

How I Know The King James Bible

There are many good works that one can read on the authority of the King James Bible, and this particular effort offers nothing really new. However, it does attempt to explain the issue in a simple and brief manner for all to understand. Over the years I have learned a great deal about this issue, and I believe that a truth worth learning is a truth worth telling. Many preachers and teachers across our land talk about "preferring" and "using" the KJV, but I haven't heard them speak much about BELIEVING it. Many prefer it and use it, because that's what their congregations prefer and use, but they do not BELIEVE it to be the infallible words of God. They are taught in ...

'Holiday' Cards Ring Hollow for Some on Bushes' List

What's missing from the White House Christmas card? Christmas. This month, as in every December since he took office, President Bush sent out cards with a generic end-of-the-year message, wishing 1.4 million of his close friends and supporters a happy "holiday season." Many people are thrilled to get a White House Christmas card, no matter what the greeting inside. But some conservative Christians are reacting as if Bush stuck coal in their stockings. "This clearly demonstrates that the Bush administration has suffered a loss of will and that they have capitulated to the worst elements in our culture," said William A. Donohue, president of the Catholic League for ...

UK: GIRL SENT HOME FROM SCHOOL FOR WEARING A CRUCIFIX

Mon Dec 05 2005 19:45:41 ET A school today defended its decision to exclude a pupil after she refused to take off her crucifix necklace. Sam Morris, 16, was told to remove her cross and chain on Thursday by deputy head teacher Howard Jones at Sinfin Community School in Derby. When the year-11 student refused she was told not to return until today and without the item of jewellery. The 1,070-student comprehensive has a strict policy which bans most jewellery being worn. Items can be worn out of view or if they are part of religious beliefs, such as the Kara, a bracelet worn by Sikh males. But the policy has been described as "unfair" by Sam's mother, Debra Saunders. Sinfin ...

News: Let others worry about the rapture: For the increasingly powerful Christian Reconstruction movement, the task is to establish the Kingdom of God right now—from the courthouse to the White House. November/December 2005 Issue TRINITY CHAPEL in suburban Atlanta’s Cobb County is hardly the picture of a revolutionary outpost. It’s a stylishly modern Church of God—a denomination that, though conservative, is certainly mainstream. Parishioners are drawn from a community whose average income is a comfortable 35 percent above the national norm, whose tree-lined country roads intersect McMansion subdivisions. If Norman Rockwell were painting suburban sprawl, he’d ...

Betty Bowers' Christmas 2005 Newsletter Seasons Bleatings to those few remaining unindicted Republicans out there whose unblinking loyalty cannot be diluted by the vicious media's newfound, punctilious obsession with unpatriotic facts! Friends, it is the Christmas season, and you know what that means. Yes, once again, it is time to be on vigilant lookout for malicious seasonal affronts by complete strangers. Such barbarous insults will most often come in the form of a foully exclaimed "Happy Holidays!" disingenuously palmed off by the irretrievably unsaved as a benign pleasantry. As Christians, it is essential to remain cognizant of the seemingly illogical fact that even ...

December 1, 2005 American Museum of Natural History Deserts Darwin The God Gaps By JOHN WALSH, M.D. The exhibit on Charles Darwin at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC is not to be missed. I am a biologist by trade; you could say biology is my business. Yet I learned a great deal from this "popular" exhibition, and three hours passed before I could tear myself away. There is something in it for everyone, from high school kids to working scientists. Toward the end, I came upon a video presentation, which took on the controversy of intelligent design, aka creationism, versus evolution. And there I found that both the Museum and a number of my fellow scientists had ...

Theologians to ask Pope to suspend limbo?

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Limbo -- the place where the Catholic Church teaches that babies go if they die before being baptized -- may have its days numbered. According to Italian media reports on Tuesday, an international theological commission will advise Pope Benedict to eliminate the teaching about limbo from the Catholic catechism. The Catholic Church teaches that babies who die before they can be baptized go to limbo, whose name comes from the Latin for "border" or "edge," because they deserve neither heaven nor hell. Last October, seven months before he died, Pope John Paul asked the commission to come up with "a more coherent and enlightened way" of ...

http://phenomenews.com/braden.htm The force that created the unimaginable splendors and the unimaginable horrors has taken refuge in us, and it will follow our commands. St. Catherine of Siena There is something “out there.” Just beyond our perceptions of the everyday world there’s a presence or force, that’s at once both mysterious and comforting. We talk about it. We feel it. We believe in it and pray to it, perhaps without even understanding precisely what it is. Calling it by names that vary from the Web of Creation to the Spirit of God, ancient traditions knew that this presence exists. They also knew how to apply it in their lives. In the words of their time, ...

Omen of Coming Persecution of Christians? Rev. Ted Pike – National Prayer Nertwork Today Canadian Christians who publicly criticize homosexuality or blame Jewish leaders for the crucifixion are likely to be indicted as "hate criminals." But in 1971 when B'nai B'rith Canada and the Canadian Jewish Congress persuaded Parliament to enact their national anti-hate law, these Jewish organizations were wary of alarming Christians. Instead, they began anti-hate law enforcement by going after those least likely to be defended by society: Holocaust reductionists - those who reduce the six million figure of Jewish Holocaust dead. During the following 30 years, the Canadian public ...

A Note From America's Best Christian

(Tallahassee, Florida) America's Best Christian, Mrs. Betty Bowers, has announced plans to open a halfway house exclusively for George and Barbara Bush's grandchildren. "We wanted it to be available to others, but with the nursing shortage, we are probably going to be too busy already just attending to the sundry addictions of America's First Family of Politics," said Mrs. Bowers as she cut the ribbon. "Whereas White House occupant Betty Ford opened a facility to keep Liza Minnelli off the street, this is a way of returning the favor by – finally – providing a place for people in the White House to dry out." "When I saw the mug shot of Noelle Bush on CNN ...

The Young Lady is a Tramp

The Young Lady is a Tramp By Henry Makow Ph.D. July 10, 2004 Last December, a baseball player was sentenced to 45 days in prison for having sex with minors. Cass Rynes, 19, from Prince Edward Island received oral sex from two local girls age 12 and 13. He maintained they pursued him, and he thought they were older. This unusual case has drawn attention to a disturbing social phenomenon: pubescent girls from all social strata think it's a sign of maturity to dispense blowjobs. A 2002 Health Canada survey found that one-third of all Grade Nine students (age 13) and more than half of all Grade Eleven students (age 15) report having oral sex. Freelance writer Sara Wilson talked to ...

Intelligent Design Part 3 - a little thought experiment

Second, allow me to restate that I DON'T believe in Intelligent Design. I'm just fascinated with what the topic does to otherwise rational people on both sides of the question. [...snip...] I understand the argument for excluding Intelligent Design from science classes. Most scientists believe it doesn't meet the definition of science. You can't argue with the people who MAKE the definitions. If the vast majority say it doesn't have enough substance to qualify as science, that's okay with me. But I have to wonder if that's the real reason most scientists oppose including it in schools. I would expect scientists to welcome such a clear model of something that is NOT science, as an example ...

A Biblical Response to Those Who Say We Should Disarm; to Those Who Teach Pacifism; to Those Who Think the Bible Has Nothing to Say About Arms by Pastor Matt Trewhella Genesis 4:8-12 In this passage, Scripture records the first murder wherein Cain killed Abel. That Cain must have used some sort of weapon to kill Abel is evidenced by the fact that Abel was bleeding (he was not strangled). Notice how God responded to the killing. He did not institute some sort of weapon-control, rather, He punished the one who committed the crime. Exodus 20 and following In His holy Law, which God decreed at Sinai, nowhere do you see God outlawing weapons in regards to the various crimes which He ...

Here in America the person who controls our economy is the chairman of the Federal Reserve Board. That person, Alan Greenspan, is now retiring. Greenspan is a Jew. He is to be replaced by Ben S. Guantanamo Bay Prisoner Sues U.S. to Get a Bible The government says certain books are withheld because they could 'incite' inmates. By Richard A. Serrano, Times Staff Writer WASHINGTON — At the U.S. prison for suspected terrorists at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, everyone can get a Koran, but no one gets a Bible. Saifullah Paracha, a 58-year-old former Pakistani businessman with alleged ties to Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, has been in U.S. custody since 2003. Like the other inmates at Guantanamo Bay, he has a copy of the Koran. But he also wants an English translation of the King James version of the Bible. Paracha believes that because the Bible is one of the scriptures accepted in ...

The Great Thanksgiving Hoax

Each year at this time school children all over America are taught the official Thanksgiving story, and newspapers, radio, TV, and magazines devote vast amounts of time and space to it. It is all very colorful and fascinating. It is also very deceiving. This official story is nothing like what really happened. It is a fairy tale, a whitewashed and sanitized collection of half-truths which divert attention away from Thanksgiving's real meaning. The official story has the pilgrims boarding the Mayflower, coming to America and establishing the Plymouth colony in the winter of 1620-21. This first winter is hard, and half the colonists die. But the survivors are hard working and tenacious, and ...

What should be the focus of Christians on Thanksgiving?

Answer: First, a brief history of Thanksgiving - the original thanksgiving celebration was held by the Pilgrim settlers in Massachusetts, during their second winter in America in December, 1621. The first winter had killed 44 of the original 102 colonists. At one point their daily food ration was down to five kernels of corn apiece, but then an unexpected trading vessel arrived, swapping them beaver pelts for corn, providing for their severe need. The next summer’s crop brought hope and Governor William Bradford decreed that December 13, 1621 be set aside as a day of feasting and prayer to show the gratitude of the colonists that they were still alive. These Pilgrims, seeking ...

The homosexual activist movement and organized pedophiles are linked together by a common goal: To gain access to children for seduction into homosexuality. Serial killers, government tyrants, academic liberals, Catholic priests, politicians, Mormon Church higher-ups, Jewish rabbis, environmental extremists, communists, religious heretics, mass murderers, occultists, spies, and the Illuminati share something hideous and grotesque in common. Almost all are homo-sexual. Worse, most of the sick-minded men who comprise these demented social groups are not only homosexual, they practice the most kinky and perverted forms of sexual licentiousness-pedophilia, satanic bondage, physical torture, ...
