Too clever to have children? Oh thank god. Let’s take the selfish cunt DNA out of the gene pool once and for all! 22 Nov http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2236467/The-women- think-theyre-clever-babies-Theyre-educated-dynamic-careers–believe-motherhood- beneath-them.html A group of ladies is very busy applauding themselves this morning in the Daily Mail for being too clever to have children.  They’ve sunk all the energy and passion and intelligence they possess into building careers and have absolutely no time for motherhood, which apparently sucks anyways.  You would think they might have a little time to hit the gym, but no, that’s not a priority either, by ...

Let Us Have Gay Marriage, But not Yet

I have never shared or understood the moral prejudice against homosexual acts. Even as a boy, I thought the legal penalties were unjust. A quarter of a century ago, I wrote an essay in which, among much else, I called for gay marriage to be allowed. There is currently a gay-marriage Bill before Parliament, and I have not changed my mind on the topic. I am still in favor of gay marriage. If two consenting adults want to live together in close union and can find a consenting minister of religion to bless their union, who are we to object? The same applies to polygamy, polyandry, incest, or any other kind of union between consenting adults. To a libertarian, the sole function of state ...

◄$$$ A GERMAN LAWYER IS TO HEAD THE VATICAN BANK. THIS IS THE BIG HEADLINE BEHIND THE PUBLICIZED STORY ON THE POPE'S RESIGNATION. SPECULATION ASIDE, THE CONFESSION OF MONETARY SINS COMES NEXT. $$$ The story of the first pope to resign in 600 years is captivating, and has generated heaps of speculation. All precedent since the 16th century has held that aging and infirmed popes die within the arms of the church. Not here! Benedict's resignation distracts from the bigger headline issue. A German lawyer is about to head the Vatican Bank, an institution replete with controversy. Its shady activity is blamed by some informed parties as the reason for the pontiff's premature ...

More On Benedict’s Resignation

The Washington Post reports that a lot of it had to do with ongoing problems with the Vatican Bank. Excerpt: Evidence suggests the outgoing pope sought to shed light on the dark Vatican books, but that effort yielded even more controversy. The former president of the Vatican bank, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, was forced to resign in May, alleging he was fired for getting “too close to the truth.” Last year, other documents leaked by the pope’s butler and other sources revealed the depth of the internal tug of war over financial transparency, with Vatican reformers pitted against traditionalists who appeared to believe the church should answer only to a higher power. On Friday, ...

After the Tribulation – Sneak Peek (The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Fraud Exposed)

Why have so many modern day Christians been conditioned to stand down to tyranny? ——The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Fraud Exposed Satan is working behind the scenes to set up a one world government and one world religion in preparation for the Antichrist. He has also deceived modern evangelical Christians into believing that they will be removed from this earth before the great tribulation takes place. This doctrine, known as the pre-tribulation rapture, teaches that Christ may return at any moment, and that there will be no signs of his coming. As a result of this deception, most Christians are completely unprepared for what the Bible has warned us is coming. In this hard-hitting ...

Quote: “What is the secular basis of Judaism? Practical need, self-interest. What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money.…. Money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man – and turns them into commodities…. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange…. The chimerical nationality of the Jew is the nationality of the merchant, of the man of money in general. Should People Wear Hats When they Pray? (Did Yeshuah wear a head covering?)

I am not very religious, but some recent photos got me thinking about the issue of whether one's head should be covered while praying. According to first Corinthians chapter 11, christian men should not cover their heads while praying, but christian women should cover their heads. On Covering the Head in Worship 2 I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you. 3 But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man,[a] and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or ...

ACLU opposes Jesus painting in school building

The American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio yesterday joined another group in seeking the removal of a painting of Jesus displayed in a Jackson, Ohio, school. Like the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the ACLU believes that the picture, which school officials vow will stay, is an unconstitutional entanglement of church and state and an endorsement of Christianity. “In this case, there are no other historical or religious figures displayed, making it very clear that the portrait is non-secular and meant to endorse one religion in particular,” an ACLU of Ohio lawyer said in a statement. “The fact that this portrait has been hanging for many years does not change the fact ...

Dec. 26th: Feast of St. Stephen, the first martyr, who was killed by the Jews

When I was a kid in 7th grade, I chose the name Stephen as my Confirmation name, after St. Stephen. I didn't know much about St. Stephen, so maybe it's irony or something more meaningful that my patron Saint was one of the first seven deacons and the first martyr. The apostles had ordained seven deacons to help with the daily care of the poor and widowed. He was stoned to death by the Jews around A.D. 34-35 for exposing their wrongdoing. (Outlined in Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 7.) St. Stephen's feast day is today, Dec. 26th. Catholic.org explains, "God worked many miracles through St. Stephen and he spoke with such wisdom and grace that many of his hearers became ...

Christmas in an Anti-Christian Age

For two millennia, the birth of Christ has been seen as the greatest event in world history. The moment Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem, God became man, and eternal salvation became possible. This date has been the separation point of mankind's time on earth, with B.C. designating the era before Christ, and A.D., anno domino, in the Year of the Lord, the years after. And how stands Christianity today? "Christianity is in danger off being wiped out in its biblical heartlands," says the British think tank Civitas. In Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Ethiopia and Nigeria, Christians face persecution and pogroms. In Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan, conversion is a capital offense. In ...

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the ...

Social Conservative Pharisees
Post Date: 2012-12-20 10:34:20 by Ada

During the recent US presidential election campaign, former House Representative Ron Paul made a controversial statement: That the social conservative message was a "loser". The comment alienated some that other less principled campaigners courted for votes. They courted in vain as the message in practice ended up a vote loser. But the point of principle is that he said it as a family man married for over 55 years; as a committed Christian; as a medical doctor having delivered over 4000 babies into the world; and as an uncompromising pro-life defender of the unborn. Yet the statement was absolutely right, for one primary reason: Looking to the state to clean up society is like ...

China rounds up members of doomsday cult

China rounds up members of doomsday cult By Jamil Anderlini in Beijing Police across China are rounding up members of a quasi-Christian doomsday cult who have been preaching the end of the world and urging people to launch a “decisive battle” to slay the “big red dragon” of the Communist party. Scores and perhaps hundreds of members of an outlawed cult known as the Church of Almighty God have been detained throughout the country in recent days as Beijing tries to stop believers taking drastic action on what they believe to be the eve of the apocalypse, according to relatives of cult members and state media reports. Creationist Artist Johan Huibers Builds Replica Noah's Ark
Post Date: 2012-12-12 10:29:09 by Ada

Even by Old Testament standards, the story of Noah and the Ark is pretty, well, Biblical in proportion. All of the world's animals entering a giant boat in pairs to escape a flood designed to wipe out the rest of the world is one of the most enduring stories of all time. A full scale replica of Noah's Ark in seen in Dordrecht, Netherlands Which is what makes the work of Johan Huibers all the more impressive. The Dutch artist has built a full-scale model of Noah's famous vessel and opened it to the public in the Netherlands. Following the description laid out in the Genesis as closely as possible, 'Johan's Ark' measures 130 metres (427ft) long, 29 metres across ...

Ayn Rand, Mother of American Satanism

When I say that Ayn Rand was a wanna be Antichrist who inspired The Satanist Bible, I am not suggesting that Paul Ryan, a huge Ayn Rand fan, shares that distinction. Ryan is struggling to be a good Catholic Christian and a devotee of a woman who turned the teaching of Jesus on its head. Fortunately, a long list of conservative politicians and Christians has no illusions about Ayn Rand. The late Charles Colson, shortly before his death, made a last ditch attempt to warn fellow conservatives that Ayn Rand and Jesus are antithetical. ”Atlas shrugged,” Colson said, “and so should you.” Colson wasn’t alone. In a biting article in First Things, a conservative Christian ...

Religion and Politics: The Case for Their Divorce

Religion and Politics: The Case for Their Divorce by Gerard N. Casey Introduction Since the heyday of the Enlightenment, there have been concerted efforts in many parts of the West to get religion out of politics, presumably on the grounds that religion is bad for politics. Whatever the merits of these efforts, and to whatever extent they may be justifiable, what has not, perhaps, been so widely considered is whether or not it might also be a good idea to separate religion from politics because politics is bad for religion! I argue that politics, understood as the institution and operation of the state, is a deeply flawed project and hence that religion’s association with it is ...

The Hobbit

I am looking forward to the release of The Hobbit on December 14th. Its author, J.R.R. Tolkien, was essentially an anarchist. He once stated: “My political opinions lean more and more to Anarchy (philosophically understood, meaning the abolition of control not whiskered men with bombs) – or to ‘unconstitutional’ Monarchy. I would arrest anybody who uses the word State (in any sense other than the inaminate real of England and its inhabitants, a thing that has neither power, rights nor mind); and after a chance of recantation, execute them if they remained obstinate! If we could go back to personal names, it would do a lot of good. Government is an abstract noun meaning ...

Christmas tree ban touches nerve about religious diversity, tolerance

News of Newhall seniors protesting the removal of a Christmas tree from their community room this week because, they said they were told, it was a religious symbol prompted a national outcry -- a collective bah humbug from Christmas defenders. It was, many said, another example of the so-called "war on Christmas" and political correctness run amok. The issue isn't new, but the debate over appropriate public demonstrations of traditionally religious holidays has now spread beyond blatant symbols like the cross and Nativity scenes to the unassuming Christmas tree. Chalk it up to the melting pot, experts say. "The country is becoming more religiously diverse over time so ...
