Albert Einstein - Genius or Fraud?
Post Date: 2011-10-21 02:19:00 by Tatarewicz

Albert Einstein -- was he a thief, a liar and a plagiarist? ALBERT EINSTEIN is held up as "a rare genius," who drastically changed the field of theoretical physics. However, using the technique known as 'The Often-Repeated Lie=Truth,' he has been made an idol to young people, and his very name has become synonymous with genius. THE TRUTH, HOWEVER, IS VERY DIFFERENT. Einstein was an inept and moronic person, who could not even tie his own shoelaces; he contributed NOTHING ORIGINAL to the field of quantum mechanics, nor any other science. On the contrary -- he stole the ideas of others, and the Jew-controlled media made him a 'hero.' When we actually examine the ...

Brit community blocks shale gas fracking

Councillors in the Vale of Glamorgan have unanimously rejected an application to test drill for shale gas in the county. They said the potential risk of pollution to ground water following a letter from Welsh Water made the application difficult to accept. Coast Oil and Gas Limited wanted to test a site at the Llandow Industrial Estate near Llantwit Major. The Bridgend-based company said it was likely to appeal the ruling. In its letter Welsh Water said it believed there was "a very small risk" of contamination of its reserve groundwater sites from the proposed exploratory drilling. But it added: "If there is an excessive loss of drilling fluid to the aquifer during the ...

6 Most Mind-Blowing Things Ever Discovered in Space
Post Date: 2011-10-20 07:19:32 by Tatarewicz

It's actually really easy to think of space as boring. The planets in our own solar system all seem to be empty rocks or balls of gas, and you find a whole lot of nothing before you get to the next star. Meanwhile, Hollywood's most creative minds can't get past populating the place with planets that look a whole lot like Earth (and specifically, parts of California) featuring monsters, rapey aliens or Muppets. But real space is far, far stranger. You just have to know where to look to find things like ... #6. A Planet Made of Diamond Science fiction writers have this annoying thing they do where they can only think of like five different types of planets. You know, ...

The Best Way to Cook Corn on the Cob for a Crowd?

It's Cooler Corn! Am I the only person who hasn't heard of "cooler corn"? As an obsessive food nerd, you'd expect that I would have at least heard of it, but over the weekend I was blind-sided by the simple genius of this method for cooking loads of corn on the cob perfectly. I was hepped to it while visiting my family in Maine. Short story: We like corn on the cob. And with eight adults at the table, that means a couple of dozen ears. We would have used the lobster pot to cook them all, but the lobster pot was busy steaming lobster. Then my sister, a capable Maine cook with years of camping experience, says "let's do cooler corn!" Before I can ask ...

Wild B.C. salmon test positive for 'lethal' virus linked to fish farms

VANCOUVER — Wild sockeye salmon from B.C. have tested positive for a potentially devastating virus that has never been found before in the North Pacific. Infectious salmon anemia is a flu-like virus affecting Atlantic salmon that spreads very quickly and mutates easily, according to Simon Fraser University fisheries statistician Rick Routledge. ISA can be fatal to Atlantic salmon, especially those confined in fish farms. Its effect on wild sockeye is unknown. The virus detected in sockeye smolts by the Atlantic Veterinary College in P.E.I. — Canada's ISA reference lab — is the European strain of ISA, the same virus that devastated fish farms in Chile four years ...

The trial of a former CIA officer charged with leaking top secret information to a New York Times reporter was abruptly postponed Friday afternoon after the government announced its intent to appeal a judge's ruling on witnesses. Jury selection was set to begin Monday morning in federal court in Alexandria, Va. for the case against ex-CIA officer Jeffrey Sterling, who's accused of giving Times reporter James Risen top-secret details of a CIA operation to undermine Iran's nuclear weapons program by providing flawed nuclear designs to Tehran. Word of the postponement came following a closed-door hearing Friday afternoon to discuss how classified information would be handled ...

Large German satellite set to crash to earth in coming weeks

A German research satellite has left its orbit and is heading for earth, with scientists saying pieces could hit the earth when it re-enters the atmosphere in the next few weeks. ROSAT, an X-ray telescope weighing nearly three tons and built with British and American help, has been orbiting the earth since 1990, making numerous discoveries, including the remnants of supernova explosions. But in February, officials revealed they were losing control of the satellite and they couldn’t precisely say what would happen when it re-entered the earth’s atmosphere. They haven’t been able to communicate with ROSA since the end of its mission in 1999. Now they predict it should ...

Norwegian teachers less brainy than before: study

Norwegian teachers are 10 percent “less intelligent” than they were 10 years ago according to a study by professors at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, or NHH. Low pay is blamed for a brain drain which contributed to lower scores on a recent IQ test which teachers of a decade ago were also asked to brave. A general study of 25,000 young men entering new professions showed the golden age for teaching in Norway was the 1950s, when the best and brightest thought the profession worth the headaches. “It has steadily gone downwards with measured IQ for male teachers,” NHH’s professor Kjell Gunnar Salvanes told TV2 news. The Local could not reach Salvanes or ...

The German military on Wednesday unveiled the new “Euro Hawk” super drone, whose size and range is set to revolutionize the Bundeswehr’s intelligence-gathering capabilities. “It’s a milestone for us,” project leader Rüdiger Knöpfel told Die Welt newspaper in Manching, Bavaria, where the drone was presented by the Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement. The Euro Hawk weighs 15 tonnes, has a wingspan of 40 metres, and can fly non-stop for 30 hours, covering a distance of up to 25,000 kilometres – enough to fly from Berlin to Tokyo and back without a break. The drone will be used for reconnaissance missions in conflict regions like ...

Over 1 million volunteers will take to the streets and communities to gently stop uncivilized behavior such as spitting and illegal parking in Beijing, the Beijing News reported on Friday. The “civility monitor group,” unlike law enforcement officials, will try to stop uncivilized behavior through reasoning and gentle words. The group will mainly have five tasks: asking residents to stop uncivilized behavior, patrolling communities for security, trying to resolve disputes between residents, helping residents in need, and promoting laws and rules. Organized by municipal authorities, 1.2 million volunteers will start work in 2,633 communities in Beijing by the end of 2011. ...

Study unveils word patterns of psychopaths

The language of psychopathic murderers provides a window to their souls, new research shows. The words they use "match their personalities, which reflect selfishness, detachment from their crimes and emotional flatness," says Jeff Hancock, a professor of computing and information science at New York State's Cornell University. He conducted the study with colleagues at the University of British Columbia. Their findings appear in the journal Legal and Criminological Psychology. The team says it analyzed stories told by 14 psychopathic male murderers held in Canadian prisons and compared them with 38 convicted murderers who were not diagnosed as psychopathic. Each subject was ...

“What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or, if during the periods of mass arrests ... people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang on the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood that they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?” Alexander Solzhenitsyn {1918-2008), The Gulag Archipelago…The Book That Changed The World Special Report from Sister Ciara Barely a fortnight (1 October) ago we came to ...

$2.5. million Chinese yacht goes straight down on launch

If you're going to spend $2.5 million on a yacht, you'd like it to be able to float. Alas, the SS Jiugang wasn't able to meet that basic requirement. The Chinese vessel made her maiden voyage in the Yellow River. Although "voyage" probably isn't the right word. "Fiasco" is more appropriate, because the boat instantly sank as it was pushed into the water. The above video of the vessel's inglorious found its way to tech blog Gizmodo. It's both heartbreaking and hilarious, watching the excited people push the boat into the river only to watch the boat's stern quickly sink into the muddy waters. (Cue Celine Dion, and the sweeping ...

BOOK WARNS OF END Fri Oct 14 2011 07:00:25 ET **Exclusive** "As the faith that gave birth to the West is dying in the West, peoples of European descent from the steppes of Russia to the coast of California have begun to die out, as the Third World treks north to claim the estate. The last decade provided corroborating if not conclusive proof that we are in the Indian Summer of our civilization." So begins Pat Buchanan in his hardcore work, SUICIDE OF A SUPERPOWER. "Will America Survive to 2025?" Buchanan, set for maximum controversy, launches all rockets at introduction "Disintegrating Nation" -- and does not let up for 400-plus pages. "America is ...
