Firefox question for all of you guru's out there

I recently upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1. It looks a little different than the last version, which is no big deal except that I cannot find the little yellow lock symbol that normally appears when you are on a secure shopping site. So the question is, how do I tell whether or not the site is secure? Has anyone else noticed this?
So did Cynicom kick the bucket or what?
