Alien NationTaking Back Los Angeles, Block by Block By James Kirkpatrick Marines battle aliens in Los Angeles cried the Washington Examiner Friday morning. As I hadnt had my coffee yet, as I stepped on the Metro, I briefly thought to myself that there had been a military coup during the night. Unfortunately, its just a movie, and these aliens come from outer space. As what used to be our country continues its decline into a barely controlled confederation of hostile ethnic fiefdoms, it is harder to make movies and games about villains that invade America without offending the hyphenated Americans that already invaded in real life. The only possibilities left are ...

MARCO ISLAND, Fla. (Newscore) - A Pennsylvania woman on vacation in Florida took a tip from two dolphins to save a lost Doberman Pinscher that got stranded on a sandbar. When Audrey D'Alessandro and her husband, Sam, walked out of their home on Marco Island, near Naples, Fla., to go fishing, "we saw these two dolphins, and they were splashing and making this big commotion" in a canal behind their vacation home, she said. Although it is not uncommon to see dolphins swimming through the canal on their way to the Gulf of Mexico, Audrey D'Alessandro said that this time, "they were just there, in one place, splashing water against the canal wall." When the ...
Signs of Atlantis found in southern Spain: scientists Post Date: 2011-03-15 02:16:23 by Tatarewicz

Scientists say they may have discovered the lost city of Atlantis buried deep under the marshlands of southern Spain. The legendary city is believed to have been "swallowed up by the sea," as the Greek philosopher Plato so famously put it 2,400 years ago. He wrote of a great city destroyed by floodwaters following an earthquake deep under the sea an image that resonates at a time when Japan is struggling to recover from a devastating earthquake and tsunami off its northeast coast. A National Geographic television special that aired on Sunday details the work of American, Canadian and Spanish scientists as they attempt to prove Atlantis existed by following up on space ...

NOTE: We received the following link from Ms. Nenah Sylver and found it of such importance that we are posting it hoping that the author will contact us so we can give full attribution. -ed Below is a science fair project that my granddaughter did for 2006. In it she took filtered water and divided it into two parts. The first part she heated to boiling in a pan on the stove, and the second part she heated to boiling in a microwave. Then after cooling she used the water to water two identical plants to see if there would be any difference in the growth between the normal boiled water and the water boiled in a microwave. She was thinking that the structure or energy of the water may be ...
China's prosperity creates kitchen waste recycling problems Post Date: 2011-03-13 00:16:41 by Tatarewicz

BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Rotten potatoes and unwanted chicken wings represent a novel form of energy, otherwise they could risk food safety, said two Chinese political advisors who called for legislation against improper handling of kitchen waste. "The legislature should make laws to guarantee that kitchen waste is properly treated and recycled into assets," said Yao Aixing, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the top political advisory body. Yao's proposal came at a time when most Chinese people, who have more disposable income, seem to be less thrifty when consuming food. FOOD SAFETY CONCERNS Yao ...

I tried a new way to buy silver today. Post Date: 2011-03-11 23:36:49 by Critter

I decided to try putting ads on craigslist today, offering to buy junk US silver coins. I went with an offer of $23 per dollar of face value. At today's spot, they would be worth about $26. I included the disclaimer that this was today's price and that the offer is subject to change. I got one bite so far and am picking up $32 face value tomorrow for $736 which is currently worth $831. It sure as heck beats paying spot plus for silver, no? I put my ads in "wanted" and "for sale / collectibles". I'm not sure which got the bite. I plan on doing this for a while and seeing how it goes. I may just buy and then sell on ebay and get a bit over spot for the ...

Real Politics in Wisconsin Wisconsin Republicans Defend Themselves -- For Once By James Kirkpatrick Republicans in Wisconsin did something unexpected today -- they acted in defense of themselves. Forget the talk about "a better business climate for Wisconsin" or the inherent unfairness of public sector unions. All of that may be true but it also doesnt matter. The Republican Party, at a stroke, ripped out one of the main supports of the organized Left in this country on their home turf. The Democratic Party is less a party than a coalition of mutually hostile tribes. These tribes band together occasionally to remove wealth from white Americans and redistribute it among ...

The Zapruder Film Examination: Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis
Did Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis Shoot President Kennedy?
This clip examines that possibility in detail. The theory is that Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis produced a weapon from her purse or somewhere within the limosine. Pay close attention to her right arm. It appears that she has something and shoves it in the breast of her jacket. Doesn't her right arm appear to be in an odd angle? She un-mistakingly does put something in her jacket that was laying on the seat.
There is also the science about bullets and exit wounds. Entry wounds from a bullet leave small holes and exit wounds generally ...

Limbaugh/Hannity Parent Company Admits Hiring Actors to Call Radio Shows Post Date: 2011-03-07 13:38:51 by wudidiz

Radio Trickery Reported by GW An online leak has emerged, revealing a questionable practice used by the employer of the biggest names in radio. America's #1 and #2 radio broadcast hosts today and for decades have been Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, whose ratings and profits have dominated once thriving local markets. After industry deregulation paved the way, their boss, Premiere Radio Networks and parent company Clear Channel Communications have used a Wal-Mart model of steamrolling or acquiring small, independent original radio businesses, syndicating everything from robotized genre music stations to a political talk show hosts selling snake oil. But according to an online ...

Manna - Chapter 4 by Marshall Brain Burt wanted to go outside and take a walk. Weather permitting, we tried to walk every evening. We left the cafeteria and departed through the main door along with a stream of other people. The building we exited was another one of the terrafoam projects. Terrafoam was a super-low-cost building material, and all of the welfare dorms were made out of it. They took a clay-like mud, aerated it into a thick foam, formed it into large panels and fired it like a brick with a mobile furnace. It was cheap and it allowed them to erect large buildings quickly. The robots had put up the building next to ours in a week. The government had finally figured out that ...
