Shoonra, Obama Sycophant, I am Calling you Out [Full Thread] Post Date: 2010-07-23 09:29:58 by James Deffenbach

In a post to SOL yesterday (with a ping to Shoonra), I said: He's so in love with the government and (apparently) Obama that he still believes Obama was born in Hawaii despite four videos posted to him on the same thread about that. In those four videos you have three people who should know saying that he was born in Kenya--his wife, his grandmother and the Kenyan ambassador. And in another one Bill Richardson, talking in Spanish to what was probably a crowd of illegal aliens from Mexico, described Obama as an "immigrant." How much more proof do people need? So how about it, Shoonra? Do you want to be forever known as someone who can't see past his ideology and accept ...

An unmarked police patrol vehicle parked behind the State College Borough Municipal building, 243 S. Allen St., was intentionally set on fire at 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The car was totaled due to heavy damage on the front end, police said. Police are investigating whether this incident is connected with the June 21 arson of another unmarked police patrol cruiser parked in the same lot. In the June 21 incident, a State College Police officer observed an unknown package of fire on the trunk area of the vehicle between 1:15 a.m and 1:30 a.m.

Parachuting donkey shocks Russian beachgoers By Agence France-Presse Tuesday, July 20th, 2010 -- 8:06 am MOSCOW (AFP) Russian beachgoers got a shock when they saw a donkey soaring in the blue skies over the balmy beaches on the Sea of Azov in southern Russia last week, police said on Tuesday. Attached to a parachute, the animal screamed in fear as it circled over heads of holidaymakers sunbathing on a beach in the Cossack village of Golubitskaya in the Krasnodar region. A regional police spokeswoman said the donkey ended up in the skies as a result of an impromptu advertising campaign by several Russian entrepreneurs to attract beachgoers to their private beach. Instead, they ...

Harvard Study Documents Media Bias and Misreporting - by Stephen Lendman This writer's November 2009 article titled "Paid Lying: What Passes for Major Media Journalism" also discussed it in detail, accessed through the following link: http://sjlendman.blogspot.com/2009/11/paid-lying-what-passes-for-major-media.html It called major media journalism biased, irresponsible, and sensationalist - misreporting, distorting, exaggerating, misstating, or suppressing vital truths - serving state and corporate interests over the common good, including bankers controlling the nation's money, unpunished corruption at the highest levels, democracy for the select few, sham elections, a ...

Man posts bail with counterfeit bills Post Date: 2010-07-15 01:54:38 by Horse

Most people post bail to stay out of jail. Not to risk a lot more time there. According to Cinnaminson Police, a Camden man included counterfeit $20 bills while paying his $400 bail on July 7. Lousy counterfeit $20s. Run off on a color copier, apparently. "They're pretty poor. I didn't have to touch them and I knew they were bad," said Detective Sgt. William K. Covert. They were almost as obvious as the copies of $1 bills he's seen created by students trying to fool soda machines. The paper didn't feel right. It lacked the colored threads. And Andrew Jackson's face was kind of fuzzy. Ronald White, 35, was arrested for several counts of shoplifting from ...

NYC- Car impounded, fined $2,000 over discarded air conditioner Post Date: 2010-07-14 08:52:29 by Jethro Tull

Car impounded over discarded air conditioner From CBS 2: "As far as I knew it was a piece of garbage sitting on the curb," Paul Lawrence said. But what Lawrence didn't know when he decided to pick up a discarded air conditioner sitting on the sidewalk in Middle Village, Queens is that once trash hits the curb, it's technically city property. And he was breaking the law. "There was a lady here. I asked the lady can I take the air conditioner. She said go ahead take it. It's garbage," Lawrence said. But not only was he fined $2,000 by a sanitation officer who watched him do it, the car he was driving was impounded. And its owner -- Lawrence's Aunt, ...

BUFFALO, N.Y. (CBS/AP) 53; Click to enlarge1 of 1 GIUSEPPE CACACE/AFP/Getty Images Armed security guards have been posted at public pools in Buffalo after a lifeguard was pulled into the water by rowdy teenagers and other unruly behavior prompted safety concerns for parks employees. The city's eight public outdoor pools were shut down last Thursday after fights broke out and a locker room was vandalized. At one pool, a 16-year-old lifeguard says she was yanked by her ankles into the water when she tried to restore order. She says she struck her head on a drain and then was repeatedly dunked by several teenagers until another lifeguard rescued her. The teen was treated at a Buffalo ...

Controversial Patriot writer and lawyer Edgar J. Steele, already jailed on suspicious charges that he tried to kill his wife with a pipe bomb, has been mysteriously removed from from a Spokane, Washington detention facility and taken to an undisclosed location, according to close friends of the Steele family. In a letter to his friend Ingri Cassell, Steele wrote that the charges of attempted murder are preposterous and blamed his hired handyman Larry Fairfax, a known FBI informant for trying to cover up his own theft of silver bullion from Steeles property by trying to kill both Steele and his wife. As the enclosed letter reproduced below indicates, Steele has been ...

Activists Missing After Declaring War on Leather at Motorcycle RallyJanuary 10, 2010 by randyedye Johnstown, PA (GlossyNews) Local and state police scoured the hills outside rural Johnstown, Pennsylvania, after reports of three animal rights activists going missing after attempting to protest the wearing of leather at a large motorcycle gang rally this weekend. Two others, previously reported missing, were discovered by fast food workers duct taped inside several fast food restaurant dumpsters, according to police officials. Something just went wrong, said a still visibly shaken organizer of the protest. Something just went horribly, ...
The Patch Post Date: 2010-07-09 08:54:04 by James Deffenbach

The other day I needed to go to the emergency room. Not wanting to sit there for 4 hours, I put on my old Army fatigues and stuck a patch onto the front of my shirt that I had downloaded off the Internet. When I went into the E.R., I noticed that 3/4 of the people got up and left. I guess they decided that they weren't that sick after all. Cut at least 3 hours off my waiting time. Here's the patch. Feel free to use it the next time you're in need of quicker emergency service. . . . . . . . It also works at DMV. It saved me 5 hours. And the Laundromat - three minutes after entering I had my choice of any machine, most still running. Don't try it at ...
