Today at the Range at Austin, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed SB16, legislation to drastically lower the fee to the state for the License to Carry from $140 to $40. The largest amount any Texan will pay for their license as for September 1st will be $40. Attending the bill signing ceremony was Senator Robert Nichols, the author of SB 16, House Sponsor Representative Phil King plus Representatives Kyle Kacal and DeWayne Burns attended as joint authors.
