AUSTIN (KXAN) — A prosecutor with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office was charged with driving while intoxicated on Sunday, according to the Austin Police Department. Police say 37-year-old Erika Hansen was arrested during the No Refusal initiative, where a total of 33 people were arrested over the weekend. According to an arrest affidavit, Hansen drove into a parked car in the 1200 block of East Seventh Street just before 1 a.m. The 911 caller told police the driver “appeared to be attempting to leave the scene.” Hansen told authorities she was distracted and struck the vehicle. Auto hyperlinking of images and web sites should now be working fine for secure web links. Previously, this code only worked for web links of "http://". Now it works for that as well as "https://" (with the "s" after "http"). The "s" stands for secure, which means the data at such links is transmitted in encrypted form instead of in freely readable format. That means that all the computers between your PC and the web server through which the data travels cannot understand the information that is there, which is not the case with the basic "http:" format, which is unencrypted and can be read by anyone or any government in control ...

Poster Comment:Mackinac Island is a beautiful place and no motor vehicles are allowed there. It is only open during the summer months and you ride a ferry over and back. When you get there you either walk, ride by horse and carriage, or bicycle. When I drove the big truck out of Chicago, they sent me to Milwaukee to pick up a load that delivered 6 miles south of the Straits of Mackinac. So I went north. It was the shortest way to the drop. I still remember driving across the Mackinac bridge at daybreak and seeing the islands in the Strait. It was beautiful.
