A Shanghai-based artist, Dai Jianyong, has been detained for creating an image of Chinese president Xi Jinping that had been distorted to resemble an anus and was then decorated with a Hitler moustache, reports RFI Chinese. Dai is a photographer in Shanghai, who is known for his technique of distorting faces to resemble "chrysanthemums," a common slang word for the anus in China. He published the image of Xi on Instagram, Chinese social networking app WeChat, as well as printing it on t-shirts and suitcases. Dai's attorney, Liu Xiaoyuan condemned the arrest. ALKMAAR, Netherlands, May 28 (UPI) -- A Netherlands public broadcaster shared a clip of its video drone being smacked out of the sky by an aggressive goose. RTV Noord-Holland, which shared the clip on YouTube, said the Egyptian goose apparently saw the drone as a rival when it was flying over the Oudorperpolder area of Alkmaar. The bird came in low to knock the device out of the sky. The drone did not appear to be seriously damaged and was able to make a relatively smooth landing.
