Pecan Pralines Makes approximately 15-20 pralines 2 cups granulated sugar 1 cup half and half 1/3 stick of salted butter 1/8 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups whole pecans In a large saucepan over medium high heat, combine the sugar, half and half, butter, baking soda and vanilla. Stir the mixture until boiling and the sugar has disolved completely.
