Christmas Kamikaze

Even Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Deception of Homeland Security (DHS), occasionally dispenses some truth. "I am grateful to the passengers and crew aboard Northwest Flight 253," she confessed Saturday, after a Nigerian tried to emasculate himself as the plane approached Detroit – a rather extreme reaction, granted, but then Detroit seems to bring out the kooks. This is the place whose residents celebrate Halloween by torching their neighborhoods, after all. And you can bet the Napster’s grateful. Those folks saved this silly charlatan’s neck, even if not their own. Though Leviathan hyperventilates about "a Christmas Day massacre with almost 300 people ...

US Tries Out British Camo in Afghanistan - Universal Uniforms are here
Post Date: 2009-12-28 21:10:17 by Jethro Tull

US troops could soon be mistaken for their across-the-pond counterparts: The US is now testing out uniforms with a camouflage pattern similar to the one the British announced they were using last week. The "MultiCam" uniform is being tested by one infantry regiment in eastern Afghanistan, and if successful could replace the current digital Universal Camouflage pattern. One sergeant currently testing the new uniform says he thinks it’s superior to the digital pattern, which he says doesn't blend into the terrain as well as the non-digital MultiCam one, and doesn’t mind being mistaken for an Englishman. “I’ve worked a lot with the Brits,” he tells ...

Senator Lieberman calls for ‘preemptive’ attack on Yemen

Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Senator Joeseph Lieberman (I-CT), who leads the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, has a vision of “tomorrow’s war.” “Somebody in our government said to me in Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, Iraq was yesterday’s war,” Lieberman explained. “Afghanistan is today’s war. If we don’t act preemptively, Yemen will be tomorrow’s war. That’s the danger we face.” Senator Arlen Specter (D-PA), also appearing on the program, seemed to agree, calling an attack against Yemen “something we should consider.” “Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan — the Army officer who killed 13 ...

A case that just gets curiouser and curiouser by Justin Raimondo, December 28, 2009 Email This | Print This | Share This | Comment | Antiwar Forum It just wouldn’t be Christmas in the age of terror if we didn’t have a visitation, ostensibly from al-Qaeda, now would it? ‘Tis the season, and all that. Recall Richard Reid, the "shoe bomber," arrested on December 22, 2001, for trying to blow up American Airlines flight 63, coming into Miami from Paris. As in the current case involving one Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, a 23-year-old Nigerian, the explosive used was PETN, also known as pentaerythritol: Reid, like Umar, was subdued by passengers and airline attendants, and, ...

Wow, that didn't take long at all. Dear Potential And Active Terrorists...

Dear Potential, Wannabe, and ACTIVE Terrorists. This is a letter to you from just one of the regular folks here on planet Earth. I know that as terrorists you people have something wrong with you. The idea of killing innocent people should make you think twice about what you do. When I talk about innocent people, I mean those people who are the poor and downtrodden. The folks who work every day, pay taxes, and do their best to be honest and hardworking. The same kind of people you talk about liberating. I'm talking about the people who are probably like your parents or grandparents. They just want to live in peace and not be screwed with. They want a shot at prosperity. We all do. I ...

Makes you wonder why the video popped up at Christmas. They'll probably be making a Beheading video soon. Not sure why the kid is wearing his helmet or his sunglasses in the video.

Reagan intel stafferArguing that "covert action and analysis do not belong together in the same agency," a former CIA agent who prepared intelligence briefings for President Reagan in the 1980s says the CIA should be broken in two. Welcome to Pashtunistan: the aim of America’s secret war?

Few people by now can be unaware of Blackwater, later known as Blackwater Worldwide and now as Xe. The private security agency formed in 1997 and based in North Carolina is owned by Erik Prince, a former member of the US Navy Seal special forces, and has long-standing links with both the CIA and the FBI. Its presence in Pakistan has been an open secret for some years. The investigative journalist and writer Jeremy Scahill, an authority on Blackwater and author of the bestselling Blackwater: the Rise of the World’s Most Powerful Mercenary Army, revealed last month that it has been there since 2006. He says Blackwater is being employed for covert ops, essentially intended to target ...

Christians United for War (Jesus Christ - God of War!!! Have you killed for you deity today?)

As today is Christmas Eve, it might be useful for those of us who call ourselves Christians to recall the teachings of Jesus Christ regarding humility, charity, tolerance, and peacemaking. The Christian message should be particularly welcome to the American people who have borne the burden of nearly continuous warfare since 2001, resulting in the deaths of more than 5,300 Americans and hundreds of thousands of foreigners at an appalling cost to the US economy. The message is particularly appropriate for Christmas 2009 because it appears that many so-called Christian leaders are urging the United States government to take steps that will inevitably lead to a new war, this time against Iran. ...

The use of weapons containing uranium components in the Jew-instigated wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are generating contaminated aerosols which are killing people en masse as well as our respective eco-systems. Genetically speaking the US and UK have destroyed the DNA of the Iraqi people as well as causing catastrophic effects on the environment through river and atmospheric pollution. full story at link Tatarewicz: If the fallout from nuclear tests during the Cold War, instigated by Russia's Bolshevik Jews, didn't give you cancer... Former Nato officer reveals secret night operations in border region which America kept quiet American special forces have conducted multiple clandestine raids into Pakistan's tribal areas as part of a secret war in the border region where Washington is pressing to expand its drone assassination programme. A former Nato officer said the incursions, only one of which has been previously reported, occurred between 2003 and 2008, involved helicopter-borne elite soldiers stealing across the border at night, and were never declared to the Pakistani government. "The Pakistanis were kept entirely in the dark about it. It was one of those things we wouldn't confirm officially with ...

Letter to a Christian Young Man Regarding Joining the Military

The following letter was sent to a Christian young man I know who was considering joining the military. He hasn’t joined as of yet, and I hope and pray that he doesn’t. I am posting this letter publicly in the hope that it might persuade some Christian young men I don’t know from joining the military. Dear ______: I have been told that you are thinking about joining the military. I hope I am misinformed. I understand that you are having trouble finding a job, but think that, as a Christian young man, you are making a big mistake if you join today’s military. First of all, you were raised in a Christian home and went to Christian schools your whole life. You will be ...

(US) Cruise missile attacks in Yemen (Hey out damned spot you odious necon blood dancer, this one's for you)

Given what a prominent role "Terrorism" plays in our political discourse, it's striking how little attention is paid to American actions which have the most significant impact on that problem. In addition to our occupation of Iraq, war escalation in Afghanistan, and secret bombings in Pakistan, President Obama late last week ordered cruise missile attacks on two locations in Yemen, which "U.S. officials" say were "suspected Al Qaeda hideouts." The main target of the attacks, Al Qaeda member Qasim al Rim, was not among those killed, but: "a local Yemeni official said on Sunday that 49 civilians, among them 23 children and 17 women, were killed in air ...

Iran Sanctions Are Precursor to War

Last week the House overwhelmingly approved a measure to put a new round of sanctions on Iran. If this measure passes the Senate, the United States could no longer do business with anyone who sold refined petroleum products to Iran or helped them develop their ability to refine their own petroleum. The sad thing is that many of my colleagues voted for this measure because they felt it would deflect a military engagement with Iran. I would put the question to them, how would Congress react if another government threatened our critical trading partners in this way? Would we not view it as asking for war? This policy is pure isolationism. It is designed to foment war by cutting off trade and ...

Why Are Military Families in Holiday Need?

Today, alongside the country’s meekest and poorest, thousands of children and wives of deployed soldiers are lining up for charity in order to make their holidays as full of cheer as the rest of ours. How easily we accept that military children – in part because of low pay and the crushing financial burdens of multiple deployments – have taken their place among the season’s Little Match Girls and Drummer Boys, in need of our contributions and our sympathies. But that is exactly what has happened. Just like our general resignation to the now eight-year war as just another inevitability of modern American life, so is our recognition of military families as part of the ...

Pakistan and the Fable of the Hornets

In December 2001 — three months after the 9/11 attacks — I wrote an article entitled “A Foreign-Policy Primer for Children: The Fable of the Hornets.” The article provides a good description of what is now taking place in Pakistan, in response to the CIA’s drone assassinations in that country. In the fable, Oscar the policeman provoked a crisis in the village by poking a bunch of hornets’ nests in the woods. The hornets responded to Oscar’s provocations by attacking people in the village. In response, Oscar and several deputies entered the woods and attacked and destroyed the hornets’ nests. After a grand celebration by the villagers, Oscar ...

Congress passes $636 billion in military spending

The US Congress on Saturday sent US President Barack Obama a massive annual military spending bill that funds current operations in Afghanistan and pays for the troop withdrawal from Iraq. In a rare weekend vote, the Senate approved the 636.3-billion-dollar package, which cleared the House of Representatives 395-34 on Wednesday, by an 88-10 margin. Obama is expected to send Congress an emergency spending measure of at least 30 billion dollars early next year to pay for his recently announced decision to send 30,000 more US troops to Afghanistan. The bill includes 101.1 billion dollars for operations and maintenance and military personnel requirements in Iraq and Afghanistan and to carry ...

Israel admits to organ thefts Harvested organs were alleged to have been used by the military and in public hospitals [File: AFP] Israel has admitted that it harvested organs from the dead bodies of Palestinians and Israelis in the 1990s, without permission from their families. The admission follows the release of an interview with Jehuda Hiss, the former head of Israel's forensic institute, in which he said that workers at the institute had harvested skin, corneas, heart valves and bones from Israelis, Palestinians and foreign workers. In the interview, which was conducted in 2000 when Hiss was head of Tel Aviv's Abu Kabir forensic institute, he said: "We started to harvest ...

US air raids kill 63 civilians in Yemen

Yemen’s Houthi fighters say scores of civilians, including many children, have been killed in US air-raids in the southeast of the war-stricken Arab country. The Shia fighters on Friday reported the deaths of 63 people, including some 28 children, in the southeastern province of Abyan. Almost 90 people were also injured in the attacks by US warplanes in the village of Bakazam, they added. Yemen’s southern provinces have recently been the scene of US airstrikes which Washington claims to be aimed at uprooting an al-Qaeda cell operative in the Persian Gulf state. But the residents of the area dismiss the claims that al-Qaeda members are being targeted in the US attacks, while a ...

Blackwater nowhere?Zia-ul-Haque The present government is strictly following the proverb: water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink. Blackwater is thickly scattered in many parts of the country but the government from top to bottom continues to deny their presence. The government may be partly true — since the Blackwater operatives presumably are operating under cover, various garbs and fictitious names but in connivance with the government. This justifies the government stand to some extent. Months and months ago America had warned its nationals not to travel to Pakistan. But despite such warnings almost 10,000 Americans had been granted Pakistani visas during the past five ...
