Thanks for the heads up on the sign-in not working. It stopped working with the upgrade to debian 10, but it's been resolved.

Since I migrated 4um to its new home, the site has been basically working, except for the fact that new registrations have not been. I went to work on this earlier today but discovered that I'm unable to find a solution for getting it to send emails. I hope to resolve this by upgrading it from Debian 8, which was the latest at migration time, to Debian 9. I consider this required, and will probably do it in the next day or two. 4um will be down for that duration though I don't expect it will take very long. So... FYI! Maybe when all is as it should be, we can start getting some new faces in here. Or maybe some old ones too. Thanks for the participation.

Full operations are not yet online. The migration to the new server is more than a migration. The Pinguinite software is about 15 years old. Time does indeed fly. Upon installing it on to the latest linux distributions of Debian server software, some modular software packages that were relied upon 15 years ago are no longer supported so to get 4um online again, I've needed to upgrade it to utilize the more recent replacements of those independent modules. All in all, that it lasted 15 years it speaks well of linux in general! More upgrades are required to bring 4um completely back online. I suspect comments are not yet functional. The first step in xferring the 4um web site is underway, which is changing over the DNS servers. There shouldn't be any interruption of service as the new DNS servers point to the same web and mail servers as the previous DNS servers. Or they should.
