Ecuador Panoramic

A few weeks back I took a trip here in Ecuador to a river canyon and had a great opportunity to try out the panoramic feature of my camera. The above is a composite from about 10 different photos, and the original, full size is about 12,000 pixels wide. The image covers about a 270 degree arc. As context, you can see both the sun on the right side and the shadow of a tree near my position on the left. The river visible below is about 1100 feet lower in altitude than I was. The canyon is about 7000-8000 feet above sea level, and near a village called Isinlivi, several hours south of Quito. I was informed a few days ago by a woman I have known for eight years that I leave a trail of wreckage behind me whatever I do. I informed her that she, her sister, her grandmother, and her best friend do not know what they are talking about! I leave no wreckage at all.
