Freeper supports Endicted Karl Rove and PROVEN CHILD PORNOGRAPHER Scooter Libby in TREASON!!!!

To: Sam Hill If Rove IS indicted, I strongly suggest President Bush use his administrative perogative and FIRE special prosecutor Fitzgerald for incompetence. Seriously. Sometimes I can't help but realize that President Bush has no one but his own self-depreciating policies to blame for his troubles. Especially in this case where it was obvious from the beginning that no freakin' crime was committed. But Bush so desparately seeks approval from the Tired Old Media and the Tired Old Democrats that he often cuts his own balls off just to make the lefties feel better. If I was Scooter Libby or Carl Rove, I'd be furious for putting me through this grand jury baloney for two years when ...

Andy Borowitz -- Bush Demands That Iran Halt Production of Long Letters Email this item Email Print this item Print Posted on May 12, 2006 By Andy Borowitz Days after receiving an 18-page letter from Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President George W. Bush called the lengthy missive “an act of war” and demanded that Iran halt its production of long letters at once. At the White House, aides said that writing a letter of such length to President Bush, who is known for his extreme distaste for reading, was the most provocative act Mr. Ahmadinejad could have possibly committed. “Everyone knows that the last book the president read was ‘My Pet Goat,’” ...

C&L's Late Night Music Club with Joni Mitchell It's Friday. I think we need to all calm down from a hectic week. I couldn't find a better selection than Joni Mitchell, Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius and Don Alias playing, "Coyote." Here's a review about Joni and the band. Agree or disagree: "Joni Mitchell's Shadows and Light is a doubly terrific treat for music lovers. For her fans, of course, it's a legendary 1979 concert showcasing the singer/songwriter in full artistic glory. And for modern jazz lovers, it marks the chance to see a band of musicians that can be called nothing less than a supergroup...read on" I couldn't believe I didn't own a copy of this DVD. I ...

WOMEN can work out if a man will make a good father just by looking at his face, new research reveals. Even studying a photograph gives them subconscious clues that he likes children and is therefore a good long-term partner. Scientists behind the discovery believe it adds an important dimension to knowledge about mate selection among humans. They say women judge a man on his genetic quality as well as his willingness to be a good parent for her offspring. And their studies show keen ladies use masculine features as a guide to genetic quality. When at their most fertile, they are especially attracted to men with features such as strong jaws. But at other times of the month women ...

In a conference room above the exhibit floor, a model named Jackie assessed the Greek tunic-like costume she was supposed to wear to promote THQ's video ...

Stilton Perfume? You Must Be Crackers

The makers of Stilton cheese have launched their own perfume. Eau de Stilton claims to "recreate the earthy and fruity aroma" of the pungent blue cheese "in an eminently wearable perfume". Whether British women can be persuaded to forgo their normal fragrances for a cheesy aroma remains to be seen. The perfume, blended by a Manchester-based aromatics company, features a "symphony of natural base notes including yarrow, angelica seed, clary sage and valerian". It was commissioned by the Stilton Cheesemakers' Association as part of a campaign to persuade more people to eat their product. Nigel White, of the SCA, brushed off suggestions that it might not be the ...

Draw a Pig Personality Test

By Alice HillRealTechNews Ah…the Internet. Where else can you find such strange ways to dissect your personality for free? Case in point: today I tried drawing a pig. (My mouse jumped when the phone rang and I accidently drew a weird line, but luckily that didn’t seem to affect my score.) Note: don’t read the results below if you plan to try it otherwise you’ll be tempted to cheat. Looks like I am emotionally naive with a great sex life. Toward the top of the paper, you are positive and optimistic. Facing front, you are direct, enjoy playing devil’s advocate and neither fear nor avoid discussions. With few details, you are emotional and naive, they care little for ...

This is Steve Sailer's review of the book, The Man Who Would Be Queen: The Science of Gender-Bending and Transsexualism "Please note that this book has been the subject of an organized smear campaign among transsexuals, which accounts for most of unhinged reviews you'll see below. "Professor Bailey is the chairman of the psychology department at Northwestern and probably the leading researcher into homosexuality in America. "The first two thirds of the book are about male homosexuals, who, as you'll note, aren't complaining. It briskly reviews most of the scientific evidence on male homosexuality, which shows that most of the stereotypes about gay men tend to be more or ...

Senate To Legalize Watergate Break-In The Senate will vote next week to pass a bill that will retroactively declare the Watergate break-in to be legal. "If President Nixon felt that spying on the Democratic National Committee headquarters was necessary, that's good enough for me," said Sen. Pat Roberts (R.-Kan.), who elaborated, "It's time for us to stop second-guessing our leaders." The bill is the first of a number of laws that aims to ensure that the President can do no wrong. Other laws contemplated by the Senate specifically authorize the trading of arms for hostages, manipulating intelligence to make the case for war, misleading the American people, and the use ...

How do you save money?

The economy's not so hot. I make pretty good money, but I'm being squeezed, just like everyone else. Here's what I've done: I haven't bought a new car since I don't know when. I don't know how many miles my car has on it, since I put another (used) engine and transmission in it. They cost me $1000. The odometer says over 300,000 miles (I take care of my cars), but the engine and transmission have about 50,000 miles on them. Lots of rice and beans at home, with salt and olive oil and some meat or fish. It's a lot tastier than it sounds. We eat out maybe once a week. We turn the heat down at night in the winter and use a space heater in the bedroom. I've found it saves close to $100 a ...

Hamell on Trial: The return of Bill Hicks

I saw Hamell on Trial for the first time last night. I have liked his CDs, but they are hard to find and rather infrequent. He's basically the late Bill Hicks with guitars. Or anyway, one loud guitar. He promotes Hicks relentlessly, and is nearly as biting and vicious politically, but with a warmer persona. Now that he's on Ani DiFranco's Righteous Babe records, you can find his new one, Songs for Parents Who Enjoy Drugs, pretty easily. (And he has been sober for 19 years, so no, he is not encouraging drug use....) Anyway, I was about the only person there apart from Hamell that was over 23, so it was encouraging to see younger kids getting on the Bush must go train. It was rabid. His ...

V for Vendetta/White House Correspondents Dinner

WARNING: SPOILERS I took the kid to see V for Vendetta tonight, then got home to read about the White House Correspondents Dinner, where Stephen Colbert lit into the Smirking Moron, the idiot generals, and the acquiescent press corps, all the while doing his Bill O'Reilly impression. From the pix I have seen, Little Lord Pissypants was not amused. So back to V for Vendetta. In the White House dinner, a Bush imitator walked out and did dueling bushes. In V, a comedian on a Fox-like network under a fascist state has dueling "chancellors" (the nazi big cheese) on a show, both of whom order a firing squad to shoot the other one. They both yell fire at the same time, and the confused ...
