Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder, Jr. on Monday announced the creation of a task force within the Justice Department to combat an “escalating danger” from “homegrown” terrorists within the United States. It sailed through easily, 345 to 59. The Arkansas Senate passed a bill to ban tattoos, piercings and other similar body modifications which it characterizes as “non-traditional,” recently. Senator Missy Irvin of Mountain View, Arkansas sponsored the bill entitled ”An Act To Limit Body Art Procedures”. She says that body modifications should be limited to “traditional” tattoos and piercings. Yesterday I wrote about a risible lawsuit filed by about 100 cops in Seattle that claimed their constitutional rights to things like performing reasonable search and seizures were being threatened by a Department of Justice-mandated use of force policy they claimed made them afraid of doing their jobs.
