Detroit mother Maryanne Godboldo found in neglect for refusing to medicate daughter with psychiatric drugs

(NaturalNews) Detroit mom Maryanne Godboldo, who was subjected to an armed SWAT team assault on her home during an attempted kidnapping by Child Protective Services, has been found in neglect today by a Wayne County juvenile court. The jury of that court was somehow persuaded to believe that Maryanne's refusal to continue drugging her daughter with Risperdal, a mind-altering psychiatric drug used to "treat" ADHD, equated to parental neglect. It is a sad day in America when even juries are so brainwashed by Big Pharma advertising and mainstream media propaganda that they believe refusing to drug your own teenage daughter is proof of poor parenting. Judge Ronald Giles of ...

Repression in Israel and Bahrain

Repression in Israel and Bahrain - by Stephen Lendman On August 8, London Guardian writer Ian Black headlined, "Bahrain protests: 'The repression is getting worse,' " saying: Bahraini police grabbed Hassan Ali Salman. One "forc(ed) his T-shirt roughly up over his head as three or four others laid in with wooden batons, dragging and pushing him to a line of waiting Land Cruisers and more helmeted cops." He's one of many victims in an "ugly....cat-and-mouse routine of protest and repression in this Gulf island state." Secretly filmed, "it exposes what Bahrain's western-backed government prefers foreigners not to see." Numerous other ...

Well since the top leaders of CON gress and Sen ASS tors have chosen and anointed their "Super Congress" the rest of the lame CON gress and Sen ASS tors can now be fired! Since we have a new level of UNCONSTITUTIONAL government that has not been elected by the people as a whole, but has been anointed by a few, we can all expect them to be completely bias and UNCONSTITUTIONAL in all their decisions! What I have not understood is two things with this "Super CON gress" is first those who voted on the debt ceiling bill, have now voted out any power or control they had with their own office. They have made their own votes and voices mute! The second thing I have not ...

The next time you see a LEO beating, tazering, or even shooting someone w/o any reasonable cause, ... thank him/her for their service! The next time you hear of a troop on or off a "killing squad" kill an innocent woman or child, ... thank them for their service! If you get beaten or threatened with violence for having done absolutely nothing, ... thank those screwing you for their service! The next time you hear about a "wrong door" SWAT Team assault, particularly if they kill the pets of the innocents, ... thank them for their service! The next time we see an inevitable video of Daniel Harless, one of Canton, OH's biggest and best "heroes," threaten ...

Rutherford Institute Files Amended Complaint in Defense of ‘Redneck Not Racist’ K-12 Bus Driver Fired for Displaying Confederate Flag on His Vehicle GRANTS PASS, Ore. — The Rutherford Institute has filed an amended First Amendment lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of Oregon on behalf of a 28-year-old K-12 bus driver who was fired for displaying a Confederate flag (with the word "redneck" emblazoned across it) on his personal vehicle. Kenneth Webber was fired on March 8, 2011, five days after being suspended for refusing to comply with an order that the flag be removed from his truck while it was parked in the employee parking lot. The amended complaint comes in ...

The Greatest Depression

The Greatest Depression - by Stephen Lendman One sign is the enormous worldwide financial shock, erasing nearly $8 trillion of equity wealth since late July. Another is teetering global economies, notably across Europe and America. Still another is growing poverty, deprivation, and despair for millions without jobs, enough income, or futures. Combined they indicate Depression in its early stages and deepening. In 2008, trends analyst Gerald Celente predicted it, saying: "All levels of government will be caught up in the private sector collapse as tax bases shrink and tax revenues sharply decline. Attempts to make up shortfalls by raising taxes, tuition and tolls, and imposing ...

New York Times Opposition to Palestinian Self-Determination

New York Times Opposition to Palestinian Self-Determination - by Stephen Lendman In September, when the General Assembly meets (beginning 9/13), Palestinians will seek de jure UN membership. Unless current policy changes, it will ask for official recognition as an independent sovereign state. Currently, it has Observer State Status only, denying its right to vote. Israel opposes recognition. So does Obama, both Houses of Congress, and The New York Times. Earlier articles explained the following: (1) Last March, Israel told UN Security Council members and other prominent EU countries it will act unilaterally if the General Assembly grants Palestine de jure membership in September inside ...

Vilifying Muslims in America

Vilifying Muslims in America - by Stephen Lendman Judge nations by how they treat all people, whether equally, or advantaging some over others. Judge them harshly if they persecute some for political advantage. In America, people of color and Muslims are fair game. It's longstanding policy based on prejudicial attitudes, stereotypes, deep-seated racism, and notions of corrupted Western values, high-mindedness, and moral superiority. Post-9/11, in fact, Muslims are perceived as barbaric, violent, uncivilized, gun-toting terrorists, easily targeted, accused, prosecuted, convicted and imprisoned - not for wrongdoing, for their faith in American at the wrong time. As a result, it's ...

America's Cratering Economy - by Stephen Lendman Slow-motion fiscal collapse perhaps explains its current state after decades of mismanagement, accelerated under Bush and Obama. The chickens are now coming home to roost big time, hitting ordinary people hardest, suffering under a protracted Main Street Depression. More on that below. Last April 18, Standard & Poor (S & P) downgraded its rating on America to negative, saying: S & P "affirmed its 'AAA' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term sovereign credit ratings on the US. (It also) revised its outlook on the long-term rating of the US sovereign to negative from stable....(W)e now believe (US strengths may) ...

A friend of mine today told me that one of his coworkers w/ MD tags got pulled over by a Park Police pig recently for, get this, expired emissions inspection. $165 The thing here is that how did he know to pull her over since that was not something that can be determined from looking at the tags, vehicle, etc.? Must have been OCR, those devices that read the plates. Just a heads up. Pretty soon this will be expanded to home intrusions too no doubt!

Filling Prison Beds for Profit - by Stephen Lendman At yearend 2010, America's prison population topped 2.4 million, including federal and state facilities, local jails, Indian, juvenile, and military ones, US territories, and numbers held by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In addition, over seven million more are under correctional supervision, and over 13 million pass through US prisons and jails annually. About 70% are for nonviolent offenses. Nearly half of those are drug-related. In 1980, 40,000 drug offenders were imprisoned. It's now over 500,000, victimized by unfair "war on drugs" laws. Since 1970, America's prison population grew eightfold. ...

Jackson Man Jailed For Shingling his own roof(land of the free alert)

The shingles that Andrew Espey put up two years ago are holding up well, but the legal battle that came with them is far from over. It all started when Espey decided to re–shingle his roof after discovering a leak. Espey says, "The building inspector came along and told me I couldn't do it. He told me I had to quit and take off the shingles and start over because they have a code." A Minnesota state residential code says that new asphalt shingles cannot be installed without first removing exist shingles, and on one section of the roof Espey was installing new shingles over the old. Espey says, "They didn't tell me I couldn't overlay shingles when I got my ...

I'm excited to be speaking at an important conference upcoming at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Mass. I'd like to invite you to attend (at no charge). It's called the Conference on the Constitutional Convention, and more info can be found at conconcon.org From both the Right and the Left, citizens are increasingly coming to recognize that our Republic does not work as our Framers intended. Reform of any kind is stalled by those who profit from the status quo. The Framers created the Article V Constitutional Convention as a way to escape captured government: If two-thirds of the state legislatures pass resolutions calling for a convention, then all sides will have the ...

Budget Cutting Perfidy - by Stephen Lendman It's all over but the mourning. After weeks of tooing-and-frooing theater, Obama signed the deal from hell. Understand clearly what happened. A bipartisan conspiracy took step one to ending America's social contract. Subsequent ones will follow. On the chopping block are Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and publicly funded pensions, heading perhaps first for privatization while slash and burn cuts continue. In addition, all other New Deal/Great Society programs are earmarked for elimination. But don't expect political Washington or America's media to explain. Raising the debt ceiling was subterfuge, a scam. For decades ...

Idaho police tell man to stop wearing bunny suit

SALMON, Idaho (Reuters) - Police in Idaho Falls said on Tuesday they have told a 34-year-old man to stop wearing a bunny suit in public after residents complained that he has been frightening children. Police warned Idaho Falls resident William Falkingham after a woman said she saw him dressed in the costume, peeking at her young son from behind a tree and pointing his finger like a gun, according to a police report. An investigation of the sighting led officers to question other neighbors, "who expressed that they were greatly disturbed by Falkingham and his bunny suit," the report said. Neighbors also reported that Falkingham occasionally wears a tutu with the bunny suit, ...

Andy Hoffman (www.torreyhillscapital.com) I know it's early on a Monday morning, but I had to give my take on the "deal" announced last night by our sham of a President and Congress. Normally nothing shocks me anymore in the seething cauldron of corruption we call America, but even I am taken aback by the gall of these disgusting people. I literally felt ill when Obama interrupted a feel good story about Mark Wahlberg on "60 Minutes" last night to give his speech, literally screaming at the TV (ask my wife) with a lust I last showed during Bush's II's initial "we are attacking Iraq" speech in March 2002. As you are all aware, I predicted in my ...

Hard Right Extremism in America and Europe - by Stephen Lendman Anders Breivik's July 22 Oslo rampage highlighted a problem far greater than him, a topic three previous articles discussed, stopping short of what this article addresses. More on how Europe is affected below. In America, hardline anti-government groups like the Sovereign Citizen movement highlight how far right America's shifted since the 1980s. Their adherents (Sovereigns) believe they alone should decide what laws to obey or ignore, not elected officials, judges, juries or law enforcement bodies. They also oppose paying taxes, promote racial hate, attract white supremacists, and resort to violence to assert their ...

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (WUSA) -- Eleven-year-old aspiring veterinarian, Skylar Capo, sprang into action the second she learned that a baby woodpecker in her Dad's backyard was about to be eaten by the family cat. "I've just always loved animals," said Skylar Capo. "I couldn't stand to watch it be eaten." Skylar couldn't find the woodpecker's mother, so she brought it to her own mother, Alison Capo, who agreed to take it home. "She was just going to take care of it for a day or two, make sure it was safe and uninjured, and then she was going to let it go," said Capo. But on the drive home, the Capo family stopped at a Lowes in Fredericksburg ...

Bipartisan Debt Deal Betrayal - by Stephen Lendman Seven previous articles explained the following: (1) Bipartisan lying manipulated popular sentiment to believe what political Washington won't tolerate - defaulting or not raising the debt ceiling. In fact, it's been done routinely 74 times since 1962, including 10 times in the last decade. Moreover, whatever may unfold ahead, default won't happen now, and top officials know it. In addition as Ellen Brown explains in her latest article headlined, "Bipartisan 'Russian Roulette' and America's Federal Debt: The Debt Ceiling Is Unconstitutional," authority under the 14th Amendment's Section 4 mandates ...
