How many people live in your home? Are any of them Hispanic? Are the people who live in your home citizens? How big is your home? Do you have difficulty making decisions or climbing stairs? How much do you pay for your sewage system? Are you married? What's your rent or mortgage payment? Do you own an automobile? Are you on food stamps? How much money do you make? These are just a sample of the highly detailed and personal questions asked in the mandatory American Community Survey the U.S. Census Bureau will send to a sample of some 3 million U.S. households in addition to the 2010 Census. Refusing to answer the questions or answering them incorrectly will subject citizens to hefty ...
Received Census Form Today Post Date: 2010-03-16 19:08:18 by F.A. Hayek Fan

So I received my census form today. The only questions that it asked was how many people live in the house, their names, how they are related to me, whether they lived here full time, what race everyone is, their names and birthdays. That's it. I answered everything because they were all legitimate questions IMHO. The only thing that might give them fits is that I did not give them my phone number and for race I clicked the other box and wrote in "American" for all of us.

WHY SHOULD YOUR CHILDREN PAY FOR MY RETIREMENT? Post Date: 2010-03-16 08:16:04 by DeaconBenjamin

For the same reason that my children will pay for yours: because the government has offered them a deal: it will pay for our retirement. The problem is, Social Security goes bust this year. If you don't believe me, click here: www.garynorth.com/public/6059.cfm The government has promised to pay for my retirement and yours. How? Congress has stuck a gun in the collective bellies of all of America's workers and has said, "You owe the IRS the money to fund millions of oldsters. Your turn will come. Trust us." What if our children ever decide that Congress's promises are not reliable? What if they decide that their children - our grandchildren - will decide to stiff ...
Talking Points vs. Realty Post Date: 2010-03-16 07:54:02 by Eric Stratton

Talking Points vs. Realty Thomas Sowell Tuesday, March 16, 2010 In a swindle that would make Bernie Madoff look like an amateur, Barack Obama has gotten a substantial segment of the population to believe that he can add millions of people to the government-insured rolls without increasing the already record-breaking federal deficit. Those who think in terms of talking points, instead of realities, can point to the fact that the Congressional Budget Office has concurred with budget numbers that the Obama administration has presented. Anyone who is so old-fashioned as to stop and think, instead of being swept along by rhetoric, can understand that a budget-- any budget-- is not a record of ...

Just 13% Say Its Illegal Not To Answer Census Questions Monday, March 15, 2010 As 120 million U.S. Census forms begin to arrive in mailboxes around the country, only 13% of Americans realize that it is illegal not to answer all of the Census questions. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 57% of adults think - incorrectly - that it is not against the law to not answer all the questions on the Census. Another 30% are not sure. Fifty-three percent (53%) of adults say the Census simply counts the number of people in the United States along with gathering some basic information. However, 22% believe the Census asks detailed personal questions. One-in-four ...
Obama Approves of DNA Sampling Upon Arrest Post Date: 2010-03-15 15:44:03 by noone222

Josh Gerstein over at Politico sent Threat Level his piece underscoring once again President Barack Obama is not the civil-liberties knight in shining armor many were expecting.
Gerstein posts a televised interview of Obama and John Walsh of America’s Most Wanted. The nation’s chief executive extols the virtues of mandatory DNA testing of Americans upon arrest, even absent charges or a conviction. Obama said, “It’s the right thing to do” to “tighten the grip around folks” who commit crime.
When it comes to civil liberties, the Obama administration has come under fire for often mirroring his predecessor’s practices surrounding state secrets, the Patriot Act and ...

So when I got home tonight I found a letter waiting for me from the Census Bureau, telling me that I should fill out all of the information on the census form so that my town can get it's "fair share" of governmental goodies. I don't know about anyone else, but the only thing I am filling out on that form is how many people live in my home. When they send a live person to my home, then I am going to ask them if they have a warrant. When they tell me they do not need one then I will plead the 5th and shut the door on their faces. I am ready to take this as far as I can take it in the court system.

Mike Corrigan doesn't want to be anybody's villain or a neighborhood hero. He's just a guy who wants to see his West Beverly neighborhood packed with white people and no one else. "What's so wrong with that?" he said. Corrigan, 62, drew protests and television camera crews to the front yard of his Chicago home Wednesday after the racially charged messages he's had tacked along a fence in his back yard attracted widespread attention. The signs read, "Say no to the ghetto," "White power" and "Mt. Greenwood - the next Englewood." A smaller sticker read, "White Pride Worldwide," and a tiny noose hung from the soffit of ...

If they had a legal search warrant they would of just busted down the door like they normally do. Watch and understand what you see. Its a multitude of constitutional violations committed by law enforcement against a US citizen.

Poster Comment:The Connections between the MOB, The CIA and especially George Herbert Walker Bush are undeniable. Bush should be hunted down and strung up to the nearest oak tree. He and his freak family have robbed, raped, and murdered Americans with impunity. I'd sure enjoy watching that old cockroach hanging limp from a lamp post with a stretched neck and his name sake with all of his cronies crying for mercy waiting their turn to dance with the hangman.
Oversight panel blasts $17.2 billion bailout of GMAC Post Date: 2010-03-11 12:26:12 by DeaconBenjamin

A congressional watchdog today criticizes the $17.2 billion bailout of auto financier GMAC, saying the Treasury Department missed opportunities to protect taxpayers' money. "It is unclear whether the U.S. taxpayer will recoup the investments made in GMAC," the Congressional Oversight Panel, set up to oversee the government's $700 billion bailout, says in a report out today. Government accountants estimate that taxpayers will lose at least $6.3 billion of their investment in GMAC. The congressional panel also found it "baffling" that the government decided to bail out GMAC in the first place, noting that the firm posed no risk to the broader financial system. ...

Concerns about an Oregon Department of Transportation employee who purchased several guns after being placed on leave prompted law enforcement across Southern Oregon to step in. Negotiators and a SWAT team from Medford police safely took a man whose name wasn't released into protective custody Monday morning in the 500 block of Effie Street, Medford police said in a news release. He was taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center for a mental-health evaluation. The man recently had been placed on administrative leave from his job and was "very disgruntled," the news release said. ODOT Communications Director Patrick Cooney said there were administrative, personnel ...
Houston judge backs off ruling that death penalty unconstitutional Post Date: 2010-03-10 08:26:54 by DeaconBenjamin

A Houston judge who ruled last week that the procedures surrounding the Texas death penalty are unconstitutional rescinded his ruling Tuesday to schedule a hearing for lawyers on both sides to submit arguments on the issue. State District Judge Kevin Fine said, in effect, he was holding his ruling in abeyance until April 12, when prosecutors and lawyers for capital murder defendant John Green can submit briefs. A hearing was scheduled for April 27. Fine reiterated that his ruling was limited to whether the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure allows for the execution of innocent people. He said there was no precedent to guide him. There's nothing in my research that says it is OK ...

A Detention Bill You Ought to Read More Carefully Mar 5 2010, 3:40 PM ET Why is the national security community treating the "Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010," introduced by Sens. John McCain and Joseph Lieberman on Thursday as a standard proposal, as a simple response to the administration's choices in the aftermath of the Christmas Day bombing attempt? A close reading of the bill suggests it would allow the U.S. military to detain U.S. citizens without trial indefinitely in the U.S. based on suspected activity. Read the bill here, and then read the summarized points after the jump.According to the summary, the bill sets out a ...
The Constitution Does Not Protect Our Property Post Date: 2010-03-09 13:33:19 by christine

The U.S. Constitution is widely believed to have been written to limit the powers of the federal government and protect the rights of its citizens. Inexplicably, this belief is held even by those who acknowledge that the constitutional convention was called for the express purpose of expanding the powers of the federal government, supposedly because the government under the Articles of Confederation was too weak. That this was the purpose of the convention is not a disputed fact. Nevertheless, most people who care at all about the Constitution continue to believe and promote the Constitution as protector of rights myth. To the extent that the Constitution enumerates certain ...

God Hates Fags case gets Supreme Court reviewThe US Supreme Court has agreed to consider whether vitriolic anti-gay protesters who picket the funerals of US soldiers are protected by free speech laws. The emotionally-charged case was brought by the family of US Marine Matthew Snyder, who was killed in combat in Iraq in 2006. His family organized a private Christian funeral for him in Maryland that attracted members of the radical Westboro Church led by Baptist preacher Fred Phelps. Phelps and his congregation regularly demonstrate at military funerals, carrying inflammatory signs to draw attention to their anti-gay message. The religious group protest at the funerals of soldiers, ...

Public Sector Unions Tarnish the Golden State Carol Platt Liebau Monday, March 08, 2010 Karl Marx insisted that history repeats itself, first as tragedy and then as farce. It seems that at least some of Californias teachers are determined to prove him right. Last week, teachers in the San Francisco area planned to take their students out of school in order to attend a protest about proposed cuts in education spending. According to a piece in the SF Public Press, children as young as five years old were slated to attend under the auspices of their schools, until the superintendent quashed the idea because of safety concerns. Aside from the disturbing specter of children being used ...

He intends to ask state lawmakers about passing a bill that counts inmates at their address ...
