There were some reports out in the last month or so, on SOS Clinton and China. Where it was reported, that she "gave" China the "right" over some of our land, if we default on our debt. I have to go out of town today, to take care of my Dad. If anyone knows a link or even the whole article, can you please post it here, so I can show it to a friend? Thanks..

A Virginia pro-life group reports it has been listed as an "extremist" organization in a state report. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a report last week that created quite a storm, claiming certain groups of people are at risk for being or becoming "extremists" as members of "right-wing" organizations. That report identified no specific groups. But Dennis Green of Life & Liberty Ministries received a call from a friend who found his group's name listed on a state report. "Our ministry was named as being a potential domestic terrorist in a report," says Green. "It was the '2009 Virginia Terrorist [Threat] ...

When people Don Bain didn’t know took up residence in the garage-slash-apartment in his backyard a couple of weeks ago, he thought he’d be able to have them thrown out. He didn’t figure the police would side with the “squatters,” as he calls them. He didn’t expect that after installing new locks to keep them out, he’d be asked by an officer to open the doors and let them back in. He could not have predicted that, on another occasion, the police would allow the people to break a window to get back in, he said. Bain and his wife, Peggy, feel trapped in their home, with a rotating cast of people living in the large detached shop that sits several yards from ...

(04-17) 16:57 PDT DALLAS (AP) -- A judge has ruled that former President George W. Bush should be deposed in a lawsuit challenging the site of his proposed presidential library. Bush's attorneys were working Friday on an appeal that would trigger an immediate stay of state District Judge Martin Hoffman's ruling. The library is to be built on the Southern Methodist University campus. Two former condominium owners are suing, claiming SMU bullied them into selling their property without disclosing plans for it. Attorneys for the property owners want to know whether SMU officials told Bush of their plans. The plaintiffs have obtained statements from top SMU officials and former ...

Obama Administration Won't Challenge Rule On Guns In National Parks And Wildlife Refuges

The Obama administration said Friday it will not appeal a federal court ruling that prohibits carrying loaded guns in national parks and wildlife refuges. Instead, the Interior Department said it will conduct a full environmental review of an earlier policy that allowed concealed, loaded guns in parks and refuges. U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly struck down the gun policy last month. She called the rule, issued in the waning days of the Bush administration, severely flawed and said officials failed to evaluate its possible environmental impacts, as required by law. The judge set an April 20 deadline for the Interior Department to indicate its likely response. The Bush rule, ...

After taking over the banks and Detroit, is the nation’s gun industry Obama’s next target? By Andrew Snyder, TodaysFinancialNews.com Baltimore – (TFN): The gun battles have begun. After a rash of killings over the past few weeks, politicians are seizing the opportunity to prey upon America’s emotions. They want to strike while the barrels are still hot. As I picked up the morning’s newspaper, I realized the headline was sure to stir the angst of any Second Amendment supporter. In my home state of Pennsylvania, the ...

MEXICO CITY - President Barack Obama, outlining plans to help Mexico combat drug violence, promised Thursday to resurrect a treaty against arms trafficking that has been stuck in Congress for 12 years but rebuffed Mexico's demands to curb sales of assault weapons in the United States. Speaking during his first official trip to Mexico, Obama said he will try to persuade lawmakers to finally approve the treaty known as CIFTA, which was signed by President Bill Clinton in 1997 but has never been ratified by the U.S. Senate. However, Obama showed little appetite for reviving the 1994-2004 Assault Weapons Ban. During a joint press conference in Mexico City, Mexican President Felipe ...

WASHINGTON: The Chinese cyber spies have penetrated so deep into the US system — ranging from its secure defence network, banking system, electricity grid to putting spy chips into its defence planes — that it can cause serious damage to the US any time, a top US official on counter-intelligence has said. “Chinese penetrations of unclassified DoD networks have also been widely reported. Those are more sophisticated, though hardly state of the art,” said National Counterintelligence Executive, Joel Brenner, at the Austin University Texas last week, according to a transcript made available on Wednesday. Listing out some of the examples of Chinese cyber spy penetration, ...

The Regime has made it official that "right-wing extremism" is a threat to Homeland Security. That political genus is divided into two species – "white supremacist and anti-government groups" – with the latter further differentiated into various sub-species, including immigration reform activists, "disgruntled military veterans," gun rights advocates, members of citizen militia groups, anti-globalists, constitutionalists, "hate groups," and others deemed politically unsuitable by the Regime. Less than two years ago, Congress enacted – by a vote of 404–6 – the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act. Its ...

Equipped to be a Killer (April 9, 2009) There is a funny story about a woman who rowed her husband's boat out for a little solitude. While she was enjoying the fresh air and sunshine a Park Ranger pulled up alongside and asked to see her fishing license. When she told him she didn't have one he said that he was going to write her a ticket because, even though she was just sitting in the boat reading, there was fishing equipment in the boat. The woman replied that she wanted to charge the Ranger with rape then because, even though he was just sitting in his boat talking, he had all of the necessary equipment. Unfortunately, in the real world, the woman's quick wit would ...

Politics Napolitano Apologizes, But Why? by Liz Halloran NPR.org, April 16, 2009 · Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano apologized Thursday for references to the potential recruitment of military veterans by extremists that appeared in a recent assessment of the threat of domestic right-wing groups. But was her mea culpa really necessary? The verdict is mixed. What isn't in question is the conservative firestorm that, fairly or not, has greeted the leaked memo. The document, which makes no references to conservatives, outlined for law enforcement officials nationwide the economic and political conditions that could drive a resurgence of activity in far corners of ...

WASHINGTON - The National Security Agency intercepted private e-mail messages and phone calls of Americans in recent months on a scale that went beyond the broad legal limits established by Congress last year, government officials said in recent interviews. Several intelligence officials, as well as lawyers briefed about the matter, said the N.S.A. had been engaged in “overcollection” of domestic communications of Americans. They described the practice as significant and systemic, although one official said it was believed to have been unintentional. The legal and operational problems surrounding the N.S.A.’s surveillance activities have come under scrutiny from the Obama ...

**UPDATE ADDED BELOW!** Recycling the mid-1990s liberal smear campaign against grassroots conservatism, CNN has posted an article on the new DHS threat report complete with a Getty Images photo (shown at right) of neo-Nazi and white supremacist flags. If the report were about Nazi extremists, that picture would be warranted. However, the DHS report warns against an amorphous “right-wing extremism,” failing to mention by name any particular threatening group or intelligence of any planned attacks. The DHS report did cite returning war veterans as at-risk for recruitment by right-wing extremist groups. It seems strange to think that those men and women who risked their lives to ...

(04-15) 15:46 PDT New York (AP) -- A baseball fan who says he was ejected from Yankee Stadium by police after he left his seat to use the bathroom during the playing of "God Bless America" sued the New York Yankees and the city on Wednesday. Bradford Campeau-Laurion says in his federal lawsuit his rights were violated at an Aug. 26 game between the Yankees and the Boston Red Sox when he tried to pass a police officer. The lawsuit said the officer did not let him take a step before grabbing his right arm and twisting it behind him. It said two officers marched him down several ramps to the stadium's exit, where he was pushed out as one officer told him to leave the country ...

1 hr 30 mins ago WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama declared on tax-filing day that he aims to take the dread out of deadline day. Obama said at a White House event Wednesday that he's working toward "a simpler tax code that rewards work and the pursuit of the American dream." "For too long, we've seen taxes used as a wedge to scare people into supporting policies that increased the burden on working people instead of helping them live their dreams," Obama said. "That has to change, and that's the work that we've begun." Obama also met at the White House with several working families to mark April 15 — known notoriously as ...

To gain a good perspective on how the Pentagon and the CIA view the Constitution, all one has to do is consider what they’ve done with their prison camps in Cuba and Afghanistan. Keep in mind, first of all, what the Constitution is. It is the supreme law of the land that we the people have imposed on federal officials, including those people serving in the military and paramilitary forces of the federal government. While our American ancestors understood the need for a federal government, they also understood that that same government would constitute the biggest threat to their freedom and well-being. The way they dealt with that threat was to use the Constitution and the Bill of ...

HR20-New Mother's Mandated Mental Health Test-JUST PASSED HOUSE

A sweeping government policy for all new births in the United States has just passed the House of Representatives and is now headed to the Senate. The Mother's Act, if passed, will mandate that all new mothers be screened by means of a list of subjective questions that will determine if each mother is mentally fit to take their newborn home from the hospital. Just imagine that after your child is born, you are told that you can't take them home since a multiple choice questionnaire wasn't answered correctly. Just imagine being told that the only way you can take your child home is if you or your spouse goes into treatment or on anti-depressants which we know causes psychosis, ...

(updated below - Update II - Update III) In the last week alone, the Obama DOJ (a) attempted to shield Bush's illegal spying programs from judicial review by (yet again) invoking the very "state secrets" argument that Democrats spent years condemning and by inventing a brand new "sovereign immunity" claim that not even the Bush administration espoused, and (b) argued that individuals abducted outside of Afghanistan by the U.S. and then "rendered" to and imprisoned in Bagram have no rights of any kind -- not even to have a hearing to contest the accusations against them -- even if they are not Afghans and were captured far away from any ...
