First off, I need to explain Wendover. Wendover is the beating heart of the Great Basin Desert. My Coyote Guide told me that Wendover is the heart of the universe, so I'm not about to dispute Coyote Guide. Wendover is a quaint little berg located 120 miles west of the Mormons' Salt Lake City and 120 miles east of Elko, Nevada. Elko, Nevada is famous for gold mines and well, gold mines. Federal District Court Judge Henry Kennedy issued an order in the summer of 2005 directing the government to preserve all evidence in the case and ordered the government to appear before his court last month to answer charges that the tapes may have been covered by that order.
