MEXICO - Vicente Fox has solution for drug cartels: "LEGALIZE DRUGS" [Full Thread] Post Date: 2010-08-10 11:26:55 by HAPPY2BME-4UM

Mexico Ex-President Fox Calls for Drug LegalizationFormer Mexican President Vicente Fox said his country should legalize the production and sale of drugs in order to curb rising cartel-related violence. Legalizing narcotics would curtail funding to organized crime groups, who are using profits from the drug trade to consolidate power, Fox wrote yesterday on his personal website. Radical prohibition strategies have never worked, Fox said. The cost of the fight against organized crime, and in particular narcotics trafficking, has been enormous in our country. The drug war has killed 28,000 people in Mexico since late 2006, when President Felipe Calderon entered ...

JD HAYWORTH GAME CHANGING: John McCain "I Chose Lying" Post Date: 2010-08-08 10:54:05 by HAPPY2BME-4UM

McCain, "I chose lying" Flip-flop is a mild word to describe McCain's position on issues. After being a lead sponsor of Amnesty legislation, he now pretends to support law enforcement efforts to stop the illegal alien invasion. Before that, McCain was a key figure in persuading Congress to abandon Missing in Action POWs left in VietNam. He has also supported the official government cover-up of the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty. One could go on. Anyone whom McCain supports is tainted, IMO.

Bankruptcy 101...why Arizona did the right thing!! It's easy to dismiss individual programs that benefit non-citizens until they're put together and this picture emerges. Someone did a lot of research to put together all of this data. Often these programs are buried within other programs making them difficult to find. A Real Eye Opener WHY is the USABANKRUPT? I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I also have included the URL's for verification of all the following facts... 1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state ...

Ive followed the immigration debate for several years now. Much has changed in that time. Lately, the change seems to be accelerating. Five years ago, Arizonas senators John McCain and Jon Kyl were two of the biggest supporters of the George W. Bush amnesty. In the Senate, we were offered a choice between the McCain/Kennedy amnesty and the Kyl/Cornyn amnesty. At the time, the latter was advertised as a compromise bill, and the GOP leadership clumsily attempted to ram it down the throats of the conservative base. Back then, Arizona was a moderate state on illegal immigration. Janet Napolitano was Governor of Arizona. John McCain proudly wore the ...

Theyre Getting Closer: Immigration Impacting Mass. Governors Race By Matthew Richer Theres an old saying in Boston regarding the attitude of whites toward blacks: In the North, its not how high they get, its how close they get. But in the South, its not how close they get, its how high they get. In other words, Northerners, especially those in Massachusetts, are happy to have minorities in positions of influencejust as long as they dont move into the neighborhood. In contrast, Southerners often dont mind living in close proximity to blacksbut they are usually uncomfortable with having blacks in positions of ...

The Next Front on Immigration - ANCHOR BABIES NewsWeek August 4th, 2010 Arizonas tough immigration law is just the beginning of the conservative battle to clamp down on illegal immigrants. A broader fight is comingpossibly even to change the U.S. Constitution. Sen. Lindsey Graham made headlines last week, telling Fox News hes considering a constitutional change to revise the right, enshrined in the 14th Amendment, that grants automatic citizenship to any child born in the United States. He would revoke this right for children of illegal immigrants. Its called drop and leave, Graham said, and while he added that he wanted to be ...

Arizona: A Revolutionary Line in the Sand? By Doug Hagmann August 3, 2010 I believe that history will show that the passage of SB 1070 by Arizona, and the federal governments lawsuit to stop its implementation will be regarded the first battle of the 21st century American Revolution. Although not a single shot was fired- yet, the battle lines have clearly been drawn. Never before in the modern history of our country have all of the elements been in place for a war between our government and the citizenry of the United States. We stand at a proverbial and historic flashpoint as Obama plans to use the foot soldiers created by comprehensive immigration reform, ...

SHALLOW VICTORY BY THE WHITE HOUSE ON IMMIGRATION AGAINST ARIZONA In a pointedly articulate opinion piece in the Denver Post, Hollow victory on immigration, July 30, 2010, editors pointed out the irony and incongruity of President Barack Obamas blockage via Judge Susan Bolten of Arizonas SB 1070 law. That law specifically followed federal laws already on the books to deport illegal aliens in that state. Arizona suffers 460,000 illegal aliens rampaging through its schools, stores, hospitals and prisons. Those illegals cost every lawful Arizona taxpayers over $1,000.00 annually in Arizona. Those illegals steal 57,000 cars on average annually in Arizona making it the ...

Dont forget John McCain voted to give Social Security benefits to illegal aliens While Sen. John McCain is facing re-election this year, and has suddenly become concerned with securing our border with Mexico, and claims he has never supported amnesty, his own record tells another story. Though McCain wrote the amnesty bill (a.k.a. Comprehensive Immigration Reform) in 2007 with his liberal pal Sen. Ted Kennedy, he now claims that he has never supported the policy of amnesty. Of course, McCain says this because he does not consider his bill as such because of the fines and background checks which to which illegal aliens would supposedly have been subject, under ...

Sanctuary cities become new target in immigration debate In this July 22, 2010 photo, an illegal immigrant day laborer waits for work in Chandler, Ariz. As the days tick down until the Arizona immigration law takes effect, the state stands as a monument to the anger over illegal immigration that is present in so many places. The anger has been simmering for years, and erupted into a full-blown fury with the murder of a prominent rancher on the border earlier this year. The killing became a powerful rallying cry for immigration reform, but it does not tell the whole story about how Arizona got to this point. Opponents of the Justice Department's lawsuit challenging the enforcement of ...

While rumors of Mexican drug cartels taking over Texas ranches swirled across the internet last week, Laredo police reported that they had been deluged with calls from concerned citizens across the United States. Since then, the story has reportedly been completely debunked by those on the right and the left. The Laredo Morning Times reported that Officials know nothing of rumored Zeta standoff on Mines Road. While there is no doubt that the immigration problem needs to be addressed, don't look for the criminal federal government to do anything about it anytime soon. Both parties are satisfied with the status quo; massive unchecked illegal immigration has gone on for years and despite ...

GOP Lawmakers Want Explanation of Draft Memo on Amnesty for Thousands A group of Republican senators has written to top immigration officials in the Obama administration asking them to reveal whether large-scale plans are under way to provide a so-called non-legislative version of amnesty. The lawmakers cite an 11-page draft document written by staff to the director of the Citizenship and Immigration Service that says they are reviewing several executive orders and other mechanisms that effectively would serve as a substitute for comprehensive immigration reforms. The objective would be to promote family unity, foster economic growth

With Congress gridlocked on an immigration bill, the Obama administration is considering using a back door to stop deporting many illegal immigrants - what a draft government memo said could be "a non-legislative version of amnesty." The memo, addressed to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Alejandro Mayorkas and written by four agency staffers, lists tools it says the administration has to "reduce the threat of removal" for many illegal immigrants who have run afoul of immigration authorities. "In the absence of comprehensive immigration reform, USCIS can extend benefits and/or protections to many individuals and groups by issuing new guidance and ...
