SAN DIEGO – Four people were injured in a gunbattle today involving an attempt to smuggle illegal immigrants from Mexico at the busiest border crossing in the U.S., authorities said. More than 70 people traveling in three vans involved in the incident were in federal custody, said U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokeswoman Angelica DeCima. Details remained sketchy, but van drivers tried to storm past inspectors at the San Ysidro port of entry and make their way into the U.S. without stopping, DeCima said. “It was human smuggling, definitely,” said Lauren Mack, a spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Three of the injured people were in the vans, and ...

Overpopulation - Smells Like A Barn Out Of A Faucet By Frosty Wooldridge 9-19-9 The more the United States adds people, the more water we use, the more food we eat, the more land we cultivate, the more fertilizer we use, the more energy we burn-thus, the more we pollute the air, land and water. Example: the Mississippi River spews millions of gallons of toxic water into the Gulf of Mexico 24/7 to create a 10,000 square mile dead zone. Toxins include fertilizer runoff, insecticides, herbicides, household wastes, sewage and a host of chemicals. Vertebrates cannot live in it, thus, our poisons created a dead ocean area. As humans' ultimate toilet, worldwide, our oceans suffer horrific ...

Fri 18 Sep 2009 10:16College student denied benefits after Mexican illegal alien steals social security numberPosted by: MalcontentCategories: All Posts , Illegal Alien Nation     No Comment    When Michael Meacham began looking for a job after being laid off from a gas station in April, he had no idea of the nightmare ahead of him. Applying to dozens of places without success, Meacham said he completed an online application at Wal-Mart early last month. But when he submitted his Social Security number, the retailer57;s employee database listed the 21-year-old student as already working there. "I was shocked," Meacham said. Grady Memorial Hospital is offering to relocate about 60 outpatient dialysis patients to other states or send them back to their home countries as the hospital prepares to close its dialysis unit. Hospital officials say they are willing to spend thousands of dollars to help relocate each patient and their family, including plane tickets, moving expenses and rent security fees. “We’re committed to ensuring that every patient has a place for care, and every patient gets the right medical care,” said Grady spokesman Matt Gove. But some patients are scared and panicking. They say they cannot move to another state or back to their home country. Many are poor, uninsured and ...

Many Americans have been lulled into a false sense of security by the end of the George W. Bush administration. In reality, the government continues to pose grave perils to people’s rights and liberties. And it could take only one shocking incident for the government to once again show its heavy-handed ways. Prior to the September 11, 2001, attacks, the dark side of the Bush administration was barely evident. But within days after those attacks, the government seized almost any conceivable excuse to lock up anyone it chose to target. At a time when many people are lowering their guard against Leviathan, we should recall how quickly the government razed restraints on its power. The ...

Mexico is outraged over influx of its own citizens

The shoe is on the other foot, and the Mexicans from Sonora don't like it one bit. Can you believe the nerve of these people? It's almost funny. The state of Sonora is angry at the influx of Mexicans into Mexico. Nine state legislators from the state of Sonora traveled to Tucson to complain about Arizona's new employer crackdown on illegal immigrants from Mexico. It seems that many illegal immigrants from Mexico are returning to their hometowns, and the officials in the Sonora state government are ticked off about it. A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson recently to say Arizona's new employer sanctions law will have a devastating effect ...

Ted Kennedy's Immigration Legacy -- And Why Did He Do It?

I was dining in downtown Boston with a long-time acquaintance of Teddy Kennedy at the very time the Senator died a week ago. We had discussed what had caused Kennedy to pursue immigration policies that so fundamentally changed America. I got the news when I awoke the next morning to the Massachusetts TV stations doing their eulogies. I decided to wait until after burial to share my thoughts. Since NumbersUSA is a truly non-partisan and non-ideological organization, I want to choose my words carefully because so many of our members absolutely hated Kennedy while many others of our members truly loved many of Kennedy’s policies (although fully disagreeing with him on immigration). The ...

A bad sign - illegal immigrants are leaving

WHAT EVER HAPPENED to the furor over illegal immigration? Two years ago, the denunciation of “crimmigrants’’ was approaching fever pitch, especially in conservative precincts, and woe betide any candidate who appeared before a Republican audience and failed to denounce “amnesty’’ with every ounce of conviction he could muster. Discuss COMMENTS (161) Now, however, the hysteria seems to have cooled a bit. There was no bellowing when President Obama reiterated during a Mexican summit last month that he intends to press for “a pathway to citizenship’’ for the millions of illegal immigrants living in the United States. News stories highlighted ...

Gunmen kill 17 people at a drug rehab in Mexico Sep 3, 6:37 AM (ET) Gunmen broke into a drug rehabilitation center and shot 17 people dead in a northern Mexican border city, an official said. The attackers on Wednesday broke down the door of El Aliviane center in Ciudad Juarez, lined up their victims against a wall and opened fire, said Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for the regional prosecutors' office. At least five people were injured. Authorities had no immediate suspects or information on the victims. Ciudad Juarez, across the border from El Paso, Texas, is Mexico's most violent city, with at least 1,400 people killed this year alone. Most of the homicides are tied to drug gang ...

Mexico’s Racist Anti-Americanism

Mexico is NOT our friend nor have they ever been a neighbor we can trust. As our Congress considers legislation that would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens anti-Americanism and racism continue to brew in Mexico. While our leaders bow and kiss the ring of 57;guilt activists57; the Mexican government pushes for amnesty because it allows them to continue to push their problems onto us. Anti-amnesty GOP Congressman and Senators are unfairly labeled bigots and shunned by the Bush White House and the GOP leadership for wanting to rightfully crack down on illegal aliens. Yet, when those anti-American forces publicly humiliate America the Bush White House and the RNC oddly remain ...

California's financial unraveling has prompted a long-overdue debate about taxes, regulation, and government spending, but the state's media and government continue to ignore what could be an even greater problem: the irreparable damage to California's human capital that nearly 30 years of unrestrained illegal immigration has achieved. This is not an immigration problem, or even an illegal-immigration problem, per se. A strong case could be made that, in terms of educational achievement, industriousness, and entrepreneurial acumen, Asian immigrants to California have proven superior to white natives of the state. Therefore, if California were to experience a wave of mass ...

Ted Kennedy's Deadly Legacy For America

Teddy Kennedy died yesterday, but his legacy grows more deadly for future Americans. Instead of a rich legacy bequeathed upon the United States by forever U.S. Senator Teddy Kennedy, the oft-intoxicated, blubbery fourth brother of the Kennedy clan-four decades ago--drunkenly drove over a bridge that caused the death of Mary Jo Kopechne and lied about what happened. But his worst and most destructive legacy for the United States stems from his authorship of the 1965 "Immigration Reform Act" that added the bulk of our additional 100 million people into America within 40 years. It jumped legal immigration from 170,000 annually to 1.1 million annually. Added to that disastrous ...

Reform Immigration for America Written by Catherine Mullins Tuesday, 25 August 2009 01:15 The National Council of La Raza is launching a new campaign pushing for immigration reform that would grant illegal aliens in the United States a “path to citizenship” and get it passed before the end of 2009. Imagine this scene: A store owner is robbed of all the cash in his register. The burglar is apprehended, but, instead of being forced to return what he has stolen to its proper owner and be sufficiently penalized, the robber is allowed to keep his ill-gotten gains, then use the windfall as capital to set up a store in competition with the one he just robbed. Outrageous, right? And ...

Hospital not reimbursed for illegal immigrants' dialysis treatments

Tethered to the dialysis machine behind her reclining chair by two tubes attached to a catheter in her chest, Marta Berrera wearily stares at nothing in particular as blood flows out of, and then back into, her body. Every four or five days, she shows up at University Medical Center's emergency room, her failing kidneys requiring that her waste be filtered and excess fluid be removed through artificial means. "I am so thankful to this hospital for doing this for someone who is not a citizen," she said Thursday, an interpreter translating her Spanish as she choked back tears. "Without this help, I would die and my four children would be without a mother." Wrapped ...

Mexican drug smugglers tied to California fire

LOS ANGELES, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Wildfire investigators in California are looking for marijuana growers tied to a Mexican drug cartel whom they suspect ignited a blaze that has charred more than 87,000 acres (35,200 hectares) of a national forest. The La Brea Fire, which erupted Aug. 8 in the Los Padres National Forest in the remote Santa Barbara County mountains northwest of Los Angeles, is believed to be the first major wildfire in the state caused by drug traffickers, U.S. Forest Service spokesman Jim Turner said on Monday. A joint statement issued Saturday night by the Santa Barbara County sheriff's office and the Forest Service said the blaze was sparked by a "cooking fire in ...

Single-Payer Groceries, Anyone?

The American Socialist Party (ASP), whose members entertainingly call themselves "Democrats," is determined to use its control of the executive and legislative branches of government to destroy the private health insurance and healthcare industries in favor of "single-payer" healthcare. Of course, when government is the single payer that means government-run monopoly. Average people instinctively understand that monopoly is never in their best interest, but to politicians who will administer and benefit from the monopoly the thinking is apparently "it’s good to be the monopolist," as Mel Brooks might say. Moreover, there is no reason to believe that they ...

Mexican trucks to storm U.S.

Obama prepares to reopen nation’s roads to long-haul rigs In yet another clear indication that President Obama has no intention of honoring his campaign promise to renegotiate NAFTA, the administration is preparing to present Congress with another set of regulations allowing Mexican long-haul trucks to have free access to U.S. roads. “The proposal [to get Mexican trucks back on U.S. roads] has been through the interagency process . and it is ready to go to the Hill,” Doug Goudie, the trade director at the National Association of Manufacturers told the Washington Times. WND reported on March 12 that one day after signing the $410 billion omnibus funding bill into law, along ...

He didn’t get a majority of the white vote, but some how Bitch Obama was able to get enough white retards to win the presidency. Here’s why I think f**k Face Obama was able to capture so many stupid white people votes: First, some white idiots support his policies. They want to end the war in Iraq, and they want the standard liberal program of socialized medicine, higher taxes, more handouts, and more government. There has always been a substantial minority of weak white people who vote this way, and they have a clear favorite in Mr. Obama. Second, as many people have pointed out, an enormous number of dumbass white people think it is deeply virtuous to vote for a black-not for ...

Suicide--Or Murder? Kaufmann's Rise and Fall of Anglo-America

July 29, 2009 Suicide--Or Murder? Kaufmann's Rise and Fall of Anglo-America By Kevin MacDonald Eric P. Kaufmann’s The Rise and Fall of Anglo-America presents the case that Anglo-America committed what one might call “suicide by idea”: White, Anglo-Saxon Protestants were motivated to give up ethnic hegemony by their attachment to Enlightenment ideals of individualism and liberty. Anglo-Americans simply followed these ideals of the Enlightenment to their logical conclusion. The result: immigration was opened up to all peoples of the world, multiculturalism became the cultural ideal, and WASPS willingly allowed themselves to be displaced from their preeminent position ...

Mexico on the brink

Last month, President Felipe Calderón announced that Mexico was at a crossroads: the country's drug cartels had grown so powerful that they now posed a threat to future of Mexican democracy. As if to underscore his point, the country was last week gripped by a fresh wave of brutal violence, as heavily-armed gunmen laid siege to police stations across Calderón's home state, left a dozen federal agents dead by the side of a mountain highway and assassinated the mayor of a northern ranching town. The cartels' brazen attacks point to their evolution from ragged criminal collectives into de facto military organisations. Better funded, better trained and far more ...
