There has been much discussion about the advisability of letting in more foreign engineers to work in American high-tech companies. Here is a report from an American engineer who wishes to remain anonymous. SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Hundreds of thousands of New Mexicans will receive a one-time payment of $250 through the national stimulus plan President Obama signed in February. The payment will be distributed to about 400,000 people who receive benefits from Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, Veterans Affairs or the Railroad Retirement Board.
