President of National Association of Evangelicals accused of 3-year sexual relationship with gay hooker, and of taking drugs by John in DC - 11/02/2006 11:03:00 AM And he's virulently anti-gay. This guy was on TIME's list of the 25 most influential evangelicals in America. It doesn't get any bigger than this. And he's from Colorado. Wonder what Marilyn Musgrave has to say about this? From 9News in Denver: A gay man and admitted male escort claims he has had an ongoing sexual relationship with a well-known Evangelical pastor from Colorado Springs. Mike Jones told '9 Wants to Know' Investigative Reporter Paula Woodward he has had a "sexual business" relationship with Pastor Ted ...

WEST PALM BEACH -- Conservative columnist Ann Coulter has refused to cooperate in an investigation about whether she voted in the wrong precinct, so the case will likely be turned over to state prosecutors, Palm Beach County's elections chief said Wednesday. Elections Supervisor Arthur Anderson said his office has been looking into the matter for nearly nine months, and he would turn over the case to the state attorney's office by Friday. Coulter's attorney did not immediately return a telephone message Wednesday and her telephone number in Palm Beach is unpublished. A message left for Tara Gilbride, a publicist for Coulter's publisher, The Crown Publishing Group, owned by Random House ...

I am officially adopting this "lecture" as the baseline for any and all arguments on LP regarding Illegal aliens. We here on LP, shall now use the term "illegal alien" whenever we refer to those who have invaded our nation illegally. The remainder of this article is astute and articulate. It should be our baseline argument from this point forward. We need to use the correct terminology, and insist on using it correctly so that our efforts and our arguments are not undermined by inaccuracy, and confused with topics and situations that in reality do not exist. By clearly defining the problem, we are better served in finding accurate and workable solutions. I'm also ...

October 26, 2006 -- People who knew Dick Cheney in Wyoming before he served in the Nixon administration say he always had an unusual penchant for hanging around young girls, some as young as seven years old. Cheney reportedly walked around his Wyoming home in his underwear, sometimes when his two young daughters' friends were visiting. Cheney continues to think of himself as a "rock star" around young girls. In 1969, Cheney left Wyoming for Washington, where he worked for the Cost of Living Council, at the Office of Economic Opportunity, and the White House staff. Cheney served as a Congressman from Wyoming from 1979 to 1989. This was during a time when two major page scandals, ...

October 27/28/29, 2006 -- Legitimate human and civil rights versus a secreted GOP homo-erotic cabal is the real social issue in this election. The GOP is hyping the New Jersey Supreme Court civil union ruling and anti-gay marriage initiatives in a number of states as reasons to boast about their fanciful chances of retaining control of the Congress. Nothing could be further from the truth. This election is about constant GOP lying and hypocrisy on the issues of the rights afforded to U.S. citizens regardless of sexual orientation. According to senior Democratic sources in the House of Representatives, the Pagegate scandal is merely the "tip of the iceberg" of the predatory nature ...

October 27, 2006 -- ANY lingering doubts that David Letterman detests Bill O'Reilly will be laid to rest tonight, when the gap-toothed funnyman has the conservative Fox News powerhouse on his CBS "Late Show" and machine-guns him with insults. In a tape previewed by Page Six, things go downhill fast as O'Reilly sits down and jokingly presents the liberal-leaning host with a plastic sword to do battle and holds up a plastic shield to defend himself. An irritated Letterman cracks, "Oh, that's nice, that's cute, you come out with toys . . . Am I right about one thing: You guys over there at Fox and guys like Rush Limbaugh, you guys know it's all just a goof, right? You're ...

October 25, 2006 -- Crist and his "Sweet Sixteen" friend. WMR's colleague, intrepid Florida investigative journalist John Caylor of www.insider-magazine.com, has uncovered evidence that GOP gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist maintained a gay relationship with a 16-year old male ten years ago. Crist, born on July 24, 1956, is 50 years old. His young one-time partner, born in 1979, is now 26. Crist, who, as Florida Attorney General, was able to hide his personal details under Patriot Act-inspired shield laws designed to "protect" law enforcement officers, allegedly lived with his young partner in a condominium at 1 Beach Drive, St. Petersburg Beach, Florida. The GOP Victory By JIM MCTAGUE JUBILANT DEMOCRATS SHOULD RECONSIDER their order for confetti and noisemakers, BARRON's claims in their next edition. The Democrats, as widely reported, are expecting GOP-weary voters to flock to the polls in two weeks and hand them control of the House for the first time in 12 years -- and perhaps the Senate, as well. Even some Republicans privately confess that they are anticipating the election-day equivalent of Little Big Horn. Pardon our hubris, but we just don't see it. Mark Foley (R-Fla.) page scandal, now faces a new controversy as a former staffer has sued his office for sexual harassment," John Bresnahan reports. Excerpts from Roll Call article: # Elizabeth Scott, Alexander’s former scheduler, claims that Royal Alexander, the Congressman’s chief of staff, “engaged in a course of misconduct” that included “inappropriate sex-based comments, ogling and touching” and “sexual advances,” according to Michael Hoare, Scott’s attorney. October 20/21/22, 2006 -- Pagegate swamps two additional female GOP House members. Scandal becoming political equivalent of a general alarm fire. WMR has received further confirmation that Pagegate details were revealed by U.S. intelligence and law enforcement members as a last resort to ensure the defeat of GOP members of Congress who have been blackmailed over the years for their involvement in pederasty or covering it up. In fact, some of the members targeted were originally blackmailed by CIA-connected elements tied to child prostitution as far back as the 1960s. The blackmail was always held in reserve as an insurance policy for elements tied to "the Agency," which have now ...

Trandahl's lawyers said he is scheduled to testify Thursday before the House Ethics Committee, which is investigating the Foley case. Two sources close to Trandahl told CNN that he had been monitoring Foley's interaction with pages after being told of troubling behavior by the congressman in the House cloakroom and elsewhere. http://www.themoderatevoice.com/posts/1161096893.shtml You have to ask yourself: who ever would have thought 30 years ago that talk radio would evolve into where three hour "shows" would essentially become propaganda strips for political parties — and if the hosts wavered from the party line the President would meet with them to get them back "on message?" But that is the case now: On an overcast Friday morning last month, White House aides ushered an influential group of conservative radio hosts into the Oval Office for a private audience with the president. For an hour and a half, Mr. Bush discussed his case for the war in Iraq, his immigration proposals and ...

In an interview with the editorial board of the Bucks County Courier Times, embattled Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum has equated the war in Iraq with J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings." According to the paper, Santorum said that the United States has avoided terrorist attacks at home over the past five years because the "Eye of Mordor" has been focused on Iraq instead. "As the hobbits are going up Mount Doom, the Eye of Mordor is being drawn somewhere else," Santorum said. "It's being drawn to Iraq and it's not being drawn to the U.S. You know what? I want to keep it on Iraq. I don't want the Eye to come back here to the United States." We're ...

Foley to Tell Church About Alleged Abuse Oct 17 7:03 PM US/Eastern Disgraced former Congressman Mark Foley, who claimed he was sexually abused by a Roman Catholic clergyman when he was a teen, will reveal the man's identity to the Archdiocese of Miami, his attorney said Tuesday. No criminal charges can be filed because the statute of limitations on sexual assault expired long ago, but the archdiocese requested information about Foley's accusations, attorney Gerald Richman said. "We're talking about issues that happened 36 to 38 years ago," Richman said. "This is all part of the healing process for Mark Foley. He thinks it's important to go ahead and bring this ...

The terrible tragedies that result from it destroy lives and insult the dignity of women, men, and children. National Domestic Violence Awareness Month is an opportunity to underscore our commitment to bringing an end to violence in the home. A home should be a place of stability, comfort, and love. CAFTA passage may hurt other deals Supporters of CAFTA-DR celebrated its passage. However, the partisan fight could endanger other free-trade pacts. BY PABLO BACHELET pbachelet@herald.com WASHINGTON - After the House early Thursday passed a trade agreement with five Central American countries and the Dominican Republic by the narrowest of margins, supporters in Washington, Miami and Central America hailed it as a major win. But the reality, analysts say, is that CAFTA-DR's slim and mostly partisan 217-215 vote raises doubts over the future of other hemispheric trade pacts that are in the pipeline, including the Free Trade Area of the Americas, or FTAA, and a trade pact with three ...

October 16, 2006 -- George W. Bush's "Svengali" Karl Rove seems very sure that the GOP will not lose control of the House and Senate in the mid-terms, even though polls indicate a huge Democratic tsunami is building that will turn control of both bodies over to the Democrats. Rove's name has come up in the Mark Foley scandal at a time the furtive presidential counselor has been busy traveling around the country, obviously attempting to tamper with the election process at the municipal, ward, and precinct levels. Rove, who allegedly knew about Foley's problem with underage male pages, pressured and possibly blackmailed the Florida congressman into running for re-election in 2006. ...
