Tomorrow will arrive our vet to help our near eighteen year old chow-mix friend across the bridge: he's been blind, deaf, and now going into renal failure for over the course of the last year. I hope that someone is so kind to me when my time comes.

Your country Dies and You Waste Time Complaining About What Ann Coulter Spews?

THE FACT THAT AMERICANS HAVE NOT DESCENDED ON WASHINGTON BY THE MILLIONS TO PROTEST THIS GD AMNESTY IN THE STREET IS FURTHER EVIDENCE AMERIKA IS DEAD. Time to wake up and worry about our own freedom being taken away and our own country being destroyed physically and culturally by an invasion, and stop whining about fucking bullshit that doesn't matter like what Ann Coulter says [WHO GIVES A SHIT!??] and who is going to win the election. It won't matter anyway. The fascist PoliceState is now among us. WE let it happen. Waco was the beginning..the experiment to guage Amerikan nads...we showed none...that gave TheStateInc free reign and they've used it while we slept. Fuhrer Shrub certainly ...

Angry Liberals Fume Over Missing Rove Indictment

As I have said all along, the number one priority is finding that damn Rove indictment! Nothing is more critical to the well-being of my career as Speaker of the House-----er, I mean well- being of America! We know the Rover indictment is out there---we just have to find it! Find the Rove Indictment! The president should bring the troops home from Iraq, Afghanistan NOW. They should be looking for the Rove indictment! Check under the sink in that little room off the Oval Office---Monica used to hide her knee pads there. Bet that is where the Rove indictment is hidden! Check the well on the Bush ranch in Crawford---I bet that is where it is! I have it locked in a ...

"Truth comes by conflict." ~ Hillaire Belloc "Without contraries, there is no progression." ~ William Blake I used to write for a libertarian site called http://LewRockwell.com. But no more. My archives have been erased, and on top of that, they have been erased from the Google cache, which can only happen if the owner of the site where the articles were posted requests it (I’ve already saved all of them, so not to worry). Now who could it be who did this, I wonder? By the way, over 200 articles were destroyed. 217, I think. All dropped down the libertarian version of Orwell's Memory Hole. I'm not the only one who has been banned. Jimmy Cantrell, who has a Ph.D. ...

Read carefully! Consider pp. 51-54: And now it is time to introduce myself, for I am your narrator; and though I subscribe to the ancient wisdom that a tale's narrator should be as unobtrusive as possible, yet it is mete that the gentle reader should know somewhat of the provenance of this tale, lest he become afflicted with false doubts concerning its veracity and authenticity. "Your narrator," I named myself, yet this term must at once be qualified. In truth, it would be more proper to call myself the compiler of this narration, rather than the narrator himself. The principal source of our tale, the central thread around which I have been forced to weave other annals and ...

I was taking a smoke break from typing in a Robert Locke article, just before midnight central time tonight. Standing on my back porch, I noticed an usually bright light low on the horizon, partly obscured by a tree. I thought "Is that the moon?" No. A planet perhaps? As I smoked, it wiggled a little bit. A bit more than a twinkling star appears to. Soon it became clear that it was approaching directly towards me. As the angle increased, I at first thought it was moving very fast. I became able to resolve red and blue navigational lights within the brighter white light, so it was clearly a terrestrial aircraft. But it was very quiet. I could hear no engine noise. Before ...

Try as I might over the last weeks, news and commentary is not relevant to this forum. No problem here, every ship has its course/mission Now mind you, this is not an opus as I may post a "earth swallowed by a busty lesbian" article as need warrants. I thank all of you for the consideration and kindness afforded to me at this venue. Take care and tamp the ground before you. See ya around.

Country group is back with new album, but will anybody buy it? Sunday, May 21, 2006; Posted: 12:39 p.m. EDT (16:39 GMT) Editor's note: The following is a summary of this week's Time magazine cover story. Natalie Maines is one of those people born middle finger first. As a high school senior in Lubbock, Texas, she'd skip a class a day in an attempt to prove that because she never got caught and some Mexican students did, the system was racist. After Maines joined the Dixie Chicks, and the Dixie Chicks became the biggest-selling female group in music history -- with suspiciously little cash to show for it -- she and her bandmates told their record label, Sony, they were declaring ...

AN APOLOGY FROM A BUSH VOTER (Doug McIntyre)

Doug's apology AN APOLOGY FROM A BUSH VOTER By Doug McIntyre Host, McIntyre in the Morning Talk Radio 790 KABC There’s nothing harder in public life than admitting you’re wrong. By the way, admitting you’re wrong can be even tougher in private life. If you don’t believe me, just ask Bill Clinton or Charlie Sheen. But when you go out on the limb in public, it’s out there where everyone can see it, or in my case, hear it. So, I’m saying today, I was wrong to have voted for George W. Bush. In historic terms, I believe George W. Bush is the worst two-term President in the history of the country. Worse than Grant. I also believe a case can be made that ...

Check out frame 24 of the second video released to Judicial Watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAaP4Z3zls8 Now if you took this video and particularily frame 24 and asked someone just waking from a coma what they saw, how many people here think their answer would involve the word "airplane"? I had never previously been a big proponent of missile theory, but that looks like a missile. Straight up.

The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and ...

Proving that Mehitable Storm is an equal opportunity gadfly, I have now been banned from posting on both Free Republic and Daily Kos. Now how, you may ask, was I banned from such a bastion of free speech as Daily Kos? Well, I dared to tell Michael Schiavo - yes, THAT Michael Schiavo - that he killed his wife and should rot in hell. Perhaps an indelicate thing to say, but - I believe it. Next thing I know, I'm being flamed and I can't answer back. So I wrote an email to the DK people asking them what the hell freedom of speech was to them and how they differ from Free Republic. This just makes me appreciate "4" all the more :)

Now that the Bush administration has us all in a disaster frame of mind, let's return to that greatest of disaster epics, The Poseidon Adventure. One of my favorite flicks and I always cry when fat Mrs. Rosen dies. Now we have the remake coming out and my prediction is that it will stink, BUT....why not take the Poseidon Adventure personality test and see which character YOU would be in case your next cruise is struck by a tsunami and you have to battle your way up to the bottom of the boat. Which is probably what Laura Bush feels like most nights.... http://www.handbagproductions.org/history/poseidon/poseidon-test.shtml
