Black Kids with No Costumes Post Date: 2012-11-01 10:23:04 by Turtle

I used to live in an area with a lot of blacks and the kids never dressed up in costumes, just went door-to-door with bags. I've had people tell me they do the same thing all over the country.
Humiliated Murderous Losers Seeking Revenge Post Date: 2012-08-21 21:09:34 by Turtle

I can't remember where I read it, but the comment was along the lines of "They'll go all Sodini" on them. I didn't recognize the name so I Googled it. Sigh. George Sodini, who was in his late 40s, entered a fitness center and murdered four women, then killed himself. Sodini hated women because he felt he was ignored and rejected by them. In a word, humiliated. When people feel humiliated, they sometimes seek to restore their lost pride by revenge. This can include murder (think Cain killing Abel, which was the attempt to replace shame with pride). I am also reminded of Seung-Hui Cho, who killed 32 people in Virginia. It's clear to me Cho was utterly unpopular ...
Turtle Sees "The Hunger Games" Post Date: 2012-08-20 11:19:56 by Turtle

I saw "The Hunger Games" last night with Number Three Girlfriend and I do recommend it. Some nasty stuff and some really unpleasant people but not whole lot of blood, but certainly a lot of death. I doubt I would have lasted very long even at 16. Maybe my Cub Scout and Boy Scout training might have helped. Every seat was taken in the theater which is why I insisted we get there half an hour early.

The Ruling Classes Contempt for Us Post Date: 2012-08-07 12:59:45 by Turtle

"I've been around the ruling class all my life, and I've been quite aware of their total contempt for the people of the country" -Gore Vidal People never learn. If we can just get so-and-so in office
Clinton, Bush, Obama, Romney
then things will be different. They wont. George Bush (the second one, who was more stupid and vicious than his father) once said he didnt understand poor people. And this from a man who never had a job in his life. That shows a complete lack of imagination and empathy. It also shows a lack of brains. Or if he has any brains, he didnt use them. Yet Im heard people refer to Bush as my President. Talk ...
The Reaction to Feminism and the Contempt for Women Post Date: 2012-08-06 13:56:15 by Turtle

For the past several months I have been reading the Manosphere blogs. In some ways the ideas of the Manosphere are a needed corrective (long overdue) to the evils of leftist feminism (leftists are emotionally four years old, and because of that, to quote Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, Leftists dont merely misunderstand human nature; they dont understand it at all). Feminism was founded on blaming all problems on men (specifically white men). Thats why you heard such terms as patriarchy, Dead White Males, etc., ad infinitum, ad nauseum. This blaming all problems on other people is the first defense people engage in. Technically its ...
"Good-Natured Unambitious Men" Post Date: 2012-08-05 14:48:20 by Turtle

If Pareto's 80/20 law is correct (and history has shown that it is) then while 80% of men are good-natured and not overly-ambitious, there will be that 20% that are more ambitious than the average. And if you take that 20%, and use it as 100%, then 20% of them are the really ambitious ones. These super-ambitious types aren't necessarily a good thing. In fact, I'd say they're far more bad than good. Think politicians, most of whom are very ambitious and almost always immensely destructive. Think lawyers. Think MBAs. Think of the ambitious in our finance industry. If none of these people had never existed, would it be a better or worse world? I'd say it's pretty ...

California: The Road Warrior Is Here Post Date: 2012-07-31 13:01:18 by Turtle

Wheres Mel Gibson When You Need Him? George Millers 1981 post-apocalyptic film The Road Warrior envisioned an impoverished world of the future. Tribal groups fought over what remained of a destroyed Western world of law, technology, and mass production. Survival went to the fittest or at least those who could best scrounge together the artifacts of a long gone society somewhat resembling the present West. In the case of the Australian film, the culprit for the detribalization of the Outback was some sort of global war or perhaps nuclear holocaust that had destroyed the social fabric. Survivors were left with a memory of modern appetites but without the ability to ...
More Real Conspiracies (My Title) Post Date: 2012-07-31 12:18:17 by Turtle

From the AP: WASHINGTON (AP) -- The CIA station chief opened the locked box containing the sensitive equipment he used from his home in Tel Aviv, Israel, to communicate with CIA headquarters in Virginia, only to find that someone had tampered with it. He sent word to his superiors about the break-in. The incident, described by three former senior U.S. intelligence officials, might have been dismissed as just another cloak-and-dagger incident in the world of international espionage, except that the same thing had happened to the previous station chief in Israel. It was a not-so-subtle reminder that, even in a country friendly to the United States, the CIA was itself being watched. In a ...
Holmes: Another Lovelorn Beta Male Post Date: 2012-07-30 13:15:49 by Turtle

It looks like we may have another case of a beta, possibly omega, male with woman troubles expunging his feelings of worthlessness through the barrel of a gun. Could game have saved the lives of those theater-goers Holmes killed? James Holmes struck out with three women on an adult sex website shortly before he allegedly perpetrated the Colorado movie massacre, according to a new report. He described Holmes as a shy, pretty socially inept person, and said he tried at one point to introduce Holmes around the institute, taking him to another floor where a high school girl was working. He just had no interest, Jacobson recalled. I attributed all this to ...
James Holmes was a Lunatic, not Brainwashed [Full Thread] Post Date: 2012-07-30 12:00:00 by Turtle

Whenever something bad happens the Conspiracist Crackpots immediately come out of the woodwork and start hallucinating. Holmes was brainwashed. He had a chip in his head. It was a false flag operation. Its all bullshit. Brainwashing doesnt exist, contrary to those with the vapors. The retired psychiatrist James Gilligan spend 35 years dealing with thousands of murderers, trying to find out what they did what they did. Every time what he heard was, He dissed me [my wife, girlfriend, parents, friends, children] so I killed him. One day he realized what he was hearing was the story of Cain and Abel a story thousands of years old that explained why people ...
Turtle’s 20/80 Euthanasia Law Post Date: 2012-07-29 15:38:31 by Turtle

Paretos 20/80 law has turned out to be true. For example, 20% of the people own 80% of the wealth. Twenty percent of people have 80% of the brains. Since Paretos law is true, I have decided 80% of the people are imbeciles who have no right to be alive. So, Ive decided, they should be euthanized. Or at least neutered. Remember Stanley Milgrams famous experiment in which he found most people would give supposedly lethal shocks to other people when ordered to do so by an authority figure? He did a second experiment, which most people dont know about. Milgram was concerned some people had figured out his experiment was a fake (in my case, knowing it was fake, ...

"For every problem there is a solution that is simple, clean and wrong H.L. Mencken Most womens, but not all, greatest fear is to be deserted by a man. There is its corollary: to not get married. To not have husband, home and children. I once had a hostile, bitter spinster scream at me: Youre no gentlemen! Youre not married! She was right that I am no gentleman (I was once described as a gentleman and a barbarian, which is pretty accurate). The accusation about marriage was her greatest fear projected on me. No man is going to yell at a woman, Youre not lady! Youre not married! I saw another woman yell at ...
Romney's taxes Post Date: 2012-07-18 04:19:57 by farmfriend

I was listening to the talking heads tonight ranting about Romney not releasing more tax returns. This got me to thinking, what if they would show he was still working for Baine during the time he had either taken a leave of absence or semi retired depending on which speech you listen to? It would directly put all those job lay offs and outsourcing episodes right at his door step.
There are no Experts Post Date: 2012-07-16 12:59:43 by Turtle

Show some fucking adaptability! ― Bobby Shaftow, Cryptonomicon I once read a definition of expert ex meaning has-been; spurt meaning a drip under pressure. Thats an expert a drip under pressure. The predictions of experts have been uniformly wrong. So wrong, in fact, that theyre worthless. But why are they so wrong? Everyone has in their mind a model of how the world works. That model is not reality. The map is not the terrain, the old saying tells us, and its a true one. The world is so complex that no mental map can describe it with little more than a minimum of ...

Immigrants Should Pay to Live Here Post Date: 2012-07-11 12:29:04 by Turtle

Two thousand years ago Roman citizenship was a prized thing. St. Paul once escaped a flogging because he was born with it. The official troubling St. Paul (who had put him in chains and was horrified to learn he had done it to a Roman citizen) said he had to buy his Roman citizenship and it cost a large sum. The United States should follow the lead of Rome and make immigrants purchase their citizenship. Because currently its free for immigrants to live here, getting citizenship means nothing to many of them. When we let immigrants into this country for free theyre not going to appreciate the favor were doing them. Often they respond not with ...

Corporations and Clueless Libertarians Post Date: 2012-07-09 12:23:11 by Turtle

Corporate governance is incompatible with peoples ability to create sustainable democratic communities Thomas Linzey Ive always been mystified by libertarians who support corporations, say, Wal-Mart. Perhaps they think corporations are free market. Theyre not. They are the exact opposite of the free market. Perhaps some of the problem is what H.L. Mencken noticed: when people are allowed to do what they want, usually they imitate each other. Libertarians, who should know better, imitate free market theorists even when the evidence contradicts their divorced-from-reality economic explanations. Corporations have the status of legal persons, ...

I met a young woman at a conference in Las Vegas recently. She was working as an usher / conference staff assistant. Let's call her Anne. She looked to be about 30. Tall (6 feet 1 inches), slender, nice facial features. A pretty young woman in a city full of pretty young women. By Las Vegas / NYC / Hollywood norms, she was about 80th percentile. In another other major metro area, probably 90th or better. I wasn't looking to pick her up. But I wanted to test out my Game. Why not try it on an attractive young woman in the Heart of Darkness? I had Anne's phone number in 5 minutes. I saw her a few more times as the day went by and chatted with her briefly each time. She gave me ...
The State Against Men, Women and Their Relationships Post Date: 2012-06-26 16:55:56 by Turtle

Forty-nine percent of the men and women in the United States are not married. This is an all-time high or perhaps I mean low. I wouldnt be surprised if it hits 50% or even a little higher. This is a bad development. When I write bad, I do mean bad. There is no good to it. None whatsoever, contrary to the hallucinations of the fuzzy-minded chattering classes, who are lets face it worse than worthless. Theyre dangerous. While there are always a certain number of people who do not want to be married and have children, I cant imagine it being 49% of the population. Why so many? Ultimately, its because of the interference of the ...
