Illegals get free medical care, why not Americans?

Screw the free market, capitalist argument people tend to make in response to this comment. Capitalism has long been in the rear view mirror of this country. That said, since illegals receive free medical (and housing, and education, and college tuition) needy Americans should also receive the same. And please don’t tell me the answer is to take these services away from illegals - of course that’s the answer, but it isn’t going to happen. Until it does, every American w/o medical insurance should be offered it on the same level as the illegals. Call it socialism, Hillary-care, whatever. I call it about time.

So what did you recieve?? I got four packs of "Mike and Ikes" candies, a pound of pistachios, carbon fiber hiking poles (very nice),a road atlas, a bag of mints (my wife's favorites) and a bottle of car wax. The good stuff, turtle wax. I gave a blow up bed (the big hit of the day), snow board and boot set, titanium cronograph watch, a telephone and some silly stuff. Anybody get a jet helicopter???

I was wondering if any of you good folks can point me to articles or information about the WTC collapse. Like most people I just took it at face value that the planes flew into the buildings, exploded, and the towers collapsed. I'm usually not gullible, but heck, I saw it with my own eyes and I'm not an engineer or physicist or explosions expert. Now I'm starting to wonder about just how a plane could fly into a skyscraper like that and make the whole thing collapse. Not just once, but twice. How is that possible? I would expect that there'd be one hell of a hole but we have tornados that hit skyscrapers and don't knock the whole thing down. I'm not some kind of crank who believes in ...

Lately, I've seen a LOT of commercials on television with celebrities, and other people talking about mental health, mental health screening, mental hospitalization, and what not. Anyone else noticing it? Anyone else kind of creeped out by the fact that they're pumping the airwaves with this sort of thing? I think it's a little weird that celebrities are doing these bits encouraging people to seek counseling, and or medication. Must be part of that Bush and Co. Mandatory Mental Health Screening.

Just a broad question. I'm amazed at how little coverage this oil explosion in Britain has got. This incident happened on 12/11 - just 2 days after Al Quada said they were going to go after oil refineries. Now I tend to have a suspicious mind and I think this was a terrorist attack. I'm wondering - what lies has the British government come up with as the "explanation" for this "accident"? I'm amazed at how successful they've been in covering up this major, major story.

I'm pretty freakin' drunk but I wanted to say I've read quite a few of 82Marine89's posts and think a few people here are confusing him with other posters using the "marine" title. I disagree with 82-89 on quite a few policies, but he strikes me as basically decent guy. Ain't asking anyone to lay off, but please just try and have a little bigger heart, eh?
