The Battle of Athens A murder stirred up the trouble. For the past three days, Athens has been rocked by violence. It all began on Tuesday morning, when a 44-year-old man, Manolis Kantaris, was killed by three Mahgrebs (Morrocan or Algerian according to the police), as they tried to rob him of a video camera he was carrying. The most shocking part, and that which infuriated Greek citizenry, was the fact that the victim carried the video camera because he was going to take his wife to the hospital where she was to give birth to their second child. It was five in the morning, and he was heading to pick up his car so he could transport his wife and mother-in-law. When they saw he was late, ...

That IN pig judge got me to thinking about this. I was able to find this info sometimes. It was strictly hit and miss, mostly miss. So, for entertainments sake, and hypothetically speaking, how can this be done reliably? Hopefully for free? Phone numbers would be nice too. .

Obama Orders Targeted Assassination of another U.S. Citizen? A number of pundits have pondered how long it would take for the Administration’s penchant for assassinating U.S. citizens to be applied to those in the legal reform community, activists and journalists who are attempting to address the current legal meltdown going on inside the United States. Judicial Reform activist Bill Windsor has just added his name to the list of political activists reportedly targeted for assassination by the U.S. Government. William M. Windsor was informed yesterday by a reliable source that he may be targeted for assassination by the U.S. Government. Windsor is an activist seeking to stop ...

Origins of Libyan rebellion

First, some history. In 1969 when Col. Gaddafi came to power by overthrowing the Libyan king in a military coup, Libyan’s were one of the poorest people in the world with an annual per capita income of less than $60. Today, thanks to the “Arab Socialism” policy of the government as well as bountiful petroleum exports, the Libyan people enjoy one of the highest standards of living in the Arab world. Most Libyan families own their own home and most Libyan families own an automobile. The free public health system in Libya is one of the best in the Arab world and Libya’s free education system up to the graduate level is as good if not better than any other in the region. ...

Government: Congress holds absolute power over consumers

The acting solicitor general for the United States today claimed in a federal appeals court hearing that Congress has the absolute power to order citizens to purchase consumer goods if lawmakers believe there is a national problem the purchases would address. The comments from Neal Kumar Katyal validated the criticism of opponents who contend President Obama's health care nationalization plan is unconstitutional. Get the solutions offered by U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess, in "Doctor in the House" The exchange came during arguments over Obama's signature legislation, the Affordable Care Act, before a three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The judges ...

An influential legislator from Switzerland’s largest political party has issued a strongly worded letter to the head of the Swiss Federal Department of Justice and Police, saying that the globalist Bilderberg group’s planned meeting in Switzerland June 9-12 threatens the nation’s deep-seated traditions of populist rule and neutrality as well as bringing many disreputable participants, some of whom are accused war criminals, to the traditionally neutral country. The legislator, Dominique Baettig of the Swiss People’s Party (SVP), was interviewed by this AFP writer last December and soon made headlines when he called for George W. Bush’s arrest for war crimes if he ...

EDMONTON - The man killed in the Edmonton Remand Centre early Thursday morning was only there because he chose not to pay a $110 fine, and was set to be released from custody later that day. Barry Raymond Stewart, 59, of Edmonton, was found dead inside a cell Thursday morning. Another prisoner, Justin Caldwell Somers, 25, has been charged with second-degree murder. According to court records, Stewart had missed an appearance in traffic court on Feb. 2. Two days later, a warrant was issued in his name. On May 10, he was arrested by police and chose to serve a day in jail rather than pay the $110 fine. Stewart was held in a basement cell of the remand centre, in a unit reserved for those ...

White America’s collapsing birth rate is changing the face of the country The giant sucking sound emanating from the South and West, another leitmotif of American demographics, continues unmuffled. AMONG America’s three-year-olds, a revolution is afoot. Children of that age are turning the country’s demographics on its head. According to a recent study from the Census Bureau, the majority of them are now from groups normally considered minorities, chiefly Hispanics and blacks. The latest release of data from last year’s decennial census confirms that whites still constitute a slender majority, 54%, of those under 18, and a larger one, 64%, of the population as a whole. ...

Wednesday, May 11, 2011 The Martyrdom of Edgar Steele Greetings from the Northwest Homeland, comrades. It’s May the 12th. 2011, I’m Harold Covington, and this is Radio Free Northwest. This week’s podcast will be shorter than usual, and there will be no musical interludes, because what I have to say this week is of vital importance. I want to keep it short and simple, and avoid any potential distractions. On Thursday, May the fifth, Edgar Steele was found guilty of all four charges against him. The media has reported that he now faces thirty years in prison at sentencing. They’re wrong. Edgar Steele is a man of 65 with severe medical problems. Whatever the judge gives ...

How bin Laden emailed without being detected by US

WASHINGTON - Despite having no Internet access in his hideout, Osama bin Laden was a prolific email writer who built a painstaking system that kept him one step ahead of the US government's best eavesdroppers. His methods, described in new detail to The Associated Press by a counterterrorism official and a second person briefed on the US investigation, served him well for years and frustrated Western efforts to trace him through cyberspace. The arrangement allowed bin Laden to stay in touch worldwide without leaving any digital fingerprints behind. On May 5th, 2009, some of the most notorious members of the “billionaires club” — David Rockefeller, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffett, George Soros, Eli Broad, Peter G. Peterson, Patty Stonesifer, John Morgridge, Michael Bloomberg and a few other billionaires –, secretly met at the Manhattan residence of Sir Paul Nurse, president of Rockefeller University. The meeting was eerily similar to another meeting that took place on January 20, 1942, in Wansee, a Berlin suburb. In the Wansee Conference, some high ranking Nazi officials, led by SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, dispassionately discussed the more efficient methods to carry out ...

Bin Laden Is Dead. Will The Patriot Act Live On?
Post Date: 2011-05-09 06:28:15 by Tatarewicz

Osama Bin Laden is dead, but will the Patriot Act live on? The Patriot Act was enacted as a supposedly temporary measure in the wake of 9-11. With Bin Laden's passing, the era of the Patriot Act, of spying on Americans who aren't suspected of crimes, of heavy-handed abuse of our dearly held civil liberties, must come to an end. The Patriot Act is up for renewal this month and a key debate is brewing: Our opponents will argue that his death is evidence that the post-9-11 spying regime was justified. We believe it means that it's time for the government to fix the Patriot Act and start protecting Americans' civil liberties. We need to act now to make sure we win this ...

LYBIA - NATO Land Offensive Now "Unavoidable"

So Much For Libyan Rebel Oil Exports: Gaddafi Forces Destroy Last Fuel Tanks Under Rebel Control; NATO Land Offensive Now Unavoidable And so the badly thought out experiment to supply Libyan rebels with a central bank, to be used to fund an "alternative" fuel industry comes to a prompt and fiery end. Reuters reports that "Libyan government forces destroyed four fuel storage tanks and set several others ablaze in rebel-held Misrata, dealing a blow to the port city's ability to withstand a government siege, rebels said on Saturday." Not surprisingly this fits in perfectly with the assumption first postulated by Zero Hedge that Gaddafi will destroy his entire oil ...

The Lethal Illusion Called 'Authority'

"Why did you shoot that man? He didn't do anything!" The question was wrenched from a woman who had watched in horror as Police Officer Ian Birk pumped four shots into the body of John T. Williams on a Seattle street corner last August 30. Birk claimed that he had been "threatened" by Williams, a 50-year-old alcoholic woodcarver who was carrying two closed knives at the time of the incident. The autopsy, however, documented that Williams wasn't facing Birk when he was shot: The officer approached him from behind and to the right, and Williams was shot in the right side of his body from an estimated distance of about ten feet. A fifth shot that missed the target ...

International ‘Holocaust Denier’ Speaks, Some Residents ‘Outraged’ (Montana)

KALISPELL, Mont. -- An internationally known Holocaust denier is set to speak in the Flathead Valley Wednesday evening, but residents say the community doesn't share his views. David Irving says the Holocaust didn't happen, and one community leader, Darryl Kistler who heads a local church , says Irving speaks to a strong white nationalist presence in the Flathead Valley. Kistler says others in the Flathead are frustrated to see speakers like Irving in northwest Montana. “No one's saying that he doesn't have a right to this free speech, that he doesn't have a right to these beliefs. But, people are either outraged or at least uncomfortable with the ideas that a man ...

White House (No help to Texas) FEMA Defends No More Help Over Texas Wildfires

The Federal Emergency Management Agency defended its decision to refuse more assistance for Texas in the wake of devastating wildfires, saying Wednesday that the state has already received sufficient U.S. government help. Late Tuesday, Gov. Rick Perry criticized the White House after learning that his April 16 request for a federal major disaster declaration and additional help had been rejected. The federal government has already provided Texas with grants for response activities, FEMA spokeswoman Rachel Racusen told The Associated Press in a statement. "FEMA has been in close contact with the state since the fires occurred, and based on the information they provided, it was ...

Both Hitler and bin Laden Announced Dead on May 1

Despite the jubilation (mostly) worldwide over the death of Osama bin Laden, the biggest enemy so far this century, it's easy to forget the historic coincidence of the death of the biggest mass murderer of the previous century. On May 1, 1945, Germany announced that Adolf Hitler was dead, leading to the end of the allied campaign in Europe during World War II. That same date 66 years later, President Obama announced the death of the al-Qaeda leader and international terrorist. At about 10:30 that night a Hamburg Radio announcer broadcast that Hitler had "fallen at his command post in the Reich Chancery fighting to the last breath against Bolshevism and for Germany," ...
