Is living off the Grid now a crime? Post Date: 2011-09-04 22:50:26 by farmfriend

Is living off the Grid now a crime? Apparently living off the grid, off the land and without government assistance is now a crime that can land you in jail and cause you to lose your home. Government officials across the country are forming so called nuisance abatement teams to intimidate people into giving up their land or conforming to the governments demands and hooking back into the grid. Counties across the country are actually jailing people for living the way they want to live. I was alerted to this video by a reader and was troubled and sickened by what the poor people in the California Desert are being forced to deal with. From being threatened with jail time if they ...

THEY LIVE They influence our decisions without us knowing it. They numb our senses without us feeling it. They control our lives without us realizing it. THEY LIVE. A rugged loner (RODDY PIPER) stumbles upon a terrifying discovery: goulish creatures are masquerading as humans while they lull the public into submission through subliminal advertising messages. Only specially made sunglasses make the deadly truth visible. Learning to 'Live Free' comes from experience and personal growth ... Lets break our conditioning!
Big government stymies willingness to work Post Date: 2011-09-04 01:34:04 by Tatarewicz

Data hounds will by delighted by Vito Tanzis new book Government Versus Markets: The Changing Economic Role of the State, says Richard Rahn, who notes that the book also makes a very good case for lower taxes and smaller government: Some advocates of higher taxes argue that tax rates on labor do not have much impact on the willingness to work, but Mr. Tanzi gives us a very clear chart plotting the tax rate on labor versus the number of hours worked per year in many countries. It shows that there is a strong inverse relationship between tax rates on labor and hours worked. Such facts are inconvenient for the big-government, high-tax crowd. Mr. Tanzi is far from being anti-government, ...

Did TSA airport screeners violate free speech rights of bare-chested student? By Warren Richey, Staff writer / August 30, 2011 A federal judge in Richmond ruled Tuesday that a lawsuit could move forward against two airport security screeners who had a college student arrested after he stripped to a pair of running shorts to protest what he felt were unconstitutionally intrusive search procedures. ... Memo To #OCCUPYWALLSTREET : Make Jail To The Thief Your Theme Post Date: 2011-09-01 16:35:01 by Horse

On Saturday September 17th #OCCUPYWALLSTREET will demonstrate in Manhattan, London, Paris, Rome and Madrid with satellite demonstrations all over the world. It is not too late to either join or donate. This Adbusters campaign has been joined by the hackers group Anonymous. They are looking for a Tahrir Square (Cairo) moment. The only problem is their organizing theme will be to get the money out of politics. In common American parlance your slogan sucks. I suggest Jail To The Thief. There will be no economic recovery until the fraud is stopped in Wall Street, in the City of London and on the continent of Europe. I would suggest you contrast the severe jail time given to Americans, ...
I Categorically Reject The Occupying Power’s Right To Lie To Me Post Date: 2011-09-01 16:26:30 by Horse

The US government ever since I was born has lied to me and treated me as a subversive for not believing their lies. The Federal Reserve which is privately owned has been acting to protect the American government which seems to be some sort of subsidiary of the New York and London banks. The Fed has been printing up trillions of dollars and giving it to the banks to keep them afloat. But the Fed has also been deliberately obscuring the truth by giving hundreds of millions to the media so I must now treat the government, the media including the schools and all federal contractors as members of an occupying power who have no legitimate authority to rule over me or much less lie to me. We need ...

For the past few months, police departments have been using a new iris scanning device to identify people they encounter. Many more police departments will begin using this device soon. The scanner can be held up to the eye of any person and almost instantly identify them more accurately than a fingerprint. Police have imposed restrictions on themselves to prevent misuse of iris scanners. Like a chubby kid guarding a Happy Meal, indulgence is more likely than restraint. Currently, iris scanners are limited to checking the person scanned against a national database of iris scans. This database presumably only contains criminals, children and individuals who may need assistance, like ...

The Thomas Ball Fire Symphony # 1 On June 15, 2011, yet another desperate father, disabused with his ongoing decade long struggle with both corrupt state and federal courtsdoused himself with gasoline and set himself ablaze on the steps of the Keene, New Hampshire courthouse. This is not unique in regards to this ongoing national Fathers Rights problem, which plagues us all. It is estimated that throughout the United States, that 24,000 men a year, commit suicide in this nation directly due to the unconstitutional acts and/or omissions and denial of basic human rights applied by our courts. On any given day, it is estimated that 250,000 to 400,000 men are falsely and ...

The Raising of Lazarus, (c. 1410) from the Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry, Musée Condé, France. A miracle is an event attributed to divine intervention. Sometimes an event is also attributed (in part) to a miracle worker, saint, or religious leader. A miracle is sometimes thought of as a perceptible interruption of the laws of nature. Others suggest that God may work with the laws of nature to perform what people perceive as miracles [1] Theologians say that, with divine providence, God regularly works through created nature yet is free to work without, ...
Libya: A Premature Victory Celebration Post Date: 2011-08-30 08:19:04 by Ada

The war in Libya is over. More precisely, governments and media have decided that the war is over, despite the fact that fighting continues. The unfulfilled expectation of this war has consistently been that Moammar Gadhafi would capitulate when faced with the forces arrayed against him, and that his own forces would abandon him as soon as they saw that the war was lost. What was being celebrated last week, with presidents, prime ministers and the media proclaiming the defeat of Gadhafi, will likely be true in due course. The fact that it is not yet true does not detract from the self-congratulations. For example, Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini reported that only 5 percent of ...

The Afghan nation is not ready to accept establishment of American permanent bases here. The Afghans consider military presence of the invaders whether it is in a greater size or a smaller, as a foreign occupation. If the Americans persist to display arrogance in this regard and do not pay attention to the demands of the Jihadic resistance and the people of Afghanistan, they would face the same aftermath as they are facing now following the decade-long occupation of Afghanistan that even they cant feel consolation and respite in Kabul despite expenditure of billions of dollars and casualties of thousands of troops. As Hurricane Irene threatened the East Coast, Merriam-Webster announced the addition of 150 new words to its dictionary. Among them was "helicopter parent" to describe anyone "overly involved" in his childs life. If the definition doesnt already include a notation, "See also Big Daddy Government," it should. Busybodies and morons obsessed with what speed we drive, how we educate our kids, whether we drink pasteurized milk, and how many calories our burgers contain have kicked into overdrive with Irenes advent. Why an Income Tax is Not Necessary to Fund the U.S. Government Post Date: 2011-08-28 18:22:53 by James Deffenbach

Can this statement possibly be true? In order to answer this question, Americans must first understand what is the source of the money that funds the government and where it goes. Contrary to the sound bites issued by the two mainstream political parties, the reality of how the system actually works will not only open your eyes, but hopefully stimulate the American people to demand that the thievery underway come to an end. Where do your "income" tax dollars go? The best place to look for an answer to this question would be a government report, so let's take just one at random: President's Private Sector Survey On Cost Control A Report to The President (Reagan) January ...

WASHINGTON: George Harrison played 'While my guitar gently weeps' on the instrument manufactured by them. Eric Clapton sang his paean to Layla and laid down Sally on their storied equipment. Jimi Hendrix generated Midnight Lightning and Jerry Garcia took a long strange trip - all on legendary Gibson guitars. But contemporary musicians, especially guitarists, are fretting that they will soon be playing a different tune. Uncle Sam says it has the wood on Gibson, the legendary American guitar maker whose instruments were used by the above musicians and whose products are considered the last word in the west's most popular instrument. So where does India fit into this story? The ...
Green biofuel addition gets thumbs down from German motorists Post Date: 2011-08-27 07:49:03 by Tatarewicz

German motorists could end up paying more at the pump for the botched introduction of E10 biofuel, as petroleum firms are reportedly are preparing to pass on the costs to customers. Uwe Franke, the head of BP Europa, told the Friday edition of the Essen-based Wesdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung daily that gasoline producers faced large penalties if they did not stick to government quotas for E10. The petrol with 10 percent ethanol has been widely shunned by drivers in Germany since its introduction in January. The costs for missing the quota will likely cost the industry between 300 and 400 million, said Franke, adding petrol companies would have little alternative ...

A congressman from Ohio had cops grab the cameras of constituents during a town hall meeting. Steve Chabot, a Republican, had cell phones and cameras confiscated in order to prevent an embarrassing Youtube video from making the rounds, according to Carlos Miller, who runs a blog documenting efforts by the state to stifle the First Amendment rights of photographers. See video of the incident below. Police said the cameras were taken to protect the constituents. A local television station, however, was allowed to videotape the meeting and the brazen move by Chabot and the cops. Think Progress, the Soros-funded media operation, also reported the incident, primarily ...
