Genetically Modified Papayas Attacked In Hawaii Post Date: 2011-08-21 14:59:10 by Buzzard

The destruction of thousands of papaya trees on the Big Island has some farmers speculating it's the work of activists who are against genetically modified fruit. Hawaii County police are investigating the vandalism, which appears to have been done with a machete. Papaya farmers are asking if they are targets of eco-terrorism because the majority of papayas grown on Oahu and the Big Island are genetically modified to make them disease resistant. Biotechnology is credited with saving Hawaii's papaya production industry. Richard Manshardt, one of the University of Hawaii scientists who helped develop the transgenic papaya, said without the science papayas would be more expensive. ...

Berlin police mystified by luxery car torchings Post Date: 2011-08-19 02:33:51 by Tatarewicz
4 Comments
The last three nights have seen an unprecedented wave of car torchings in Berlin, but police are not sure who to arrest. Politicians on the left and right warn the attacks could lead to more dangerous forms of protest. Meanwhile, the failure to stop them could sway September's mayoral election. Info Erhart Körting, in charge of security matters in Berlin, isn't known as a careless man, but on Wednesday he uttered a sentence that may call his sanity into doubt. "I still park my car on the street in front of my house," he said. The center-left Social Democrat obviously wanted to make a point -- that Berlin authorities won't be cowed by a rash of seemingly random ...

Private Attorneys No Longer Allowed In a stunning, far-reaching and precedent-setting ruling issued by the Idaho Supreme Court this past week, the right to confidential communications between attorneys and individuals charged with crimes under the Sixth Amendment of the US Constitution henceforth is no longer enforced in Idaho. Without comment, the entire bench of the Idaho Supreme Court has ruled that the Sixth Amendment of the US Constitution no longer applies within the boundary of Idaho. This result was obtained from the summary dismissal of a complaint lodged against Assistant US Attorney Traci Whelan by Attorney Edgar J. Steele, formerly admitted to practice before all courts in the ...

Six Fullerton cops, responding to a phone call alleging that someone in the downtown area might be breaking into cars, approached a 130-pound homeless man named Kelly Thomas, grabbed his backpack and, according to eyewitnesses, began Tasering him and beating him into a pulp. He died a few days later at a local hospital. According to eyewitnesses, Thomas, although schizophrenic, did nothing to warrant arrest, let alone a savage beating. He was a local fixture around the bar scene, a gentle figure who bummed cigarettes and slept in the park. Videos made by bystanders showed pure aggression on the part of the cops, while locals expressed horror and Thomas cried out for his dad as he was ...

They have been identified by sorting common social, economic and demographic data including: unemployment, education, income, crime, housing and homelessness. Other data was also included that might indicate probable "flash points" igniting unrest. These include: cities with especially high rates of reported police misconduct, high disparity between rich and poor, city budget deficits threatening social services, high incidence of hate crime, and large differences in home values between neighborhoods. One such statistic is a "Wealth Disparity Index" calculated as a "Gini" co-efficient. The index measures the inequality of the local wealth distribution. In ...

In accordance with the laws of Norway, any child, who lives in the country, is protected by the state. It is the state that can decide whether a child shall live with biological or foster parents. The decisions taken by local child protection services are more relevant that judges' decisions. Another Russian citizen, who lives in Norway, has addressed to Pravda.Ru for help. The woman's name is Maya Kasayeva. One may say that her story is typical. The Norwegian authorities took the woman's child - a boy born in 2002. Originally, the authorities offered the woman an alternative. "During the court hearings, the judge told me: 'We give you residence permit, and you give ...

A police officer slain while responding to a domestic disturbance in a small eastern Pennsylvania borough had pointed a stun gun at two dogs before being shot, according to court records. The Morning Call of Allentown reports Freemansburg police Officer Robert Lasso had pointed at the attacking dogs when the homeowner pulled out a shotgun and fired the fatal blast Thursday evening. In police custody later, the alleged gunman, 46-year-old George Hitcho Jr., said he had told Lasso to get off his property and not come on unless he had a warrant, authorities said. "He tried to kill my dogs and pointed a gun in my face," Hitcho said, according to the documents. "I do not care ...

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistan gave China access to the previously unknown U.S. "stealth" helicopter that crashed during the commando raid that killed Osama bin Laden in May despite explicit requests from the CIA not to, the Financial Times reported on Sunday. The disclosure, if confirmed, is likely to further shake the U.S.-Pakistan relationship, which has been improving slightly after hitting its lowest point in decades following the killing of bin Laden. During the raid, one of two modified Blackhawk helicopters, believed to employ unknown stealth capability, malfunctioned and crashed, forcing the commandos to abandon it. "The U.S. now has information that Pakistan, ...
China will ban entry of foreign men by 2020 Post Date: 2011-08-14 02:45:05 by Tatarewicz

I predict that by 2020, China will ban foreign men from entering China, except for special cases. The reason is that too many foreign men are marrying Chinese women and that there will be 10-20 million Chinese men who cannot find Chinese wives. There is a growing awareness among Chinese men that too many Chinese women are marrying foreigners. China will also encourage foreign women to migrate to China by awarding them with tax credits, education and housing benefits. Foreign women will also be rewarded special status if they marry Chinese men. If China does not resolve the excess male population problem, China will experience social unrest and crime. There will be more violence, rape, ...

It triggered other outbreaks on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday in Brixton, Enfield, Walthamstow, Islington, Hackney, Croydon, Lewisham, Peckham, Clapham, Ealing, central London, and Birmingham, Britain's second largest city. They also spread to Liverpool, Manchester, and elsewhere as raging anger set Britain ablaze. Observers attribute public anger to unemployment, poverty, inequality, and overall social injustice, but perhaps more is also involved. ...
London riots: Could they happen in the U.S.? Post Date: 2011-08-13 03:01:03 by Tatarewicz

As Britain grapples with days of violent looting, Americans worry that riot fever could soon cross the pond Riots, irrational violence, and hedonistic looting devastated London for the better part of a week, slapping Britons awake to disturbing truths about what many consider a historically civil society. Now, many Americans are wondering if the same thing could happen on this side of the Atlantic. Are such fears founded? No. Americans would never stand for this: A culture and history of self-reliance would lead ordinary Americans to take matters into their own hands, says Tim Stanley at Britain's Telegraph. Remember when Koreans shot looters during the L.A. riots in 1992? Plus, ...

In a Special Infowars Report, researcher Aaron Dykes exposes the global population database apparatus used by eugenicists to target populations for reduced births, soft kill and extermination. From the IBM-developed Hollerith punchcards used in the 1890 U.S. census, to race-mixing studies for Cold Springs Harbor and concentration camps in Rockefeller-funded Nazi Germany, eugenicists have long tabulated vital statistics in order to attack subtly and with precision. Now they are targeting our food supplies, water, air and environment in attempt to shut off our future. How will elites utilize the human genome code, blood samples and DNA theyve spent decades compiling? Why do ...

Can Amazon be used as a crystal ball... an online Cassandra able to predict future events? Well, yesterday Amazon UK reported its best sellers in the "sports and leisure" category. Many observers found the list quite shocking. You see, while the products are mainly used in sports, they can also be used as weapons. Take a look for yourself. This image represents the top three sellers as of yesterday, August 9: riot It's not a huge logical leap to believe that these bats and batons will end up in the hands of the current mob wreaking mayhem in England. The objects range from baseball bats and military police-style nightsticks... to shovels, tents and fire extinguishers. ...

Michael Kennedy is Chief of Police in tiny Sunriver, Oregon, an unincorporated resort village in the Beaver State's Deschutes County. Kennedy insists that his police force has been terrorized for years by a marauder named Robert Foster. "He breaks the law all the time," Kennedy insisted in a June 15, 2010 sworn deposition. "Well, have you ever arrested him?" asked Portland attorney Frank Wesson, who was representing Foster at the time. "I have not," admitted Kennedy. "Has anyone in your department ever arrested him?" Wesson pressed. Kennedy sought refuge in evasion: "Not to my knowledge, sir." Bear in mind that Kennedy isnt ...

Folks who wish to live free and prosperous in the next century would do well to understand the failures of the past. LESSON NO. 1: If a bureaucrat, or a soldier sent by a ...
