Attorney Michael Storie said authorities found rifles, handguns, body armor and a portion of a law-enforcement uniform inside the house where Jose Guerena was shot by officers serving a search warrant May 5. "Everything they think they're going to find in there they find," Storie said in a news conference called a day after the Sheriff's Department complained that media reports on the incident spread misinformation and encouraged speculation about events surrounding the shooting. BASIC LIST OF SUGGESTED ITEMS FOR LONG TERM SURVIVAL Post Date: 2011-05-19 12:00:26 by HAPPY2BME-4UM

BASIC LIST OF SUGGESTED ITEMS FOR LONG TERM SURVIVAL Some people are saying we should prepare for at least 7 days, but the way things go after a hurricane, tornado, floods, loss of electricity and the fact that these disasters will continue and perhaps even get worse in coming years according to trends, one week is not enough. Some have said 7 years, but that seems too long so do what you can. Be sure to use the older stocked goods first and replace them with new. Otherwise you will end up with all old food you might not even want to eat. Always check canned tomatoes for spoilage, as even in the can they can spoil. Most other foods last a long time. 1. Water stored to last at least 5 ...

Over Half of Chinese Polled Were Saddened by Osama Bin Laden Death Post Date: 2011-05-18 05:52:41 by Tatarewicz

What could cause 59.5% of Chinese to view Osama Bin Laden as a heroic Anti-American fighter as reported recently by Phoenix TV in China? This thought raced through my mind as I first read the report. How could such an intense level of anger or hatred be directed at the USA by one of our largest trading partners China? Could it be true that behind many of those smiling Chinese faces that are traveling to, and doing business in the US market, is a hidden hatred or resentment toward America? Deng Xiao Ping once told China to Hide your strength, bide your time. What this not so cryptic message meant was that China should not disclose how far she had come, ...

Philly Police Harass, Threaten to Shoot Man Legally Carrying Gun by John Stossel | May 16, 2011 Print Email Share 848 Comments A story in today's Philadelphia Daily News shows why it's so important that citizens be allowed to videotape cops - it can be citizens' only way to fight back against police abuse of power. This incident happened several weeks ago in Philadelphia to Mark Fiorino, a 25-year-old IT worker who carries a gun on his hip at all times for self defense. He got the gun after several friends were mugged. But he didn't count on attacks by police: On a mild February afternoon, Fiorino, 25, decided to walk to an AutoZone on Frankford Avenue in Northeast ...

The Battle of Athens A murder stirred up the trouble. For the past three days, Athens has been rocked by violence. It all began on Tuesday morning, when a 44-year-old man, Manolis Kantaris, was killed by three Mahgrebs (Morrocan or Algerian according to the police), as they tried to rob him of a video camera he was carrying. The most shocking part, and that which infuriated Greek citizenry, was the fact that the victim carried the video camera because he was going to take his wife to the hospital where she was to give birth to their second child. It was five in the morning, and he was heading to pick up his car so he could transport his wife and mother-in-law. When they saw he was late, ...

Obama Orders Targeted Assassination of another U.S. Citizen? A number of pundits have pondered how long it would take for the Administrations penchant for assassinating U.S. citizens to be applied to those in the legal reform community, activists and journalists who are attempting to address the current legal meltdown going on inside the United States. Judicial Reform activist Bill Windsor has just added his name to the list of political activists reportedly targeted for assassination by the U.S. Government. William M. First, some history. In 1969 when Col. Gaddafi came to power by overthrowing the Libyan king in a military coup, Libyans were one of the poorest people in the world with an annual per capita income of less than $60. Today, thanks to the Arab Socialism policy of the government as well as bountiful petroleum exports, the Libyan people enjoy one of the highest standards of living in the Arab world. Most Libyan families own their own home and most Libyan families own an automobile. The free public health system in Libya is one of the best in the Arab world and Libyas free education system up to the graduate level is as good if not better than any other in the region. ...

BILDERBERGERS DANGEROUS Post Date: 2011-05-14 04:10:27 by Tatarewicz

An influential legislator from Switzerlands largest political party has issued a strongly worded letter to the head of the Swiss Federal Department of Justice and Police, saying that the globalist Bilderberg groups planned meeting in Switzerland June 9-12 threatens the nations deep-seated traditions of populist rule and neutrality as well as bringing many disreputable participants, some of whom are accused war criminals, to the traditionally neutral country. The legislator, Dominique Baettig of the Swiss Peoples Party (SVP), was interviewed by this AFP writer last December and soon made headlines when he called for George W. Bushs arrest for war crimes if he ...

EDMONTON - The man killed in the Edmonton Remand Centre early Thursday morning was only there because he chose not to pay a $110 fine, and was set to be released from custody later that day. Barry Raymond Stewart, 59, of Edmonton, was found dead inside a cell Thursday morning. Another prisoner, Justin Caldwell Somers, 25, has been charged with second-degree murder. According to court records, Stewart had missed an appearance in traffic court on Feb. 2. Two days later, a warrant was issued in his name. On May 10, he was arrested by police and chose to serve a day in jail rather than pay the $110 fine. Stewart was held in a basement cell of the remand centre, in a unit reserved for those ...

AMONG Americas three-year-olds, a revolution is afoot. Children of that age are turning the countrys demographics on its head. According to a recent study from the Census Bureau, the majority of them are now from groups normally considered minorities, chiefly Hispanics and blacks. The latest release of data from last years decennial census confirms that whites still constitute a slender majority, 54%, of those under 18, and a larger one, 64%, of the population as a whole. ...

How bin Laden emailed without being detected by US Post Date: 2011-05-13 05:27:41 by Tatarewicz

WASHINGTON - Despite having no Internet access in his hideout, Osama bin Laden was a prolific email writer who built a painstaking system that kept him one step ahead of the US government's best eavesdroppers. His methods, described in new detail to The Associated Press by a counterterrorism official and a second person briefed on the US investigation, served him well for years and frustrated Western efforts to trace him through cyberspace. The arrangement allowed bin Laden to stay in touch worldwide without leaving any digital fingerprints behind.
