Turtle's Only Real Hero

Poster Comment:In the first movie Bruce Banner told his girlfriend that being the Hulk was about "rage, power and freedom." And of course he was invincible. The interesting, and true thing, about both films is that they about the American government and the military turned against the American people. Oh -- I forgot-- also corporations. Actually it's the military, the government, and corporations, all of which have become the same thing. Turtle wouldn't mind being the Hulk. He would put on a show that would never be forgotten.

Lets say for the sake of arguement that someone was able to make the "movers and shakers" impotent. How would that be accomplished? What would follow? I've seen much discussion but little in the way of "how to." Not dissing anybody. Just trying to determine how to "go about." At this time, it seems some paralysis. I'm no genuis. Just curious about hypotheticals. IE: how to rid ourselves of the F*ing trash in charge.

Date: 2009-01-06, 3:43AM EST I was the white guy with the black Burrberry jacket that you demanded I hand over shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I hope you somehow come across this message. I'd like to apologize. I didn't expect you to crap your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. Truth is, I was wearing the jacket for a reason that evening, and it wasn't that cold outside. You see, my girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber 1911 .45 ACP pistol for Christmas, and we had just picked up a shoulder holster for it that evening. Beautiful pistol, eh? It's a very intimidating ...

Economy Stimulates Hate Groups

(Newser) – The economic crush will spur more activity by the burgeoning number of hate groups in the US, experts warn. Law enforcement investigators are advocating for increased attention to the problem as the economy creates widespread discontent and more recruits for white supremacists, reports the Washington Post. "The internet, immigration and the economic crisis—that is the molten mixture for these guys," said an official with the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms and Tobacco. "That's the furnace of hate." The number of US hate groups has increased by 48% to 888 since 2000, according to statistics gathered by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The groups are ...

Judge Orders Release of Guantánamo's Forgotten Child

Just two weeks ago, in a habeas corpus case in a Washington, DC, court, Judge Richard Leon turned the clock back to January 11, 2002 (the day Guantánamo opened) by ruling that the US government could continue holding two prisoners at Guantánamo – the Yemeni Muaz al-Alawi and the Tunisian Hisham Sliti – because the authorities had demonstrated, to his satisfaction, that they met the criteria for being regarded as "enemy combatants." According to the definition of an "enemy combatant" that Leon himself had been obliged to choose from several options before proceeding with the cases, this meant that they were "part of or supporting Taliban or ...

Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance Individual ownership of a firearm no more qualifies the owner to protect themselves and their property and defend the rights granted by their creator than individual ownership of a cowboy hat qualifies the owner for the National Finals Rodeo. Responsible ownership of a firearm requires not only adequate training in its use, but also a mental mindset capable of formulating and implementing a plan should that tool ever be required. Irresponsible use of a firearm often provides opponents of the right to keep and bear arms a useful weapon, especially considering their willing accomplices in the congress and the media. Training with your chosen ...

The ‘Reafricanization’ of the West Why are whites failing to reproduce? by F. Roger Devlin There is nothing new under the sun. The radicals of the 1960s who championed sexual liberation and called marriage a “system of oppression” imagined they were doing something revolutionary — and in a sense they were, but feminism and the sexual revolution have led to the reemergence within the white world of a more primitive family system long observed in Africa. A forgotten warning About the middle of the “roaring twenties,” the eminent literary critic Irving Babbitt issued a warning: “Sexual unrestraint is wreaking fearful havoc to society. The ...

The Purpose of the Economic Meltdown

By Carolyn Harris Infowars December 16, 2008 We all know economic depression is here, and some of us have an inkling about what is coming. The governments vacillate between spewing gloom and doom and ridiculous `happy fun clown time' gibberish at the great unwashed masses, depending upon whether they want fools to buy into the stock market at that particular time to make certain fat cats even richer, or they want those fools to sell and lose almost everything. The housing bubble has been popped, the stock market is crashing, and pensions are being siphoned off minute by minute. It's clear that gold price is being 'manipulated' , at the same time the dollar is going down. ...

Technology tends to separate normal from natural. Our bodies weren't designed to eat the foods that people in rich countries eat, or to get so little exercise. There may be a similar problem with the way we work: a normal job may be as bad for us intellectually as white flour or sugar is for us physically. I began to suspect this after spending several years working with startup founders. I've now worked with over 200 of them, and I've noticed a definite difference between programmers working on their own startups and those working for large organizations. I wouldn't say founders seem happier, necessarily; starting a startup can be very stressful. Maybe the best way to put ...

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - Israeli forces pounded rocket-launching sites and smuggling tunnels in Gaza Saturday and planes dropped leaflets warning of an escalation in attacks, as Palestinian militants fired at least 10 more rockets at Israel. Egypt hosted talks aimed at ending the violence. Flames and smoke rose over Gaza City amid the heavy fighting. The Israeli threat to launch a "new phase" in its two-week-old offensive that has already killed more than 800 Palestinians came in defiance of international calls for a cease-fire. "The IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) will escalate the operation in the Gaza Strip," the leaflets said in Arabic. "The IDF is not ...

You've heard all about it by now. Early in the morning on New Year's Day, police in Oakland, California, had a man down on his belly on a BART platform -- a suspect in a fight with other passengers. Suddenly, in full view of other holiday revelers traveling home, Officer Johannes Mehserle draws his pistol and shoots 22-year-old Oscar Grant III in the back. Camera-equipped cell phones on the scene captured the incident as it happened, putting the telling of the tale on YouTube and beyond the power of official spin. Oakland broke out in rioting as a result, and we have yet to see the last of the fallout. That's happened in the past in the aftermath of apparent police misconduct, ...

40 Reasons to Support Gun Control

It's amazing what one has to believe to believe in gun control by Michael Z. Williamson 1. That incidents where people shoot criminals in self defense are very rare, and shouldn't be used as excuses to own guns, just as incidents where presidential press secretaries are shot are very rare, and shouldn't be used as excuses to ban guns. 2. That guns are the real cause of crime, but we will blame and jail the owner of said gun for the crime, even if the owner wasn't the person involved. 3. That a mugger will kill you in the half-second it takes to draw from the holster, but won't harm you while you dial 911 on your cell phone, talk to the dispatcher and wait half an ...

OS ANGELES, CA. (January 3, 2009) A burglar in Los Angeles chose the wrong celebrity to mess with -- quite literally. Actress Jennifer Aniston and her personal assistant Debi Burke returned to Aniston’s Hollywood Hills home yesterday after a week away to find that thieves had emptied almost everything in the house. "Tears just rolled down my face as I walked in and saw everything gone and piles of trash all over my home," Aniston reportedly said. Aniston sent her assistant to the local police precinct to file a report while she inspected the piles left behind. As she walked back into the sunroom, a man walked through the back door straight into her, Aniston said. ...

Berkeley gardener told to uproot his plants By Doug Oakley Staff writer Posted: 01/05/2009 07:23:28 PM PST Gary Rosenberg says he is just trying to practice what city leaders preach: He is trying to practice sustainable living by using as few resources as possible. But instead of giving the Berkeley man an award for growing his own fruits and vegetables, recycling and composting, the city slapped him with a $3,000 fine. He also faces more fines of $3,000 a day if he doesn't tear down his rooftop greenhouse or submit a $4,000 nonrefundable zoning fee to legalize it. And he needs to get rid of the outdoor rooftop gardening operation — which is all in plastic pots — and trim ...

Manifest Destiny had run out of room, and the American Empire – a term used unblushingly in triumphalist literature of the ...

Special Research Project of the Quantum Future School Our Sincere Thanks to the Owner of the website on Psychopathic Personality Disorder for kind permission to quote her research in assembling this report. The terms sociopath or psychopath often bring to mind images of sadistically violent individuals such as Ted Bundy or the fictional character of Dr. Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter in the book and movie The Silence of the Lambs. But I believe the defining characteristic traits of sociopaths actually cover a much broader spectrum of individuals than most of us would ever imagine. The sociopath is that truly self-absorbed individual with no conscience or feeling for others and ...
