If Ron Paul’s libertarian handlers and support base could escape their ideology, Ron Paul could be much better positioned to win the Republican nomination. Here are some suggestions. Ron Paul should be making the point that Social Security and Medicare are threatened by multi-trillion dollar wars that are funded by debt, by bailouts of a deregulated banking system, and by money creation to keep the banks afloat. Libertarians support deregulation, but their position has always been that deregulated industries must not be bailed out with public subsidies, much less subsidies that are so extensive that they threaten government solvency and the value of the currency. Instead of ...

Director Oliver Stone Praises Ron Paul in New Interview Submitted by RockCellarMagazine on Mon, 01/23/2012 - 13:06 Director Oliver Stone was just interviewed by Rock Cellar Magazine. In the interview he says: "I think in many ways the most interesting candidate – I’d even vote for him if he was running against Obama – is Ron Paul. Because he’s the only one of anybody who’s saying anything intelligent about the future of the world." "Why is it necessary for every candidate – except for Ron Paul – to pay obeisance to this hypocrisy that the U.S. is a good force in the world, and that it is the dominant force, and can be the policeman of ...

Did Ron Paul Lose Iowa Delegates? Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com January 23, 2012 In its zeal to strip Ron Paul of all legitimacy in the run-up to the GOP nomination this summer, the establishment media has tripped over itself again. In regard to crucial delegates, CNN and CBS are reporting wildly divergent numbers following the South Carolina primary. According to CNN today, Ron Paul so far has a total of 10 delegates. However, if we are to believe CBS, he only has three. Paul’s delegate count was reported on January 11 as three. On January 19, however, the Republican establishment recalculated the Iowa caucus vote count and said that Paul had not gained a single delegate – ...

Not because of his $1.6 million Freddie Mac scandal, or his fake charity scandal, or his $300,000 ethics fine while Speaker, the arms dealer scandal, or any of his other personal and financial scandals. Newt Gingrich (or Rick Santorum) can’t be President because to be nominated, you need delegates. ... Newt has lots of media coverage, but in the physical world where campaigns actually occur he can’t get 1141 delegates. ... No candidates besides Paul and Romney filed in ...

Rep. Paul, who is one of four remaining Republican candidates for president, disagreed Monday afternoon. Paul said after he confirmed the incident involving Sen. Paul on his Twitter page that it showed why the TSA should be eliminated. "The police state in this country is growing out of control," the elder Paul said in a statement released by his presidential campaign. "One of the ultimate embodiments of this is the TSA that gropes and grabs our children, our seniors, and our loved ones and neighbors with disabilities," he continued. "The TSA does all of this while doing nothing to keep us safe. “That is why my ‘Plan to Restore America,’ in ...

YouTube: 564 delegates to be split between Paul and Romney Doug Weade on MSNBC w/ Alex Witt 01/21/12 Uploaded by RonPaulFriends2 on Jan 21, 2012 This is a two man race between Romney and Paul. Santorum and Gingrich are not on the ballot for 500 delegates worth of states. They are not, and will not be on the ballot in other states besides just Virginia. They have no grassroots support and virtually "zero" ground game. They cannot win the nomination. Period. We, the founders of Veterans for Ron Paul 2012, Nathan Cox and Adam Kokesh, propose a Veterans and Active Duty March for Ron Paul on President’s Day, Monday, February 20th, giving us enough time to plan and promote, and in plenty of time for an impact on Super Tuesday, March 6th. We will apply for a proper permit from the Parks Department and coordinate with appropriate authorities to gather in the vicinity (at the base if possible) of the Washington Monument, have a brief chance for veterans to speak, nothing special, possibly even as little as a soapbox and a bullhorn, but we’ll see. Then, at 1pm, line up in formation on 15th St NW facing North towards Constitution Ave NW, march ...

2012 Open Primary States: The key to Ron Paul's Republican Nomination Submitted by LatinsforPaul on Sun, 03/06/2011 * Ron Paul 2012 Since Obama is a strong incumbent for the Democrats for 2012 there will not be any viable Democratic Primaries in 2012. There are 17 states with an Open Primary where many Democrats and Independents will have the opportunity to vote for Ron Paul in the Republican Primary without registering Republican. Ron Paul's anti-war message of peace and his stance against the Neo-conservatives will resonate strong with many registered Democrats and Independents. We must organize and put the strongest efforts in these states to encourage Democrats and ...

Gingrich beating Romney in South Carolina is actually a good thing for Ron Paul. The delegates are getting all split up and it's going to be very difficult for Romney, or anyone to get enough, which could result in a brokered convention. Santorum will be dropping out soon as he has no money or organization to continue much further and isn't even on the ballot in 4 states. Gingrich, who is also missing from the ballot in 2 states, is going to split votes with Romney and take delegates away from him as Paul continues to pick them up little by little. This race is a marathon, not a sprint. The campaign has a plan. They have money, organization, and grassroots support in many upcoming ...

Why Ron Paul Can Still Win by John Kurtz January 22, 2012 12:45 AM EST After Newt Gingrich won the South Carolina Primary tonight, the race for the Republican nomination has been blown wide open with three different winners coming in the first three contests. Despite a fourth place finish, Congressman Ron Paul of Texas still has reason to fight on in the GOP nomination process throughout the spring. As the former doctor has pointed out, many Republican candidates have been the "flavor of the month" by rising dramatically in the polls only to plummet to the bottom of the pack a few weeks later. In his speech tonight, Paul touted his campaign's steady growth since the ...

You wouldn’t guess that the nation’s economy is in the doldrums by looking at the activity on the floor of the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas this week. This is the week of the annual SHOT Show, when tens of thousands of members of the firearms and outdoor sports industry make a pilgrimage to Las Vegas to attend the industry’s biggest trade event. Sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, or NSSF, SHOT stands for “shooting, hunting and outdoor trade.” It is where manufacturers, importers, dealers, wholesalers and distributors get together to examine wares, make connections and do business – lots of business. As I’ve been ...

Poster Comment:When the cashier saw my RP cap, she exclaimed, 'Yeah! Ron Paul.' She told me that this would be her first time to vote, and I asked if all her family and friends were voting RP, to which she said, 'Of course.' I said, 'You know that all the IA college precinct ballots were lost, don't you?' To which the guy behind me said, 'Lost, yeah right, they were lost.' This pumped me up. Massive vote fraud is the only way that RP won't become our next POTUS.
