A Maryland man was arrested and charged with murder after he allegedly mowed down an elderly woman with a stolen forklift in a Home Depot parking lot, according to police. Bryce Caleb Timothy Brown, 20, busted into a Lowe’s in Waldorf around 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, stole a forklift and rammed through its rear gates, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office said. He drove the forklift into the neighboring Home Depot parking lot and “for unknown reasons,” plowed it into a parked car, according to police. Baseball bat-wielding gangs of children are mugging mothers and nannies on the school run in the latest crime wave to hit San Francisco. Last week Noe Valley, also known as “stroller valley” because of the growing population of young families, endured 11 phone robberies that are believed to have been carried out by the same gang who are targeting women picking up children from school. One woman was reportedly hit with a baseball bat, while another was punched in the face, before the offender ran to a getaway car and drove off. On Thursday the police had arrested one minor in connection with the 11 robberies and were searching for the others.

I'm under fire. Probably nothing like you were in the Philippines after you were dragged out of high school. I understand why you didn't like the Independence Day fireworks now. I spent a lot of time in or near combat zones, nothing like you were though. I'm pretty fucked up, but the largest number of causalities, outside of Beirut in '83, has been from an attack within the US because of a "bug" and the solution. I lost a lot of close people to me.
