I didn't see how the second video proved the cops were dirty. Not suggesting they aren't dirty just don't get what the second video proved. At this point I would have to agree with the reporter, publicity stunt. At least in this case.
Barry Cooper is a former cop who busted numerous people for minor drug possession (personal amounts of loco-weed, usually) and now has great remorse for the lives he destroyed. He's trying to expose the cops war-on-drugs as the criminal enterprise he helped perpetuate.

It exposed the criminality of the war-on-drugs. From the liner notes of the youtube video:
"This is the footage of an illegal raid the KopBusters triggered. The police lied on the affidavit to get the warrant not knowing it was a trap set for them. The raiding officers are confused because according to their illegal affidavit, they thought the house contained 80 marijuana plants and $19,000. The house contained nothing illegal...just two Christmas trees growing under a light."
