Mother Nature dose offer amazing views.

As an aside, the Weather Channel is on a two week prayer vigil for tornadoes. They need to cut that crap out.

I wouldn't mind seeing one, out in the middle of nowhere. But to pray for one?

I went thru Greensburg KS several times before and after that F5 hit. It's a wonder anyone got out alive.

That was something to see. It was unbelievable. And you dont want to pray for that.

I had to settle for getting hit by an edge of a hurricane.

The Weather Channel has a project called Vortex 2 wherein they send intrepid spotters into tornadoes armed with gadgets and cameras. For a week and a half or so, there were no tornadoes and they all acted sorely depressed--not unlike that weather channel babe who apparently has a Ph.D. in global warming as she was forced to report record cold and snowfall back in April.

I've caught snippets of that program. It looks like live coverage.

And there was snow above the 7000' level last week, in NV I think.

The weather is not the same though. When I was a kid, we got a lot more snow than we do now. But to blame it on man is nonsense. These things go in cycles. There was a mini ice age back in the 1700's. Global warming due to CO2 emissions didnt warm it back up again.
