Three incidents and counting. If yesterday's Holocaust Museum slaying of security guard and national hero Stephen Tyrone Johns is not a clarion call for banning hate speech, I don't know what is. Playwright Janet Langhart Cohen appeared on CNN yesterday right after the shooting, as she wrote a play that was supposed to have been debuted at the Holocaust Museum last night. Her play is about Emmett Till, whose lynching helped launch the Civil Rights Movement, and Ann Frank, whose diary told the story of Holocaust victims in hiding in the Netherlands during World War II. She said something must be done about ridding the Internet and the public dialogue of hate speech. I agree. Not only have we had three hate crime murders within the last two weeks (Mr. Johns, as noted above, Dr. George Tiller a week ago last Sunday, and Pvt. William Andrew Long by an American-born Muslim convert outside a recruiting station just before that.) Now we have this quote from the so-called Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who used to be President Obama's pastor. Hate comes from among all peoples and all religions. He said this about his lack of communication with Barack Obama since he's been elected president, according to the AP: "Them Jews ain't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office," Wright told the Daily Press of Newport News following a Tuesday night sermon at the 95th annual Hampton University Ministers' Conference. It's not enough to prosecute these murders as murders. They are hate-motivated crimes and each of these men had been under some sort of police surveillance prior to their actions. Isn't it time we started rounding up promoters of hate before they kill?

Meanwhile, in Philadelphia, three children were killed by a robbery suspect who plowed his car into them while fleeing the scene of a crime. This gentleman, Mr. Donta Cradlock, was the driver of the car that killed the three children. This gentleman, Ivan Rodriguez, was his accomplice who was in the process of stealing a motorcycle. The children were killed during their getaway. So, where's the outcry about this crime? It happened within about 24 hours of the Holocaust museum shootings. Only instead of one security guard being killed, three totally innocent children were killed. So where's the outcry? Where's the moralizing? Where's the impassioned speeches about how three innocent lives were snuffed out in an instant, because of the thoughtless and selfish criminal actions of Mr. Cradlock and Mr. Rodriguez? Wonder if Jew Cohen mentioned in the play that young Till came from bad seed???? Doubt it. His Father was hung in Italy during WW2 by the military for raping two Italian women and murdering a third. No need to mention that.

Sure, why not? You can start with the "israeli" embassy and work your way to every synagogue in the country. That'll keep you busy for a while. Then you can work on congress and the executive branches, and don't forget the judicial branch either. Then there will be more work for you after you get done with them. She headed out to her car to get her .38, and his cousins hustled this idiot away. Till was, I believe, 14. Had he not been killed, he would have been a rapist and murderer, just like his father.

Nit picker. I checked two references and both were 2 rapes, one murder. However you may be right. His family was never told of the cause of death, only...willful misconduct...

During Korean war, overseas, two blacks raped and murdered a nurse. The cry was to bring them back to the states for trial. (obvious reasons) They were tried and hung, bodies shipped home.
