June 12, 2009 9/11 Truth Activist Sues Glenn Beck and Fox News for Defamation by George Washington An East Coast 9/11 truth activist is preparing to file a defamation lawsuit against TV / radio personality, Glenn Beck, the producers of the Glenn Beck Program, and the Fox News Channel. Specifically, Greg Hoover will be suing the above-described defendants in Federal Court for Beck’s having repeatedly broadcast statements characterizing those who question the government’s official version of the events of 9/11 as, "anarchists," "terrorists" and as persons denying the Holocaust. The complaint will note that - on October 22, 2007 - Beck suggested that those identifying themselves as associated with the 9/11 truth movement are "dangerous" "anarchists" who deny the Holocaust, and are "the kind of group that Timothy McVeigh would come from." The suit will also note that during Beck’s June 10th broadcast Beck linked the murder of the Washington D.C. holocaust museum guard with "9/11 truthers." As I have previously written, suing people for defamation who falsely claim that 9/11 activists are terrorists could be a good way to stand up to these bullies. Hoover told me by email: Copies of my actual initial filings will be available for media distribution within the upcoming week… I do so having now cast off all other personal concerns. He has a case, we have a case. One of my earlier posts states that Glenn Beck has committed mass defamation of character. It might be helpful and financially beneficial to the truth movement if Mark Cuban, Charlie/Martin Sheen or any well to do "PATRIOT" would join in funding the litigation in the form of a (federal) class action suit. Beck and FOX NEWS have abused privileges granted by the FCC and should have their license revoked as well as be fined heavily. The Class Action suit should seek millions of dollars in punitive damages. Not only has Beck used his TV Program to vilify 9-11 Truthers, he spends a good deal of his radio airtime bashing them too. Regardless of whether someone comes forward to finance the litigation ... 9-11 Truthers MUST take this opportunity to use the media for the benefit of the country and to safe-guard everyone's RIGHT to hold an opinion, and the right not to be crucified by agenda driven media types like Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Medved, Boortz, O'Reilly, ABC,NBC,CBS, or FOX. When an attorney has been selected (Where's Gloria Allred, or Gerry Spence ?) every public media company that can be attached to the suit damn sure ought to be. The MEDIA has not only failed in their purported mission of keeping citizens informed, it has misinformed, omitted facts, and actually appears to be a Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization(s). The Media has definitely failed the people of this country and the time is now for those of us interested in keeping America free to put up or shut up. Glenn Beck has provided an opportunity of a lifetime through his public misuse of the air-waves for the purposes of character assassination. The case at hand is a defamation case that should be used to expose all of the crap that oozes through the air-waves. This media gave Bush and now Obama carte blanche to attack innocent Iraqis, Afghan's, and even Americans. This media has allowed the blatant disregard for the Bill of Rights by refusing to report or under reporting the facts related to the imposition of various "Patriot Acts". America has started to look like a fascist police State and much of it is due to the media's failure to expose the activities of a government run a muck. The media tainted the presidential debates, ignored building 7, allowed preemptive war, and can never bring back the 5000 dead Americans that have forfeited their lives in an unlawful war. The media in this country is guilty of under reporting the fraud known as the State of Israel which in the end is responsible for so very many deaths and untold amounts of destruction, IN OUR NAME. RICO ACTIONS are designed to expose the performance of continuing criminal acts. Lies of omission are lies just the same, and the American Media should be exposed for the criminals they are even if this is done in a civil class action suit. Again, this opportunity should not be wasted. CORPORATIONS under FCC FEDERAL Regulatory jurisdiction have corporate by-laws that are being violated whenever they abuse their power and aim it at those who truly own the air-waves ... the citizens.

This would also be a huge opportunity for ALTERNATIVE MEDIA to become central in facilitating the collection of signatures, funds, attorneys or at least use their audiences to kick the main stream media's ass ! We're out here and we're LEGION ! Screw the NWO !

He stands zero chance in court because he's not going to have an easy time with the basic predicate, which is that he himself was slandered. Since this is a civil thing, he's going to have to prove damages, which is also going to be a headache for a lawyer. As far as malice goes that should be far easier to deal with. Beck has shitloads of malice. It oozes with from his every pore. (BTW, "journalism" only gets title capitalization when it is the name of a specific course or is a proper noun as the name of a department at a school. Ask your editor.)
