For education and discussion only. Not for commercial use.

Crawford, Texas (AHN) - Pressure mounted against anti-war protester and mother of fallen Army Spc. Casey Sheehan Friday from millions of bloggers as well as cable news and talk radio outlets began to rip her intentions as well as her motivations to shreds.

Ms. Sheehan is camping out on the road that leads to President Bush's Crawford, Texas ranch for the entire month of August where Bush makes an annual visit. The President continues his day-to-day business with daily briefings, trips to sign bills around the nation, and meets with organizations across the country while returning to the ranch by the afternoon.

The President's motorcade has passed Ms. Sheehan numerous times without stopping to address her or her fellow anti-war protesters who claim they want to ask the president questions about "why he lied to them about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and an Al-Qaeda link to the country," which reportedly never existed.

But as the week went on, numerous stories began to emerge about Ms. Sheehan and her ties to radical left-wing anti-war groups as well as inaccurate versions of her first meeting with President Bush at Fort Lewis in Washington. An unearthed article documented in the Vacaville Reporter News contradicted the current story Sheehan has been playing in front of dozens of reporters and media outlets across the world.

Now Ms. Sheehan finds herself in an even deeper credibility issues as bloggers from various websites including Free Republic.com and military forums on the Internet discovered images during a google search of the first meeting of Bush and Sheehan where the President is giving Sheehan a consoling kiss on her cheek in a group family photo.

Ms. Sheehan made no official comment about the discovery of the photo's on Friday but claims that she will move her protest to the sidewalks in front of the White House where the President is scheduled to return after Labor Day weekend.

Agreed but I just wonder if there isnt more to this. They'd like nothing better than to incite these people IMO.

I'm not so sure. What I can see them doing is trying to confuse, mixup and dilute her message, by having other activists with varying agenda vying for media time at her protest.

Oh I agree that is typical but it wouldnt surprise me in the least if stirring the pot to get a physical confrontation started. Think of the illegal issue and the films, watching those I couldnt help but notice the non Mexican people among the illegals stirring them up. I think there are those who are pushing this stuff to the limits to bring about violence.

The antiwar crowd may get a taste of this tactic, we'll see. If so, I hope they show as much restraint.

ok, dude, explain your homepage. ;)

It was an image I found on google's image search. I forget what I was searching for now. But, as my main issue is finding the truth of human nature, I thought this was cool. Assuming this image isn't a fake (note the sinus passages and orbital socket) then WTF is a hominid (?) skull doing with fangs? The foremost front teeth look like they're for grinding. The fangs are most definitely for tearing. Animals have teeth designed for their diets. Horses have all flat teeth, cats have all sharp teeth. Humans have a combination as we eat everything, grains, vegetables & meat. So what else would have a combination?

I just thought this was weird and cause for reflection, so it's my homepage.

I guess it wouldn't be a hominid because of the placement of the teeth, space between the nose and top of the mouth and the small cranial dome. Not sure what this is, but it trips me out.

Do you honestly think that's what we mobilized an army for? To play referee?

In the history of warfare, armies have only been mobilized for a handful of reasons. Defense of country (N/A here), promotion of creed/religion/empire, acquisition of wealth/resources/land.

There are no other reasons for war. There are only pretenses.

You obviously don't know how the Constitution works. That explains a bit of your hate American / hate Americans / hate freedom position.

The President, the Congress and the rest of the Federal Government have enumerated powers. If it's not in the Constitution, they are not supposed to be doing it. The way I read the Constitution, and the way most others read it is that the war powers only provide for the Common defense.

Study the country you live in sometime. It's not as bad as you think it is. There is no need to for the hate you bear against this country or the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.

In addition, have some respect for the country you live in. Not everyone here is a slimey loud mouthed coward sitting behind a keyboard - like you. Some have actually fought and died for the freedoms you hate - but still employ and enjoy. Some have the guts to go out and stand up for what they believe in. Even if it means taking cheap shots from gutless cowards like you.

Now go go back to your beer and keyboard. Tell us what a big, bad warrior you are. Once more ask Christine what SHE knows about fighting and then tell us how you slithered out of Viet Nam on your cowardly belly. Tell us how you slithered out of Gulf War I on your cowardly belly. Then tell us why you won't sign up for the current war you so ardently support - you are eligible to go you know. Your bullshit last night about being too old is simply not true.

Why is it any of our business to begin with?

As far as I'm concerned, it's because, with the endorsement of both our Congress and the UN, Papa Bush made a military committment to liberate Kuwait. And because in the aftermath, Saddam Hussein repeatedly violated the restrictions that were imposed on him.

Now don't get into a sidetrack rant about WMDs.
My only concern about those was if they'd be used against our troops.
Their existance is irrelevant to the decision to depose Saddam's regime.
The asshole repeatedly violated the no-fly zone, and as far as I'm concerned, that's sufficient justification to take him out. Hell, Papa Bush never should have left him in power to begin with.

There is no doubt that this is a World Government clusterfuck.
I would have been happier if we sat on the sidelines 15 years ago, and just let the Saudis and Iranians worry about Saddam and the Kuwaitis.
But that ain't what happened and you can't turn back the clock.
The commitment was made, and I support our troops until the committment is fulfilled.
Then we pull OUT of the United Nations.
