WASHINGTON (AP) -- Harmful effects from global warming already are happening and are worsening, warns the first climate report from Barack Obama's presidency in the strongest language on climate change ever to come out of the White House.

Global warming already has caused more heavy downpours, rising temperature and sea levels, rapidly retreating glaciers, longer growing seasons and altered river flow, according to the document released Tuesday by the White House science adviser and other top officials.

...

The "major disruptions" already taking place will increase as warming continues, the authors wrote. They project the average U.S. temperature could rise by as much as 11 degrees Fahrenheit (24 C) by the end of the century.

...

The report emphasized that water, either too much or too little, will continue to be a major problem in every region of the country.

water, either too much or too little

There's always too much or too little water, it's never "just right".

Here's an example of the disconnect between the scientists: NOAA: U.S. Had Fourth Warmest Spring; Persistent Or Worsening Drought Conditions In Many Parts Of Nation

The contiguous United States experienced its fifth warmest May and fourth warmest spring since records began in 1895, while overall precipitation remained below average, according to scientists at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C. Also, the June 2005 to May 2006 period was the warmest on record for the contiguous United States, NOAA announced on June 19.

and the local yokel weathermen:

Frost warning Tuesday throughout much of Ohio -- except Cleveland -- after record cold Monday (May 18th)

CLEVELAND - The National Weather Service has issued a frost warning throughout most areas of Northeast Ohio away from Lake Erie from 3 to 8 a.m. Tuesday -- a second straight day of potentially damaging freeze and record-cold temperatures for mid May.

Well the Jews were so successful with that 6 million lie why not try a global warming lie? Then they can get us to pay them more to solve a problem that doesn't exist. I don't know about you guys, but I am sick of their damn lies.

God is always good!

"The hour is fast approaching, on which the Honor and Success of this army, and the safety of our bleeding Country depend. Remember officers and Soldiers, that you are Freemen, fighting for the blessings of Liberty - that slavery will be your portion, and that of your posterity, if you do not acquit yourselves like men."

Last weekend, The Weather Channel said the Chicago area has had the coldest June in 50 years.

Temps here in NE IN have been pretty chilly. We had several late frosts this year.

Mike Flaherty: Yeah, it's been there a long time. I wish I knew which corner.

Weather warfare ~ Beware the US military’s experiments with climatic warfare

Rarely acknowledged in the debate on global climate change, the world’s weather can now be modified as part of a new generation of sophisticated electromagnetic weapons........

I've had the AC on twice so far. No wonder they changed the verbiage from global warming to climate change.

I know, the first one you chuckled at the people who planted too early and the last one you were out at 5AM with your sprinklers, smoking BBQ, etc.

My guess is this May's weather was normal for the 70's or 80's, not warmer.
