In 2009, fathers are never truly appreciated Christine... Two things come to mind. In the early 1900s, my Father and his brother were both fluent in French and English. Speaking both, a local business man called them, "furriners" and my Grandfather, being English, put a stop to the French half, which actually was a shame. The second point, being appreciating a Father. In the 1930s, my Father was the only man I knew that railed and ranted against Roosevelt, calling him a lying SOB, endlessly. I did not fully understand it but when war arrived, others changed their views, my Father did not.
obviously wise and intelligent man. you were blessed.
The smooth criminal transition from Bush/Cheney to Obama
The older I get, the smarter my dad seems to me. I think of, and appreciate my parents and all that they provided for my brother and me, in all ways.
